Is it okay to use VO made up of transient attributes only ??

Dear Experts,
I created a VO based on nothing... and later added transient attributes in it.
It comes very handy to be used as temporary/staging tables instead of using PLSQL tables or DB tables.
It is very easy and convenient, most importantly, I am happy that it is working fine and I based my whole application on these kind of VOs.
I am using them for
1) Store user selected rows in popup and display those on the main page.
2) To store the data from main page and use those tables on summary popup.
3) used attributes stored in them for different conditions or decision making in the page.
I am just worried about
1) Do I need to passivate all transient attributes?
2) Do I need to change anything in AM pooling?
3) What is the memory scope of this? (As of now I have only one jspx page and no taskflows)
4) What happens when user refresh the page?
5) What happens when the page times outs?
6) Since everything is stored in memory when is the system allocates/deallocates memory for such kind of VOs?
I have almost developed the application and now I am praying that it should not show any unexpected behaviours in the future ...as I have tried unconventional methods and I am not sure about these memory games. Has anyone tried this before? any experiences?

Do you mean that I can use programmatic VOs as my temporarry storage and it will not have any memory issues?

A few years ago I transferred my classical music collection from reel-to-reel tape and LPs to VHS tapes. These worked very well in a VCR.

You went reel to reel to VHS tapes-suddenly you switch to talking about DVD's?
iTunes does not recognize audio DVD's(I think, I know it will not burn them).
Since for the most part audio DVD's were/are a flop, I don't know of any program that would recognize them.

Several obviously don't apply and of the ones left I don't know which content that is in IMovie that I use comes under. "This video is my original content and I own the rights to it" "I have a license or written permission of the property rights holder to use this material" "My use of the content meets the legal requirements for fair use of fair dealing under applicable copyright laws" or "The content is in the public domain or is not eligible for copright protection."

You want to use the "I have a license..." option, since clearly the music is not yours, but Apple has granted you a license.

All Apple power supplies work world-wide with the proper plug adapter.
I have my MacBook plugged into the grid all the time, 24 hours a day w/o any problems.

Because the battery does not overcharge, it shouldn't hurt the battery - but - I don't use my iPad this way for days on end. That sort of defeats the whole portability factor of having a battery powered device like this.
I will leave my iPad on the charger for hours at a time while I am using it - maybe all day long on weekends - and I still get about 10 hours a day out of a full charge. I did this my my original iPad that is 20 months old and the battery is still going strong.

Air density and pressure (not absolute height) could be an issue if you were climbing Mount Everst.
Airplane passenger cabins are pressurized to the equivalent of a much lower altitude (less than like 2000 meters/6000 feet), so altitude specs do not apply.

TS2634 Is the iPad 3 smart case okay to use with the iPad 4?

I just got the newest generation iPad (4th generation iPad) and I want to get the smart case so that it covers the whole iPad. I was reading reviews on amazon and also the title of product was "smart case for iPad 2 and iPad 3". Is that one okay to use for the iPad (4th generation)?

I would assume it will work but the only thing to watch for would be that the Lightning connector would be acessible through the case's opening. Width-wise, the opening should be fine. It would depend more on the alignment front to back of the connector and the case's opening. Even if the Lightning connector is somehow blocked from access with the case, you could still use the cover (remove it to charge the iPad) since the physical dimensions of the 4th gen iPad are the same as the 3rd gen.

The latest version of iPhoto which can operation with OS X 10.4.11 is iPhoto 7 which is part of iLife 08. You might be able to find a copy of iLIfe 08 on Amazon.com or Ebay.com.
iLife 08's full system requirements are:

Is SETI software okay to use on my iMac?

I used to run BOINC software for SETI on my old PCs (may they rest in peace), but now I'd like to help with the SETI search using my new iMac. Anyone see any problems with running the BOINC software?

BOINC consists primarily of two parts:
- a client part that does all the scheduling what work to run next and that caches all of the work;
- a graphical user interface to make commanding the client easier.
You can run the client (boinc.exe under Windows, boinc-client under Linux, and boinc under Mac OS X) by itself. You can separately start BOINC Manager. You can also exit the BOINC Manager and leave the client --and the science applications-- running. The BOINC software is okay to use on your iMac.

In IBooks Author choose Share:Export... iBook. Drag the YourBook.ibooks file onto iTunes, maybe directly into the Books panel. Sync your iPad with the Mac, selecting YourBook in iTunes.

Transient attribute not editable when using treeModel

using Jdeveloper 10g ADF BC & JSF, just wondering why can't I use transient attribute when having master table - inline detail table (treeModel in page def). In my view objects I've created transient attributes for master and detail view and checked Updateable always.
When I drag drop normal table (just master or just detail), everything is okay I can update transient attribute, but when I use master table - inline table (basically treeModel) attributes becomes disabled even though every other attributes are editable. Why is this happening? Is there some workaround.

It didn't work because of following: I named my transient attribute Selected. Then on page I was reffering to #{node.Selected} which appears to be internally used or something so it made my selecBooleanCheckBox always disabled. When I rename transient attribute to CheckBox everything works fine. I'm just sad it took me few hours to try that.

The issue with the Airport Express (or any of the Apple routers) is that you need the Airport Utility to configure it. Airport Utility works on OSX and Windows, but not on the iPad (or iPhone or iPod Touch.) It will work, if you can preconfigure the Airport correctly ahead of time, but you'd be stuck if you did need to reconfigure while at the hotel.
You can use most any other router that is configured with a web page, which means you have a chance of configuring with Safari on the iPad. If you want something somewhat portable, I use a "travel router" made by D-Link. The current model is the DAP-1350. Other companies make similar travel routers, but I have no experience with the others.

However when looking at the page the selection is only the first one selected and not the miltiple choices I made

hi philly, thanks for getting back to me, especially on such a busy day.
I don't think that's quite the issue though. I bought an album and it appears in 'my purchases' within the itunes app. Yet, in order to listen to the music, i must use the 'music' app and in this application, there are only three tracks displayed at any one time from my downloaded album.
I can 'download all' from the 'my purchases' section but that still doesn't help, it just keeps the last three tracks downloaded in the music app.
I have the 'icloud' enabled and wondered if it had anything to do with that.
i have successfully downloaded another full album totally into the music app, but this first album is causing me problems.
