IS IT POSSIBLE 2 BUILD A NEW XML FROM DAMAGED ITL? SAVE FERRIS

OK. Here's my situation. I have an HP notebook running on VISTA. ITUNES version 8.1.1....... My computer shut off abruptly while I was running ITUNES and after I restarted it and started up Itunes, I got the damaged ITL message. No big deal, I still have all my songs in their designated folder and I'll just import the XML to get all my playlists back in action. I've done this at least 10 times already. Works like a charm everytime. Oh S#!T,... my XML was wiped out during the shut down. I have a program that can retrieve files after recycle bin deletion and the XML is no where to be found. SOOOOOO here's my questiion. When my computer S#!Ted in my cereal, it split my ITL into two seperate damged ITL's. One 32 MB and the other 14 MB. I know the XML is just a backup of the ITL and I frequently update my XML twice a week to make sure no B.S. could bestow it's bad self all up in my shizz. I just never figured to make a copy of the XML because everytime this has happened, the good XML was always there to use. (NOW I KNOW)Soooo, I need to know how to build an new XML from the two damaged itl's. That way I can just import the two new xml's and then save, thus making itunes create a new fresh XML from my two provided and restoring my itunes to it's original self. My problem is I can't get ITUNES to read my two damaged ITL's. Yes, I've done the name change method, no love. I tried the restart computer at a previous date and time method, didn't work. I tried the previous libraries folder and it's five moths old, which is a 10,000 song difference for me. So that way is useless. I even downloaded the same version of ITUNES that I run onto my home computer, which runs on XP, so I could try the system cache method. No love there either. I've stumbled upon a page where a person stated that they were able to manually poke around with their ITL file and forcing ITUNES to repair it. However this person was a computer whiz and I am sooooo totally not. So I had no idea what he was talking about. Anyone dealt with this scenario before? I tried praying to GOD but all he said was "THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR PUTTING SHANIA TWAIN'S ..THAT DON'T IMPRESS ME MUCH.. ON YOUR IPOD YOU F%#KING DORK!!!" and I was like, "dude, it is undeniably impossible to not have a smile on your face for the duration of that righteous classic. Then he just f@rted into his hand and released it an inch away from my nostrils, followed by some bird flippage and nut sack grab. So I'm gonna need some help with this one. Thanks Ahead

Transferring your prepaid cellular data account depends on your carrier. AT&T lets you move it yourself when you go to Cellular Data in Settings and log into your account with your previous AT&T user name and password. For iPads with Sprint service, you can set up an account on the new iPad and contact Sprint Customer Care (888-211-4727 and go through the menus) to deactivate the old plan and get credit for unused service. For Verizon, call the company’s customer service number for mobile broadband support (800-786-8419) and ask to have your account transferred.

  • I've just finished building a new website with iWeb, I want to build a new site, how can I save the details from the first site?

    Hi There.
    I've been building a new website with iWeb. Its now complete, but I will need to keep all the detasils involved as I make amendments from time to time. Now I want to start a new site on a completely different subject. But every time I go to start the new site, it just seems to be 'papering' over the details of the old one. How can I begin a completely new site without overwriting the details of the previous site, and where do I save the original site details to for easy access.
    Thanks,

    To create a new site in the same domain file use the File ➙ New File menu option.

  • Question is it possible to build a Development environment from my current production environment VMs

    My server admin thinks it is possible to setup a new development environment using copies of the Production VMs.
    He will rename the SQL Server and Sharepoint vms see below:
    SHAREPOINT SERVER
    IP: New IP Address
    FQDN: DEVSharePoint.Local
    SharePoint SQL SERVER
    IP:New IP address
    FQDN: DEVSQLSRV.Local
    Wouldn't I also need to point IIS in the VM to the new DevSharePoint and new DevSQL using the CA, but curently it is looking like the CA points back to the orignal CA and I don't want to remove a server if that is correct?  Also how would I point to
    the Central Admin Site to the new location?
    how can I quickly resolve this?  so I don't impact the current environment with testing new development?

    I think that the best if to create new dev environment.
    Then you can migrate your current SharePoint databases (Content, Services) to the new dev environment.

