Is it possible the RV320 block some external ip address only to some IP on my LAN ?

i have been blocked in firewall rules some external IP address but it will applied for all computers on LAN.
I would to know if is possible do it for only group of ip or vlan?

When you select the Source and Destination address you should be able to select Range. There is no option to select a VLAN.

Why is a number appended to the volume name on external hard drive, only in path?

Last week I replaced a failing external drive. Using Disk Utility I partitioned it into two volumes, named them CCC and Warehouse (Warehouse is the problem). I had never had any volumes named Warehouse previously. In Finder the name shows correctly, until I click "Get Info", where the name is shown as Warehouse 1. All of the files on Warehouse show their paths as /Volumes/Warehouse 1. I don't know when the " 1" was appended to the name, or how it happened. It's screwing up my applications that write to or from the volume, the path is wrong. When I'm in Warehouse's "Get Info" I try to change the name back to Warehouse, but it immediately goes back to Warehouse 1. I copied everything off the drive, repartioned using the same names, and still have the problem. I notice if I change the name to something totally different, like "Fish", I don't get that problem. I would prefer to keep the name Warehouse though, if possible.

I have noticed that the system can "hold onto" a drive name when there's a disconnect from the external volume.
Try this. Eject your external drive. Go into Terminal, and type
Cd /Volumes
Do you see a phantom "Warehouse" volume still there? If so, navigate into it, make sure there are no files you might want to keep (copy them elsewhere if so), then navigate out and use
sudo rm -rf /Volumes/Warehouse
See if that fixes it.

Best way to block specific external IP addresses

I'm using an ASA also and I've been blocking IPs for some time now and it has really tapered off ( now I'm just watching the "hit" counters tick up) - I check the geographic location of the offending IP and if it is from a region of the world that we wouldn't interact with anyway, I block the entire range of IPs... mostly China and Korea and Russia. Fast forward several months and I rarely block an IP any more as most of the offending IPs have already been blocked. Of course this strategy won't work for everyone.
Any way you accomplish this task is going to require you to add the addresses as they pop up on your radar so I don't see how GPO will make your life easier, you'll want to block at the perimeter anyway.

Every week we get a list of known Malware IP addresses. My boss wants me to block these addresses so I was wondering what the best way to do this would be. We have a Cisco ASA and I know I could create a network object for each IP addresses and select block all access. But is that the best way. I think another option might be with a GPO and a hosts file. Any other ideas. There are usually 30-50 IP addresses listed at least every week. Any other ideas or a better way to accomplish this? Thanks.

Why do the folders on my external sparse drive only open in icon view?

Even though I select list view, the next time I open a folder it is always in icon view. The "view option" in the View pulldown menu only shows a box for Always open in icon view and the "Use as Defaults" box is greyed out. This problem does not exist on my iMac internal drive, only on the external drive on which I have created a sparse image for security purposes.

I followed exactly what you advised, and it all worked. I did convert the files first that were .AVI ---> .MP4 (the audio and video came out beautifully when viewed). I organized my files around a bit, and then I went into Itunes---> Preferences---> Advanced---> Changed where I want to grab my movies from. It keep all my previous music, tv, movies, podcasts files that I had in ITunes, and just "added" the new content without disrupting anything in my Itunes at all. I LOVED IT...so simple in the end.
The files did take a while to convert, but I only had to do the ones that I had that were labeled ".AVI". The program, HAND BRAKE, allowed me to set up a "batch" and I had them converting during the afternoon and into the evening.

Since whenever I open my Itunes, all the movies display well, and so my APPLE TV can now view all my "content" in Itunes. I thought I was going to have to return that APPLE TV since I couldn't figure a way around it, and all in all, it wasn't all that bad of a process to convert and then change file location in preferences.

Urgent Help! How can i execute in the same block diagram two separate labview codes each one with diferent execution timings?

I have 2 application progrlams in the same block diagram. the intention is to use the 2 programs at different excuting time for different application, and each have stop and start button ofcourse i will have master stop. But when i run the program, it only works one program at time , that is the 1st block which i make it active only , when i tried to make active the second block it will not work, only works when i stoped the1st one. So, this it to request ur hlep how can i solve my problem. here i have attached some of my program.

Usually you set up a task that has all the channels from all the modules configured. When a loop starts it reserves that task and the cDAQ can't be used by other loops unless you start and stop tasks.
You can have one loop acquire all the data and if you want certain channels to go to other loops you can use the producer/consumer design pattern. If you wanted a third loop you would add another queue and the third loop would dequeue that data. See attached.

