Is it possible to activate an ipad without an internet connection on my mac?
I have got a macbook pro with iTunes 10.1.2 (17) and an micro-sim card with a iPad 3G data plan, so I can use it directly with the iPad, but I have to activate the iPad at first.
I have NOT any internet connection on the macbook pro (because I am actually traveling). So do not recommend to go to the next Apple Store etc.

Yes, I can. But it costs $30 for 10 MB (minimal use) at the hotel. Just to compare: a 3G data plan with 3GB traffic costs $50 monthly

The purpose of the AirPrint system was to permit printing directly from iDevices to printers that are AirPrint enabled without going through an intermediary device. The catch is the printer must be an AirPrint enabled printer. The iPad's apps will then recognize the printer and print seamlessly. First, changing your DNS settings could not possibly have any effect on this problem.

If you intend to use your iPads data plan then that will require use of the tethering/hot spot feature. As I said, you will not be able to use airplay, that needs a wifi LAN (home network). This may change with IOS 8, but won't know for sure until the release.

How to activate Photoshop CS 5 without an internet connection?

I have had my second activation of Photoshop CS 5 on a backup computer that has no internet connection. I needed to change the operating system (Windows 7 Home to Windows 7 Professional). I called up Adobe, and told the technician that I was de-activating CS 5, reformatting the hard drive, then I was going to re-activate Photoshop. He gave me a case number so that the next technician could easily understand what I was doing and what I needed.
The first time I installed Photoshop on this backup computer, I contacted Customer Service. The technician had me do several things to get to an activation screen. I gave him both the serial number and an installation code. He then used them to generate a unique activation code, which I typed in to activate Photoshop. I had Photoshop on that computer, working, for a year.
I called on August 30, after the re-formatting and installing the new operating system, I called Customer Service to get help re-activating Photoshop.
The first technician said I could not reactivate Photoshop.
The second technician said it could be done, but not at his level and he would escalate the case, and someone would call me.
After no calls, I tried again on 09/05. I was transferred to the manager. He said it could not be done, but he would escalate the case to the "expert team," and that someone from that team would call me "tomorrow" (09/06).
Along the way, one technician said I did not need to reactivate Photoshop because when I called about deactivating Photoshop, that technician assigned a special number that would obviate the need to reactivate. How did my computer, off-line, and my software, on a proprietary disk, know that number? Magic? No, not magic, it just would!
Unless something has changed and I do not have to activate Photoshop on computers that are off-line, I need to activate Photoshop.
How do I get help after 12 days of trying?

Thank you . . . I do not get an option for Offline Activation. When I did this a year ago, the Customer Support technician gave me a keyboard shortcut that got me to a screen where a response or installation code was generated. Then he gave me the activation code. I have no problem going on-line and entering a installation code and getting an activation code . . . I just cannot get to the screen where I can get the initial code.
Despite having now 3 case numbers related to this, each Customer Support technician starts at the beginning, only to discover 30 minutes to 3 hours later that he/she does not wherewithal to do this and must escalate the case. In the 2 weeks, no one has called me. I wait the appropriate 24 - 48 hours (yes, not counting weekends or holidays), and the next technician starts it all over.

I just upgraded my WIFI only new iPad to iOS 6 and as soon as it finished the install it lost connection with my wireless network. It recognizes the network and I can even inter the password, but then it says unable to connect. How do I fix this issue since I cannot even exit the setup for iOS 6 without an internet connection?
When I upgraded my iPhone 4s today to iOS 6 I also noticed that it is also unable to connect to my wifi, however, my laptop, playstation, etc connect just fine (its not a router issue).

I am also having this exact problem. I am unable to connect to my FIOS wifi router (which I usually have disabled) but am unable to connect to my Netgear WG102 Access Point - with WPA2 or no security - I get the same error message - unable to connect
Apple.....I think you guys have F#$%ED up with whatever you did. All my other devices on IOS5 work, but my IOS6 devices now do not work with Netgear.

Turning On Airplay Mirroring on iPad 2 crashes router Internet connection

Using the new Apple TV 2 firmware 4.4 in combination with iPad 2 (iOS 5).
Apple TV 2 connected to Linksys E4200 router via Ethernet cable. I can stream movies over the network (USB-HDD
connected to router with router built in UPnP AV server). Samsung Series 6000 Smart TV.
- AirPlay working great from iPad 2 to Apple TV and everything else iOS 5 is also no issue.
BUT
When I turn On Airplay mirroring on the iPad 2 I can see the blue bar on top of the screen
indicating mirroring is On but only after a few seconds the blue bar disappears and the Internet
connection is gone for all users on my network.
I have to go in the router settings and reboot router in order to establish Internet access again..
I've gone through this 5 or 6 times now and I can single out the mirroring for the router crash.
Mirroring has not worked once.
Weird! Anybody?

It's was a router QOS setting.
Steps:
1. Login to your router
2. Click on Application and Gaming
3. Click on QOS
4. Disable WMM Support
5. Done
Mirroring working great now on my AppleTV!
