Is it OK to use adaptors in Europe and plugging in a US ipad?

Travelling to Europe and just want to make sure this will be ok.

The Apple charger is electrically compatible with every power system in the world.  Mechanical adapters are all that are necessary.

I used my friends iphone5 and plug into my laptop as new iPhone, so my backup data is deleted..??
as for few days i start using my friends iphone5 and plug into my laptop as new iphone, but the question is the back up date which i took from my own iphone is still there..??
and if i want can i back up that date now to my friends iphone as now i purchased that phone..??
please help me as i think i have lost my backup and there were 1000 pics and more than 500 texts..

Yes, iPhone is supposed to be associated with exactly one computer, and one computer is associated with one user's iPhone.
    So your backup is gone.
But of course you still have your iPhone that was backed up originally, so it would still have all its content.

  • Can I use my same itunes that I use with my iphone and sync it to my ipad?

Can I use my same itunes that I use with my iphone and sync it to my ipad? That is, can I sync all my existing apps, etc that i use on my iphone to my ipad, without messing anything up?

    Yes.
iPhone apps will not be able to use the full screen resolution, but most if not all will work.

  • Can I use an apple keyboard and track pad with my iPad Air?

How do I use my apple keyboard and track pad with my iPad Air?

I did all that you suggest before and it didn't work.  So I waited a bit and tried again and it finally worked.  Not sure what the problem was as I didn't do anything differently.
Thank you for all your help.

  • Keep using when fully charged and plugged in?

I was wondering if i can continue to watch netflix while my MBP is fully charged and plugged into AC power. Does this hurt the battery, or should I be okay? Any answers are greatfully accepted!!
    Thanks!!

Leaving it plugged in is much better for the battery (as long as it's not overheated) than unplugging it and letting it empty out frequently. I leave mine plugged in for the entire work day, unplugging only to transport it in the morning and evening, and after over a year it still has 97% of its original capacity.
Also, on the Apple laptops that have non-removable batteries, Apple says there is no need for the "completely discharge once a month" calibration procedure. In other words, if you have a newer Apple laptop where the battery can't be removed, those are essentially maintenance-free. You just use it.

  • I have an Iconia A500. I have a charger that has the 2 additional adaptors for Europe and UK,

i have had this Iconia for 4 years and use it only when traveling.  I can not find any information that says that the AC Adaptor is also a convertor, just that the 2 aditional slide on plugs that allows one to plug into a different type of socket.  The last time I was in the UK ad Norway I used a seperate convertor.  This time I would like to know if I can safely use just the power cord and it's alternative plugs that I have that appear to be genuine Acer products.Model PSA18R-120PINPUT 100-240V~0.5A

    good.you can use it.

  • HT4059 I use the bookmark option and after  I close the iPad it opens up on the first bookmark I used

I read on my iBook, I mark a bookmark, when I close my iPad, after I come back, it opens up at my first bookmark I used.

I'm not sure if I am having the same problem or just a similar problem.    Lately when I open a book in iBooks it automatically opens not to the page where the bookmark is, but so e earlier page.   Not certain if it is opening to a random page or a previously bookmarked page.
It happens on my iPad 2, iOS 6.0.1. In Settings sync Bookmarks is set to "on" and I use iCloud to sync devices as well as plugging in to iTunes on my Mac almost  daily to make back ups.   I don't tend to open iBooks on my iPhone 4S, but it is set to sync anyway.

I have set my Icloud account and saved documents on my computer, but I don't know how to read them on my Ipad! Do I have to download an app to my Ipad?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Upload iWork documents from your mac to iCloud.com, if iCloud is configured correctly they will appear in the appropriate iWork application on your iPad.

I have already bought a macbook pro in USA and I want to use it in Europe. What adapter I need for my Airport Extreme?

No power adaptor is needed as the power units are auto-switching. But you will need wall outlet adaptors such as you will find in Apple's World Travel Kit, at AAA stores, and other vendors.

  • Does the iPad mini have a setting so it can be used with either 120 or 240 electrical current? If yes, how do you go about setting the desired input voltage? I will travel to Northern Europe and want to know if I will need a voltage converter.

The iPad charger is dual voltage. You need only a plug adapter to be able to plug your US charger into a European wall outlet. A basic one costs about $2.00. - $6.00. Like this...

  • I am currently living in Europe and using my iPhone on airplane mode only with wifi. My iMessage switched to my e-mail account and when I go to the settings to switch back to my phone number that isn't an option to click on. How do I get it back?

I am currently living in Europe and using my iPhone on airplane mode when I have wifi. My iMessage is switched to my icloud e-mail address and when I go to my setting to switch it back to my number, it is grayed out and not an option to click. This was working before with my number so I know that it's not from being on airplane mode. How do I get it back to my number?

They need to go into their settings>messages and make sure iMessage is on.  Also they should click on the send & receive button to make sure their phone number is selected.

  • When i connect my mac book pro to an external display using a VGA cable and adaptor, the external display splits into several different columns of the same screen overlapping one another. Does anybody have any ideas as to why this happens?

I have used different VGA to mini port adaptors, different VGA cables and connected them to different external monitors and prjectors but the same thing happens. I am starting to think there may be a problem with the macbook itself however, when i have used a HDMI lead and adaptor to external monitors the external display is fine.

  • Using iPhone in US and later in Europe,,,? Lock problem?

    Hello,
Anyone know whether I can buy an iPhone here in the US, use it for the year we will be here and then take it back to Europe and us it there? I understand that I may need to request an unlock code (??) to be able to do that. Any advise from those in the know? Is it true that legal unlocked iPhones are now sold in Germany?
    Many thanks, Floor

Are you saying all iPhones sold in France are sold as carrier locked with Orange, and Orange provides an unlock code to those who pay the premium for an unlocked iPhone?
I wasn't aware of that, but I guess that makes sense vs having two inventories - a carrier locked version and an unlocked version - sold as unlocked out of the box.
The unlock code originates from Apple, and Apple being required to sell an unlocked version in addition to a locked version due to French law is different from Apple giving at&t the unlock code for an iPhone sold in the U.S. as carrier locked with at&t only in this scenario.
Apple may do this for an iPhone sold in the U.S., but I still think this is doubtful at the present time, or during the next few years anyway.

  • If you are traveling in Europe, do you need both an adapter AND a voltage regulator to charge the IPad2 and the iphone? Or, the reverse, will it hurt either if I use both the adapter AND the voltage convertor?

If you are traveling in Europe, do you need both an adapter AND a voltage convertoro charge the IPad2 and the iphone? Or, the reverse, will it hurt either if I use both the adapter AND the voltage convertor?

You may only need adapters for the different kind of sockets, depending of the country you want to travel. A voltage converter is not needed.
The Apple power units are multi voltage devices, supporting a range from 110 V to 240 V. as you can see on the labels. O.K. for most of the labels you need a magnifier, but its on them.
    Have a pleasnt journey
