Is it possible for your application to be aware of another application's state?

I am wondering if it is possible to build your Mac Application to be aware of another applications size, location and the user's interaction with it?
For example would my application be able to know Safari's location, size, and if the user has pressed the back button?
I am a new developer so I am not very knowledgable about Objective C or XCode but I am learning and want to thank everyone for there help in advance.

If you update your iPod to iOS 5.1.1, you'll be able to restore the iPod to a backup from any iPod with current or older software.

Hello Everybody.
I'm developing an application that will gather statistics in Live Streaming transmissions.
For that, I'll get bandwidth use and RTCP packets so I can put in a graphic packet loss and other relevant data that are put into RTCP Packet.
I wanted to know if it's possible for JMF to monitor an existing stream (not created by the Java program), so I can use in my application (Java-based).

The problem is the the parent type is Packet, but different than the one, that in this case is used by the JPCAP. :(Like I said, JMF has the code in there to parse RTCP packets. But they aren't a peice of JMF you're supposed to be using. You'll just have to hack and slash to try to get something working with it. ;-)

As has been said, the iPhone itself can't be hacked this way, as far as anyone currently knows.
Your Apple ID is another story. Any kind of online accounts can be hacked, and Apple IDs are no exception. If someone hacks your Apple ID, they could see all the data in the associated iCloud account, such as contacts, and could send those contacts texts that would appear to come from you. If that were to happen, you should see an alert on your other devices that your Apple ID is being used with Messages on a new device.
If you have not seen that alert, it's unlikely that this problem is occurring due to such a hack. In that case, it would be more likely that either someone has gotten their hands on your phone, or some other Apple device registered to your Apple ID, and has used it to send that message. Or that the person claiming you sent a picture is lying for some reason.
If you believe your Apple ID may have been hacked, you should change your password immediately (at appleid.apple.com). You should also seriously consider enabling two-factor authentication on your Apple ID.

When you do an add contact, you don't need to add the contact, you can view their profile when found. It should be noted, that information is controlled by the Skype user of what is public and what contacts can see as well.
There is no database about Skype users, that is the information available.

Ugh I am not doing any of those things.
I do have alot of issues with my email getting hacked often, could that have anything to do with it?
I also do not believe my phone is jailbroken but to be honest I am not very smart with this.
Basically text messages (inappropriate) were sent to a person in my contacts...and a text message conversation was had for about 30 that I had no idea was even going on. I noticed it on my ipad later (they are synced and normally recieve all the same messages etc). The conversation then just ended out of no where.
Very odd...and I am nervous that someone has control over my phone.

I connected it to my G5 but when I start up iChat and click on the green video camera icon at the top right, I get a new window that just says "your camera is in use by another application". I don't have other applications running. When I click on the preferences button at the bottom of that window I get another new window with some options for microphone and bandwidth limit. The iSight is not even an option for microphone.
I tryed the iSight on a MacBook Pro and a iBook, it works perfect on both so I don't think there is anything wrong with the iSight.
A few months ago I tryed to run a mac compatible logitech camera on the G5 but couldn't get iChat to recognize that camera either. I wonder if did something that is coming back to haunt me.
I downloaded the latest updates for my iChat, tried all the basic stuff like removing the logitech software and restarting the computer...I am running out of ideas...Help, please. How do I figure out which app is "using" the iSight?

I have a new imac 21.5", 3.33ghz, 4gb and I was wondering if it is possible for me as admin user to handle camera downloads automatically with Aperture, and my wife as second user to use iPhoto as automatic camera destination? Any comments would be appreciated.

If you want to use the same account there are a number of possibilities:
1. Set both Aperture and iPhoto to Do Nothing when a camera is connected. Then each one can launch their preferred app themselves. It's just one extra click.
2. Use [Cameras|http://www.flexibits.com> to configure what happens when different cameras are connected.

Possible for JRockit Mission Control to Monitor Multiple Web Applications

I have some questions regarding JRockit and Weblogic Server.
The JRockit Mission Control allows users to monitor JRockit JVMs.
If a JVM runs a Weblogic server instance which runs a couple of web aplications, is it possible to monitor individual web applications separately?
If it's possible, is there any kind soul who can guide me through the process in setting up.

You can use *"wlnav.war"* which is freely available on net. to monitor Servers along with some of the Application attributes like application state/ Session count/ ...etc
"wlnav.war" actually uses WebLogic MBeans to get the details of the Server and Applications...Same thing we can do using our own MBean JMX Codes as well... But still these JMX codes will not be able to tell exactly that which object belongs to which Application.

No. On the Z97A Gaming 6 the MSI logo is simply chrome looking. On Gaming 7 it is indeed backlit. Reason is that this feature is only available at higher class boards like Gaming 7. Z97A Gaming 6 is basically a Z97 Gaming 5 with USB 3.1.