  • Is it possible to create a new List from another List's template and NOT carry over the associated Workflow?

    Related to
    this post, in cases where it's desirable to have two different workflows for two different Lists—is it possible to NOT bring forward a hardwired workflow when creating a new List from a saved template?
    I.e. List #2 still has the workflow from List #1 hardwired in.  List #1 still needs its workflow but List #2 wants to have a separate Workflow.

    More importantly, because it's relatively easy for most folks to just start from scratch with a new Workflow—how does one disassociate a carried-over Workflow from the new List?
    Use the web-GUI. (List Settings > Workflow Settings)
    From Designer, there's a shortcut button at the top of the page in the Workflows tab: "Administration Web Page".

    Welcome to AD!
    +I need to know how to build an new XML from the two damaged itl's.+
    Umm, you can't. The ITL is the important file. You can rebuild an XML from an ITL, but not vice versa, completely. The ITL is a proprietary Apple file and there are no public tools for working with it.
    +I frequently update my XML twice a week+
    I am sorry to tell you, you should have been backing up the ITL file, instead.
    You might have some luck if you recently updated iTunes to a new version. It saves old ITL versions in a folder named Previous iTunes Libraries. They have names like
    iTunes Library 2009-04-06.itl
    which would be from April 6th. Preass and hold the shift key while opening itunes, choose that file when prompted, and see if it gives you any joy.

  • Creating XML from XSD, Only create The First Element

    Hi,
    I create a XML File from a xsd schema by this way:

              factory.setValidating(true);
                   factory.setAttribute(JAXP_SCHEMA_LANGUAGE,W3C_XML_SCHEMA);
                   factory.setAttribute(JAXP_SCHEMA_SOURCE, new File(MY_SCHEMA));
                    DocumentBuilder documentBuilder =factory.newDocumentBuilder();
              documentBuilder.setErrorHandler(new SimpleDOMHandler());
              Document parse = documentBuilder.parse(new File(MY_XML));The first lines of the schema:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
    <xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
         targetNamespace="http://gencat.net/scsp/esquemes/peticion"

         <xs:element name="Apellido2">
            .............................The problem is that the created document only have the first element "Apellido1". I dont know if it is a wrong xsd, or i'm using a bad way to do it.
    Thanks a lot, and apologize for my english

    Hi,
    Is it possible to create and populate XML from an XSD
    without knowing what the XSD elements are beforehand
    (all the examples appear to know what the input XSD
    will be, and therefore know what the set and get
    methods should be called)? I think it is possible--you would have to recompile each time (unless you can dynamically recompile, which would be neat), but using the classes getMethod() function, you can list all the methods. You would then have to do some tricky logic to determine which of the getMethods you want (for example NOT getClass()), and you can basically call them in sequence. You also need to worry about handling lists & recursively call xxxType classes.
    I'm experimenting with this, and it can get a little frustrating because there are a lot of odd cases to handle (for example, while setting the elements of a list, you need to actually get the list & add elements to it), but I think it's possible.
    >
    Can a user browse for an xsd to input, and the java
    will dynamically create the get methods, and be able
    to create instances and populate variables before
    converting to XML?
    What I'm puzzled about is where you'd get the data to populate the variables? Perhaps a database, or a bean? If you just want to make a test xml file, then it doesn't matter, but with real data, I think you'd still have to change how you actually get the variables you want to populate the xml file with, right? In other words, if your schema changed, the parameters you're passing to the set methods would change as well.
    Maybe we'll see some more packages in the future to make this task easier.

    I have looked at JAXB and the purchase.order examples mainly, and it appears the input XSD was known before writing the java to populate the variables.

  • Help with creating a new XML file from an existing DOM tree!!

    i want to create a new XML file from an existing DOM tree
    i used this code to create a new document:

    //          handle exception creating DocumentBuilder
              catch ( ParserConfigurationException parserError ) {
                        throw new ParserConfigurationException();
              }then i used this code to transform the DOM :

           //then catching the exceptions
    But the file was not created and i didn't find where can i specify the DTD that the XML file should use and where can i enter the name of the XML file itself
    Another questoin can i write a DTD file dynamically during the execution of the program??

