Hi friends,
We were able to connect to oracle database thru JDBC adapter previously. To connect to SQL server , we have installed JDBC drivers for Microsoft SQL Server 2000 in same XI server. Now, we are able to connect to SQL server table but not able to connect to Oracle table . When change the CC and give the Oracle driver and Connection string, it throws an error 'SAPClassnotFoundException'.
So, Is it not possible to connect to different database in same XI system ?

1) Verify the DB URL by connecting database using Command line SQL plus or any SQL editor.
2) Check wether the Drivers deployed are supported for the Oracle Db version and JDK version on XI server and OS type ( Solaris )

SAPClassNotFoundException: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver' --> This error clearly implies that the OracleDriver has not been installed on your XI server.
Ask you admin team to do the needful and install the Oracle Drivers.

OLTP and OLAP databases on same SQL Server?

Would you put OLTP and OLAP databases on same SQL Server or separate?
I realize the ideal would be separate, but that means 2 expensive licenses instead of 1. Most of our OLTP stuff happens during the day while OLTP processing happens at night (so good use of resources) if just 1 server. Also, the disks that hold
the files could have different allocations (small chunks for the OLTP disks, large for the OLAP disks). Also, by being on the same database server, the OLTP data is immediately accessible for processing into the warehouse.
Or, is it just a cardinal rule to never mix the two worlds as server completely different purposes?

There is no USB camera driver in iOS.
For security reasons, none can be added by third parties.
If they wanted you to use it, the manufacturer would write an app for that.

10.1.3.1 issue: not possible to use default revision endpoint

My use case is the following.
Messages are sent from back-end systems to the BPEL engine, which start processes in BPEL.
Because I don't want the back-end systems to be aware of the version of the processes, I want to submit the request from the back-end system to the default end-point. This is not possible anymore in 10.1.3.1. It was possible in 10.1.2

In 10.1.3.1 the default end-point doesn't work anymore.
- If I have a new version for which the implementation has changed, but the interface has remained unchanged, I want to deploy a new version (e.g. 1.1).
- The 1.1 version will become the default
- I don't want to change the end-point configuration in my back-end systems
- If I deploy a changed process with the same version (again 1.0), I will not be able anymore to analyse the 1.0 versions of the previous implemementation of the process
I know that in an ideal world, the lookup of the end-point will be done dynamically using the WSDL, but my backend-systems are not that SOA aware.
Is there a solution for this?

When requesting the default end-point in a browser, I get a page not found 404 error.
Your comment (BTW) is right on the spot. This is just my problem.
I want to deploy a new version, with a new number without changing the end-point configuration in my back-end applications.
I hoped that this is possible by using the default end-point (which was possible in 10.1.2), but it seems that this is not possible in 10.1.3.1.
Any other ideas?

How you are filling the range r_movetype ? u must fill sign to the range .. here is sample code
populate range table to receive specific value
r_movetype-sign   = 'I'.   "I = include, E = exclude
r_movetype-option = 'EQ'. "EQ, BT, NE ....
r_movetype-low    = '12345678'.
*r_movetype-high   =    "not needed unless using the BT option
append r_movetype.

After Mavericks update spotlight search menu gone, not possible to use spotlight at all

I updated last week to Mavericks and since the update Spotlight is completely gone.
It's not possible any more to get to the spotlight search at all. I checked the Spotlight in the preferences the keyboard short-cuts (apple default) are still enabled but nothing happens.
Even the spotlight magnifier icon in the menu bar is not there any more.
Can anybody help?

Some of your user files (not system files) have incorrect permissions or are locked. This procedure will unlock those files and reset their ownership, permissions, and access controls to the default. If you've intentionally set special values for those attributes, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it, but you do need to follow the instructions below.
Back up all data.
Step 1
If you have more than one user, and the one in question is not an administrator, then go to Step 2.
Enter the following command in the Terminal window in the same way as before (triple-click, copy, and paste):

I did not upgrade compressor to the last because it does not give the possibilities of version 4.0.7

Yes. Export a master file from FCP and bring that exported file into Compressor's source file well.

I would like to know if it is possible to use a Powershell cmdlet to determine if Windows Server 2012 (R2) Source Files are present on disk.
We are using an automated PS script to install roles and features and some registry keys and applications afterwards. If the Source Files are not present, the script will fail, so I would like a# Check if Source Files are present # stage built in
the script to determine if the source files are present or that an alternate source path needs to be used.
Is this possible with Powershell and if so, how can we achieve this?

I assume that you are using powershell command "install-windowsfeature" .
I would suggest you add the parameter "-source" to specify the alternate path of thesource file .
" The path specified in this parameter is only used if the command cannot find feature files in the local side-by-side store of the specified target computer or VHD. "

Possible to use scanner over network (without sane server)?

Hi,
I'm completely new to the subject of printers and scanners.
My configuration is the following: I got a HP OfficeJet 6500 in the basement, which is connected to a network switch, which my laptop (and a router and several other computers) is connected to.
Thanks to CUPS, printing is no problem. I got it to work within no more than 10 minutes (YEAH! I bet no Windows user could have done that faster and easier!)
Now I'm trying to get the scanner function to work.
My question is this: is it possible to use that scanner in the basement with my laptop and NO ADDITIONAL sane server directly connected to it?
Do I need a scan server which is DIRECTLY connected to the scanner (e.g. via USB)?
The only information I found on that topic was how to access a working scan server over the network, but this is NOT what I want to do.

You should deploy multiple kodo-ds.xml files (i.e. kodo-ds-oracle.xml).
