  • Delivery unit / Rounding profile for a specific customer

    Dear Expert,
A specific customer has to receive full case/box for specific products (for ex 1 case = 20 EA, if the customer orders 24 EA, he will receive 20 EA = 1full case). For other customers there is no restriction, they can order 1EA... The orders come via EDI and customer service is not able to control each order.
Thank you very much for your help!
    Regards,
    Robert

    Hello Robert
Csaba gave a good suggestion but it won't completely resolve your issue because it won't handle the Delivery Unit part of it.  It may take care of the rounding up/down business but won't change the units to Cases when Eaches are ordered.
I tested with Material Determination, it may take care of Delivery Unit  angle but can't handle rounding up/down.
So I think best option for you is to try one of these 3:
    1) Control at mapping software end to change the order quantity/units based on customer and material.
    2) Using customer functions in Function Module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS
    See OSS note: 753153 - FAQ: Customer-functions in IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS
For both of these 2 above, you need to work with your EDI specialist team.
    3) Use user exits during sales orders processing- Set up a custom table which specifies the delivery unit and rounding profile to be used for the set of customers and materials, preferably create a customer group and material group and use that in table rather than specific customers and materials. Probably you could use MV45AFZB-USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAK/USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP.
    Hope this helps.

  • Camera profiles for Canon 7D?

IN LR 3.2 I get no profiles specifially for the 7D. No camera vivid option, for example. Is this because Adobe isn't yet supporting this model?

Read what I said. There are separate colour profile for every camera. If you want to check then visit the folder I posted. In LR these profiles show up dependent on the camera that created the file. If you create other profiles for a specific camera these will also show. Profiles that are not for the camera will not show as an option in LR.
LR knows which camera made the file and loads the full set of available profiles for that camera. In the case of the 7D these are called stuff like Landscape, Vivid, etc., based on the names for various styles that the camera can produce with jpgs. Other cameras may have different naming conventions and many camera will only have an Adobe Standard profile, which will be named as such with the number that relates to the version of ACR which was in use when they were first created. So for your camera, if the profiles are installed, you should be able to choose between Adobe Standard, Vivid etc., all individual proifle for the 7 D which will not show up for any other camera unless you visit the actual folder where they are located as I previously posted.

  • ICC profiles for Epson R1800 and Lightroom - Mac Osx

Without trying to inflame an already heated discussion on prints that are too dark under my lightroom - printer - Mac Osx configuration. (Although I too am a sufferer of the darkness...!)
I have recently downloaded the latest ICC profiles for the R1800 directly from Epson to my Mac. There are three of them and for arguments sake they cover the paper type I want "Premium Glossy Photo Paper"
They download as a .sea file and not .icc as I expected.... My knowledge of Mac's doesnt extend to .sea files I'm afraid.
My question is what do i do with the file now that its downoaded?... Nothing happens when you double click on it and It doesnt appear to try to find where to install itself.
On another thread I read about dropping these files into Library - Colorsync - Profiles. They sit there happily but do not appear to show up in Lightroom when I wish to utilise the profiles.
All the original Epson profiles are there from when I installed the Epson Drivers (new and updated) but no new profiles are there. This is definitely the case as the profile "Premium Glossy Photo Paper" is still there but its name should be changed to "Premium Photo Paper Glossy" according to the Epson website... Besides.. If I delete the new files and go back into Lightroom nothing has changed.
Am i placing these files in the wrong area?
    Many thanks for any replies

I suspect that some R1800 users have perhaps not tackled the issue of dark prints and may not be feel that they have an issue at all. I also believe that this particular issue only involves Intel Mac's which may not apply to some.
Your issue may have something to do with the printer driver as well... I made sure that I went and found the very latest driver that Epson has out (there is a new one specifically for Intel Mac's). I made sure that I deleted the driver that came with the original disk.... I did this via the "printer setup utility"... then downloaded and installed the new driver.
Only then did I go through the procedure for installing the new icc profiles as discussed...
The profiles should then automatically appear in Lightroom and in colosync in the "Finder" screen under:
" Users" > then whatever your computer name is > Library > Colorsync > Profiles
The new profiles should then be seen.
This is certainly the way I did it and perhaps the whole process has to be gone through for an Intel Mac.
Hope this helps... I am nowhere near a computer expert but it worked for me.

  • ICC Profiles for papers and not for HP printers.

Hello, I apologize if this has been asked a billion times before, but I have been trying to find the ICC profiles to install for a different printer.
I am not using a HP printer, but a Canon iP6000D.  Let me explain, I'm a student and my class required me to buy different papers that were not for my original printer and I have to install ICC profiles for the papers I chose. My problem is I cannot find the ICC profiles for the paper I bought on the HP site, it's very unweildy and hard to find here. I had no problem finding my moab printer paper ICC profiles...  HP seems to enjoy hiding their profiles.
So where would I find the iCC profiles for the Hp premium plus Photo paper that is Soft gloss 8.5x11" 200gm 80lb? I've looked all over and it seems to be impossible to find.

  • Generic Profiles for HTML?