How to hide some folders in a woprkspace from some external users?

We manage a workspace that has both Internal external users. We have a requirements in a way that external users can only see some folders they have access to. What is the best way to accomplish.
I reviewed an article in "How to" section which describes how to use ACLS to hide some folders from certain users (https://beehiveonline.oracle.com/External_06_howto.html).
But this process is cumbersome as we need to go to exh folder and revoke permission for selected users. And also if we add any new folders to the workspace that folder will default be accessible to the external users also. We want by default any new folders do not have access to this group of users except the ones we provide access to.
How can we do it?

Base the same block on different tables

Hi all. I'm on devsuite 10g. This is my scenario: I have made a form in which the user can build his owner table, making a join with two tables. When the user creates this table, I insert then name of the table created into another tables, which represents the list of the user's tables. Now I want to create a lov based on this tables and making visible the data of the table the user has choosen. The problem is that I want to use the same block and it must change only the table that every time is taking the data.
How can I solve this??

Help in getting the Read receipt in external mails ( like yahoomail , gmail

Scenario : We are sending notification mail to our external vendors for example abc.hotmail.com. We expect a Read acknowledgement to ensure the external vendor has gone through our notification generated from our SAP system. Point to consider is the two mail servers are different, sending mail server is configured to Outlook where as the receiving server will differ each time.
It would be better if anyone lets me know whether SAP ensure that we get read receipt (
acknowledgement) from other mail servers also?
Steps followed are:
Process 1: Using the function Module: SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1
Populating the fields:
    wa_receivers-receiver   = <External Email address>.
    wa_receivers-rec_type   = 'U'.
    wa_receivers-notif_read = 'X'.
Passing this structure to the Tables parameter: Receivers.
However the read receipt is not obtained.
Process 2: Using the class and the method:
cl_send_request_bcs=>create_recipient_from_soos1
The structure is getting populated as:
        recipient_soos1-recesc = 'U'.
        L_recipient_soos1-recextnam = < External email>
        l_recipient_soo1s-read      = 'X'.
Also passing:
I_requested_status = u2018Au2019.
I_status_mail = u2018Au2019.
CALL METHOD send_request->set_status_attributes
            EXPORTING
              i_requested_status = i_requested_status
              i_status_mail      = i_status_mail.
However the read receipt is not obtained.
Basis Settings:
SCOT->Settings->Confirmation of Receipts -> the first option is checked.
However still we are not getting the read receipt. The Delivery receipt is obtained but not the read-receipt

When you pass values to
RECIEVERS
for Delivery reciept : notif_del = 'X'
for Read reciept : notif_ndel = 'X'
Try shceduling the report : RSCONN01 with default job name : SAPCONNECT ALL SEND
and check if this helps.

Do you mean you can send message to other external domain, but when you reply a message from external user, the NDR information generate? If so, I recommend you post the detailed NDR information.
When you send message to external domain or reply a message from external user, the DNS MX record for external domain will be solved. If you receive a message from external domain, your MX record will be solved.

My mac book pro was stolen, i had not backed up time machine on an external hard drive, is there some way i can retrieve my files ? (does the computer save to the internet possibly or the I Cloud ? )

My mac book was stolen and although i had time machine i had not backed up to a current hard drive because that was also stolen. I was wondering if there was some software that allowed me to access my old computer somehow, does it save your files to the internet or to some external system manually ? obviously i know this is unlikely but i thought i would check as the computer had all my work on it.

I try to warn people, that TimeMachine drives tend to get stolen along with everything else.
To make and store bootable clones offsite or in a safe or something.

External USB hard drive won't reformat, won't appear in Finder, error: Unable to write to the last block of the device message

So I just got a new MacBook Air and since I had an external USB hard drive (TOSHIBA MQ01ABD100 1TB) lying around, I decided to use it for back-up. Since I only have just the one hard drive, I decided to partition it into two - one for Time Machine backups, and one for general files (formatted FAT so I could use it with Windows). However, the partitioning failed and I ended up with a partition named disk1s2. Plus, it won't appear on Finder anymore, but it appears in Disk Utility.
I have tried to reformat it, but I always get the message "Unable to write to the last block of the device".

I didn't have any data in it prior to the failed partitioning attempt, so there aren't any worries of data recovery. But I'd really like to be able to use this drive again, and save some money (external hard drives are expensive where I live). Anyone with any ideas?

I'd also like to add that repairing the disk using Disk Utility does nothing but tell me to reformat the drive. So I'm stuck in a loop here.