  • Pls suggest for new xml flow in InDesign...

    Hi everyone,
    we have pitched into the new xml workflow in InDesign. Basically it looks like Pearson ETM XML workflow followed in Quarkxpress.
    Please go through this sample pearson xml coding followed in quark:
    DUE TO PROBLEM IN POSTING WE HAVE CHANGED < > AS [ ] IN ALL TAGS.
    [unitPart id=c01-upt-0001]
    [title]Defining the Realm[/title]
    [sect1 id=c01-sec1-0001]
    [title]Geographical Features[/title]
    [p]As Figure [xref target=c01-fig-0001/] shows, For many centuries Europe has been a hearth of achievement, innovation, and invention.[figureAnchor figures=c01-fig-0001/][/p]
    [sect2 id=c01-sec2-0001]
    [title][huc]E[/huc]uropes Eastern Border[/title]
    [p]The European realm is bounded on the west, north, and south by Atlantic, Arctic, and Mediterranean waters, respectively.Chapters [anchor id=c01-anc-0001/] and [anchor id=c01-anc-0002/].[/p][/sect2]
    Here our customer asked to proceed the same above xml structure in InDesign.
    For example: in above xml [title] tag comes under [sect1] tag as well as [sect2] tag. In Quarkxpress, we can control this [sect1] after [title] tag as [H1] style and [sect2] after [title] tag as [H2] style and so on through CPL rules.
    Here we struggle to follow the above process with InDesign. Because in InDesign if we pour the above xml the [title] tag should treated as [title] style only.
    So please guide and help us whether it is possible to follow the above xml process in InDesign....
    Thanks in Advance
    Thiyagu

    It's one of the major differences between Quark and ID.
    ID has a "paragraph composer" as will as a single line composer like Quark's, and it's on by default. When you use the paragraph composer the text is constantly analyzed and spacing adjusted for the best fit and appearance (according to the spacing algorithm and your justification settings) for the entire paragraph. If you force a line break, ID may adjust all the lines above as well as the lines that follow.
    If this is a "serious problem" you shoud probably witch to the single line composer. You'll find a drop down for it in the paragraph style definitin dialog under the Justification settings, or you can change an individual paragraph as a local override from the Control panel flyout menu.
    Most of us whove been ID users for some time find the paragraph composer to be one of the strenghts of ID, and feel it generates nicer looking text than a single line composer.

  • Is it possible to convert HTML to XML in as2?

    Hi,
    I am trying to develop a stock widget to use in my mobile using flashlite 2.x.
    I have chosen "http://charting.nasdaq.com" to obtain 5days chart /6months chart..
    But I am not able to use XML object for this and parse.. The values are in table format.. So I have to use LoadVars.. but writing a AS2 code
    to obtain values like High/Low price of the stock or volume is very lengthy since the data obtained are not in XML format..
    i tried this
    var example_xml:LoadVars = new LoadVars();
    example.ignoreWhite = true;
    example_xml.load("http://charting.nasdaq.com/ext/charts.dll?2-1-14-0-0-75-03NA000000www-&SF:4|5-WD=539-HT=39 5--XTBL-");
    example_xml.onLoad = function(success) {
         if (success == true) {
              trace(example_xml);
    Is it possible to convert them to xml and use relevent methods or xml properties?
    If I use example_xml:XML = new XML() then tracing example_xml (as above) doesn't give any data
    Any help?

    I had a project a few years ago where I converted 10s of thousands of TestStand HTML files from TS 1.0 and 3.0.
    Most of what I did is specific to our internal data structures, but I'll try to help get you started.
    The general idea is to pick out the report header and data sections from each file, then eliminate the HTML formatting.
    The attached file will extract the Report Header and data sections.
    To use this, you will need to download this additional VI that I posted here in the regex board a few years ago.
    http://forums.ni.com/t5/BreakPoint/Regular-Expressions-Board/m-p/1269088#M14343
    Here is one more file that will parse out each data record and dtermine it's Name, status, type value, limits and duration/timestamp info
    Now is the right time to use %^<%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S%3uZ>T
    If you don't hate time zones, you're not a real programmer.