I'm surprised at the lack of profiles for some very popular
phones in Device Central... Palm, Blackberry and HTC for example...
these phones might not have Flash built-in but they are the most
popular phones available right now... surely I am missing
something... I'm not designing a Flash mobile phone application...
I just want to see how the HTML looks for given devices... please
let me know if I've got the wrong product for this purpose.
    Thanks!

The following link has standalone players but they are not
    free:
    http://www.yospace.com/spede.html
You can create you own DC profiles by modifying the main XML
file that feeds DC. The only issue is that DC actually contains
(what seems to be) accurate configuration settings to simulate the
processing speed of a target device. Additionally, DC includeds a
bunch of hard to find settings about each phone that it comes with.
If you do add your own profiles, they probly won't accuratly
represent the processing speed of your target device. And as far as
    HTML—still not an option.

  • ICC profile for Aperture books?

    All-
I've looked around Apple's web site and have not been able to find an ICC profile for soft-proofing a book. Does anyone know of a source for such a thing?
    Thanks,
    Andreas

Having watched an Apple video detailing the benefits that Aperture offers in terms of on-screen colour proofing I found it strange that there is no profile for Apple's book printing partner in Europe (or the US).
Wouldn't it be useful for Apple to include a profile for the own printing partner 'in the box' so that users can on-screen colour proof their book before sending. After all, this is supposed to be one of Aperture's main features. I can't understand why they don't. At least they could expand on the reasoning behind this.

  • Searching for a monitor icc profile for a Satellite M60-139

    i'm a grafic-designer useing a Satellite M60-139 - and therefor i need a color-profile for my Satellite M60-139-display - has anybody an idea where from i can get one?

    Hi,
From what I understand, you do not need to download or install any color profiles. It is exactly what the name implies, a profile. One you create and save on your computer. It can also be used to set different color profiles for different monitors. If you right click desktop, and then select the tab on the far right, then click advanced. Under advanced go to color management, and then click add, at which point it will give you a list of predefined color profiles. You can select the one closest to what you need and modify it to your specifications, and then save it. I hope this helps, if not, I can google around and see if there are any predifined on the internet to download, but I found none so far. Let me know how it goes.
Googling around, I found this website with some ICC's you can download. I hope you find the one you need.

  • Icc profiles for HP photopapers

I have a Photosmart D7260 printer with HP Advanced and HP Premium Plus photopaper but the prints are always too dark.  I'm trying to get better colour rendition in prints and I'm exploring letting Photoshop Elements 8 control print output, but I need to download the icc profiles for these papers. I can't find them on the HP site.  Please avoid overly technical answers please.

    Hi @OregonKnight
Welcome to the HP Support Forums.  I see that you would like to know more about color profiles for your Envy 5530 printer.
I have included the Advanced Color Management for HP Next-Generation Inkjet Printing Products document.  It discusses ICC profile settings.

  • Provisioning profile for app store?

My iphone is giving me a message saying that the provisioning profile for my app store is going to expire tomorrow.  I have the option to remove the profile, but won't that cause my app store to quit? Not sure how to restore the profile...
    Help!

    hello ,
    i found the solution...  ;-)
i installed the os lion and xcode 4.1 and the problem was solved
but to submit your app to mac apple store with xcode, you must modify this file
    Entitlements.plist
in the following path :   ../Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform
You must change "application-identifier"  to  "com.apple.application-identifier"

  • Profile for iPhone

    Hi,
I am new to Device Central, so I may not understand the App
very well - but I can't seem to find a profile for the iPhone -
which, given its popularity, is strange to me.
Is this because iPhone doesn't support Flash? At least that's
the impression I get on the Developer section
    http://developer.apple.com/iphone/devcenter/designingcontent.html">linkforfor[/L]
the iPhone and on an Adobe reply on a non-related subject.
Still, I'd like to see what a site that I design in
Photoshop/Dreamweaver CS3 look like on the iPhone.

I'm not the best expert to ask but this works well - hope it helps

  • Profile for POS inbound

    Hi folks,
ma client want to use a Profile for POS inbound but without site data. How i can use the profile in this case?
    Thanks for help.
    Best regards
    Michael

    Hi Dirk,
the POS Inbound will only work on an IS Retail System and required that you have a corresponding site set up for each store. The POS inbound process reads the POS Inbound profile from the site data (transaction WE03) during the IDoc processing. If there is no entry in WRF1 for this partner the processing will fail.
So if your client has stores that are implemented as customers but not at customers+site, the POS Interface cannot be used.

  • How to create mandatory (read-only) profile for Terminal Services user (HP Thin Client) on Server2003... aaarrgghhh!

