Is it only my iPhone? Please do this test for me.

I noticed that in a dark room, I can see the backlight through the black front between the receiver(earpiece speaker) and the screen. I also noticed that i can see a little of it through the receiver. Am I the only one? This can be easily tested by manually turning the brightness of the screen up in a dark room. Please post your feedback, I would really appreciate it.

Have you tried a reset first? If it works, you won't have to go through the restore process.
Hold down the sleep (upper right hand top) and the home button at the same time. A slider will appear. Ignore it and keep holding down the buttons. The Apple logo shoud appear. Then your ipad might work again. It takes a good 15 seconds. You will not lose anything on your ipad.
If you try it a couple of times and it doesn't work, you might have to go through the restore process as has been suggested above. But follow the steps so you don't lose your data.

Treat JPEG files next to RAW files as separate photos?
Environment:
LR 1.1
PC: Windows XP SP2, Dual Core 6600, 4GB RAM
Camera: Konica-Minolta 7D shooting RAW and JPG (CF card has 3 files for each frame, RAW, JPE, THM)
Although I Imported my RAW files with no problem, I discovered that the Import also copied the CF card's JPGs to the same folder as my RAW files on the hard drive. So I set out to figure out how to import RAW into LR without also downloading JPGs to my hard drive. I have not succeeded at that and have added a, Delete of the JPGs from my HD before synching Metadata step, to my workflow, but I DID find some truly weird behavior.
The File menu dropdown offers two ways to Import from the card.
1) Import Photos from device which goes directly to the Import dialog where I have preview ON.
2) Import photos from disk . . .which goes to a file display of the CF card for file selections before going to the Import dialog.
Also, if I click on the Import button to the left of the tool bar I am given a dialog box to choose:
1) M\(Camera or Card Reader) or
2) Choose Files.. , these correspond to the same options that the File menu offers.
At the bottom is a chart, with legend,of my tests of the Import.
If you want to Import RAW files tests 1, 8, 9 and 11 do that job .
If you want to Import JPG files test 2 and 10 will work.
If you want to Import both RAW and JPG test 3 will do that job.
But, I assumed (my error) that I could, using the Disk option, mix and match JPG and RAW selections.
THEN the strange stuff . . .
In test 4, 5, and 6, all disk options, regardless of whether I selected RAW or JPG files on the CF card,in the file selection dialog, the Import dialog always showed BOTH RAW and JPG files in the preview. If then, in the Import dialog for any specific file, I selected a RAW or JPG but not both, selecting RAW Imported a JPG file and selecting JPG Imported a RAW file. No kidding.
I ran this test three times with the same results. I dont consider this a big problem because there is a way to get RAW only, JPG only and both when needed, but someone could look at the code before the next release. (Maybe the shell game goes away in Pirate mode.)
My biggest disappointment is I could not find a way to Import RAW without copying a second file to the same folder on my hard drive which I will need to delete later. Maybe, next release.

Are any of your other applications going wonky, or is it just Logic?
I'm afraid I've never heard of this particular problem before, but if it were happening to me the first thing I would do is delete my "com.apple.logic.express.plist" file in Library>Preferences, then repair permissions in Disc Utility, and finally restart my computer. Then I would launch Logic and see if the problem has been corrected. It's amazing how much these two steps can accomplish.
If that doesn't resolve the issue I would launch Logic and go to Preferences>Audio Units Manager to see if all my plug-ins are properly validated.

Sounds like your iPhone was hacked to work with other than
the original cellular provider and the update relocked the iPhone
to that provider. You must contact that provider to see if they
offer unlocking and if you qualify. Only the cellular provider to
which the iPhone is locked can unlock it.
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?
Where/how did you acquire this iPhone? Who is your wireless
provider?
Not wise to post your Serial Number in the clear - I have asked

Can someone please give me detailed instruction on what to do no next. I've read several forum discussion on this subject and seen various examples. i would like help with mine. Reason being is because my MBP boot up time is almost around 2-3mins long sometimes it can even be upto 5mins. reason i ask is because i know this is not normal. compared to my macbook (mid-2010) this is REALLY slow. And all the specs of my MBP should in theory make my MB a thing of the past. (Why i bought the MBP in the first place). i've done PRAM reset and booted in Safe Mode. i've removed several applications using the correct uninstalls where required.

Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select

Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the timestamps of those log messages, which refer to the times when the system was booted. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time when you had the problem. Select the messages logged after the boot, during the time something abnormal was happening. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
For example, if the problem is a slow startup taking three minutes, post the messages timestamped within three minutesafter the boot time, not before. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the beginning of the log extract.
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.

Still in Console, look under System Diagnostic Reports for crash or panic logs, and post the entire contents of the most recent one, if any. In the interest of privacy, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if present (it may not be.) Please don’t post any other kind of diagnostic report, such as hang logs — they're very long and not helpful.

Well, after looking at the text your compiler so helpfully gave you:

i have table of supplier(supplier id,comp name,contractname,address, city, region, postal code, country, phone, fax),products(product id,sroduct name,supplier id,categoryid, qtyper unit, unitprice,unists in stock,units on order, reorder level,discontinued),order details(order id,productid, unitprice, qty, discount),orders(orderid,customerid,employee id,orderdate, requieredate, shipped date,shipvia, freight, shipname,shipaddress, shipcity,shipregion), customers(customerid,comp name contact name, contact title, address, city, region,postalcode, country, phone, fax), shippers(shipid,company name, phone), employee(allthe details of employee), categories(category id, catagoryname, description,picture)
1. I want to contact all customers who have received over $1,000 in discounts on orders this year. Give me the name and phone number of the person to contact at the customers site. Also, list the orders where the total discount was greater than $100. Remember, discount is a percentage of the price.
2. Give me a list of suppliers and products where we do not have the stock on hand to fill the orders to be shipped. List out the customer and order information for each of the products involved.
3. Give me a list of all orders that were shipped after the required date for the week of Jan 7, 2001. I want to know the name of the employees that were responsible for the orders.
4. We are having a golf tournament and I need some prizes. Give me a list of the top 5 suppliers by dollar amount in the last year.
5. Some customers are taking us for a ride on shipping. Give me a list of customers and the orders involved where more than ½ of their orders are being shipped to a region other than their home region.

The action taken by the planning engineer should b intimated to the site engineer, if no action is taken place by the planning engineer esculate it to the next level Project manager(assume the duration to b 2hours), This esculation should also b informed to the site enginner. When the project manager takes action for the notification it should b informed to the planning engineer. If the project manager in not taking any action esculate it to senior manager and
the action taken by the senior project manager wil b informed to the project manager.

Notification can be send by - Mail Step Type..
Actions on decisions can be taken by - User-Decision Step Type..!!
Kindly search SapTechnical -> Tutorials -> Business WF for the same..!!

Sorry all please read this post for my question I messed up i my other post

How do I make something print in tabular form like this:
Item Time Total

with the 1 left aligned under the I in Item the 3 left aligned under the T in Time and the other 3 left aligned under the T in Total ?

Here is what I have I am trying to get the value from the variable purchase to print out left aligned under the P in "Purchase number" and the value for the variable time to print out directly under the T in "Time before next purchase(months)" and the value for the variable total to print out directly underthe T in "Total Customer Loyalty(months)".
It should look like it has a column titled "Purchase number" , a column titled "Time before next purchase (months)" and another column titled "Total Customer Loyalty (months)" with all of the values from the variables aligned under each one of these headings like I described.

Can someone please troubleshoot this form for me?

Hi can someone perform this test for please, play some ipod music through your phone and and cover 1 speaker at a time with you finger, does 1 block out the music as if one speaker is much louder than the other ? just I have tried this on my new iphone 4 as thought it might be a problem but my 3GS is doing it to ??, is it fault or meant to be like that