  • Build A New Mac out of G4 Case

    Hi Everyone,
    I have an old G4, and I'm interested in a weekend project to build a new Mac with new components in a G4 tower.
    I don't know/care about the legality of this, just want to have fun building a Mac by my own. ( never done once before! )
    Is this possible? What are the resources I have? Store that I need to buy the component from?
    Hopefully, I'd like to have Snow Leopard on it.
    Thank you,
    Nacintosh520

    Hi, Nacintosh -
    Although peripherals such as optical drives, hard drives, RAM, and graphics cards are readily available from sources other than Apple, the same can not be said for the critical proprietary components such as the main logic board and any associated daughter or front panel boards.
    Unlike Windows-based machines, there are no makers of boards for Macs other than Apple. This means that there are only two sources for such items - AASPs (Apple Authorized Service Providers), which operate under certain limitations of what components they can sell for other than repair work; and cannibalizing used machines, from sources/sites such as WeLoveMacs or from a private party. The result of this is that there are no inexpensive boards available, at least not for any reasonably current models - and this includes all Intel-processor ones.
    This is not to say that what you want to do can not be done. It probably can be done, but not cheaply; quite possibly doing it would cost not much less, if any, than what a new Mac would cost.
    Besides, with a new Mac you get a warranty.

  • Is it possible to add a new note on stickies.app by terminal/unix shell scripts ?

    is it possible to add a new note on stickies.app by terminal/unix shell scripts ?

    1. If i uninstall GNU Classpath, Does it cause system not to work properly? Not in my experience. I have encountered dozens of cases where it cured problems like this immediately. Alternatively adjust your PATH so that it finds the JDK before it finds GNU CLASSPATH.
    (Now i am using that java on my server with a certificate , I dont want to risk the system. )GNU CLASSPATH is the risk here.
    2. I have searched about your advice, this link tells classpath causes: "certificate insert problems"
    http://builder.classpath.org/japi/jdk15-classpath.html is this what you mean ?
    I can't find that statement on that page, but it does show compliance problems of up to 20% in the security area (and *40%* in LDAP, the area I'm working in at the moment).
    Basically GNU CLASSPATH is not Java and cannot be expected to behave like it. In this case it doesn't even understand the format of a Java keystore. QED.
    Note that they don't call it 'Java', because it isn't. I quote:
    GNU Classpath 1.0 will be fully compatible with the 1.1 and 1.2 API specifications, in addition to having significant (>95%) compatability with the 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 APIs.In other words they haven't even finished JDK 1.1 yet, let alone all the other stuff. At the present rate of progress they never will. That statement is the latest, it is dated 7 July 2009, and the latest actual software is dated 5 February 2009. And there is clearly no intention of ever submitting it to the Java Compatibility Tests as real Java implementors do.
    3. How can i uninstall GNU Class Path without causing any problems to my working server?No idea, can't help you. Ask a Liinux expert.
    4. Is there any way to add the certificate without removing GNU CLASSPATH ?Yes, see above, but I still strongly recommend removal.

  • Is it possible to build pop-up menu on nav bar in a template??

    Is it possible to build pop-up menu on nav bar in a
    template??
    There is anybody who built pop-up menu on nav bar in a
    template, made changes to the pop-up menu and successfully updated
    the pop-up menu in all files that are generated from the template?
    I wanted to do this, but failed. So, I would appreciate your tips
    if you have done that successfully.

    I have. It's so troublesome, awkward, and arcane, I don't
    suggest anyone
    use these menus.

  • Is it possible to create a new Substitution String?

    Hi,
    my question is:
    Is it possible to create a new Substitution String?
    My problem is, that I need a side with three level of tabs.
    But in Apex there are only sides with two level of tabs.
    And when I create a new template to create a three level of tabs side i need a substitution string for the third tab level.
    Does anybody have an idea?
    Thank you,
    Tim

    Hello,
    No but you could build a list that looks just like your tabs and use that as your third level tabs just use one of the region positions to position the pseudo list tabs.