I've been tearing my hair out for a couple of days now...
I'm trying to create a mandatory profile for users logging in from hp thin clients on a 2003 server at a school.
I've set up a prototype user, then copied the proto user's NTUSER.DAT to NTUSER.MAN and renamed
    NTUSER.DAT to NTUSER.DAT_unused.
At that point, logging in as the prototype user looks ok.  It was my understanding that renaming NTUSER.DAT to NTUSER.MAN would make it a mandatory profile, and the user (in this case the proto user) would be unable to change it.  However, in this
case the user can still modify the desktop and those modifications are preserved across logins.  The NTUSER.MAN file is being updated, judging by the timestamp changes.
    What am I missing?
I've tried putting the NTUSER.MAN in the user's dir on the server
     (C:\Documents and Settings\ProtoUser),
in the DefaultUser, and in AllUsers.
Right now I'm getting a default, unmodifiable profile which I have no idea where it comes from.
In case it matters, the original user and directory tree from which the NTUSER.MAN I'm trying to use has been deleted, but I wouldn't think that should matter.
For example, I have the option to not show the security tab set in the group policy, but it is showing up.
The Start menu is showing as the classic start menu, and I had it set for the "new" (2 column) one.
I've got hide network places on the desktop set, but it's showing up.
Is there a way to tell where a profile is coming from?
I'm pretty confused at this point; any clarifications / tips would be much appreciated.
    Related questions:
If both an NTUSER.DAT and an NTUSER.MAN exist, which is used?
If no profile is found for a user in the normal place, what happens?

    Hi,
Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
A mandatory user profile is a special type of pre-configured roaming user profile that administrators can use to specify settings for users. With mandatory user profiles, a user can modify his or her desktop, but the changes are not saved when the user
logs off. The next time the user logs on, the mandatory user profile created by the administrator is downloaded. There are two types of mandatory profiles: normal mandatory profiles and super-mandatory profiles.
User profiles become mandatory profiles when the administrator renames the NTuser.dat file (the registry hive) on the server to NTuser.man. The .man extension causes the user profile to be a read-only profile.
User profiles become super-mandatory when the folder name of the profile path ends in .man; for example, \\server\share\mandatoryprofile.man\.

  • Need Better Profiles for HP B9180

    Hi all,
Like others, I find that my HP Photosmart Pro B9180 produces prints that are 20-30% darker than the image on my calibrated monitor. I am running CS3 on my Mac OSX Leopard system. I am trying to print on HP's Advanced Photo Glossy paper.
My color settings are along the lines of those recommended by Scott Kelby (Adobe RGB workspace and prolife; and I allow PS CS3 manage colors and not the printer).
I've experimented with other printer profiles provided by HP, but nothing delivers a good print. Has anyone found a good ICC profile that will work with this printer/paper combination?
Thanks, in advance, for any help you can offer.
    Best,
    Tracy S.

Ok, you caught the typo. I actually went back to his book to find the proper page citation to support my statement, until I realized you were having a bit of fun. Just so the record is clear, I have no knowledge as to whether Mr. Kelby is or is not prolife.
    Anyway, on to your advice....
"You need to calibrate and profile your particular monitor, then use the resulting profile as your MONITOR PROFILE. (DEVICE DEPENDENT.)"
Did that, as I mentioned in my original post.
"Finally, your target profile has to be a specifically calibrated profile for the particular combination of paper, ink and printer. (DEVICE DEPENDENT)."
Yes, that is the essence of my message in which I am asking for assistance in locating a better ICC profile for my printer (HP B9180) and paper (HP Advanced Photo Glossy) combination. The stock ICC profile from HP is generating poor results. Short of printing off target sheets and sending out for a customized profile, I thought I would see if anyone else has tumbled to a better profile. Others have encountered a similar color and tonal shift in their prints using the same set up as me, so someone may be able to point me in the right direction.
Also, I did review the site to which you directed me. As Mr. Ballard points out:
"The problems users have with Photoshop, and color managed applications are:
    1) They break the Color Management System CMS, by attempting to turn it off -- when in fact they can't!
See: Turn Color Management on And Honor my Embedded Profile, Please gballard.net
    2) They have bad profiles...."
My problem is precisely the one he identifies as point (2) -- I have a bad output device profile and I wish to correct that.
Anyone out there with a good HP B9180/Advanced Photo Glossy ICC profile out there??
    TS

  • Missing camera calibration profile for supported camera

I am relatively new to Lightroom.  I have imported Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 raw (.RW2) files into Lightroom 5.3.   When I go into the Develop module under the Camera Calibration the only profile that shows up is Adobe Standard.  My camera is supported according to the Adobe web site.  What gives?

Bob, like the above post mentioned, I am also fairly new to Lightroom and still learning a lot of how things are suppose to work. I'm sure my problem is similar to the above post but can you please clarify this for me one more time. In my case...
    I use a PC running Windows 7.
    I'm running Lightroom 4.4.1, Camera Raw 7.4
I import photos from a Pentax K20D camera.
In the "Develop" module under "Camera Calibration" I only see 4 profiles which are "embedded," "ACR 4.4," "Adobe Standard" and "Camera Standard."
Is everything correct? Am I suppose to see a camera profile for my Pentax Camera? If so, how do I properly install a camera profile for my Pentax K20D camera?
I followed the path C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles and I found the "Adobe Standard" folder and in there where tons of camera profiles. I also found the camera folder and it had also different camera model folders in there including my Pentax K20D, however nothing shows up in Lightroom itself under camera calibration.
Can you please clarify how all this works? Thanks!
