What country are you in, and did you follow the instructions on that page exactly for creating an account i.e. you selected a free app in the store and clicked on 'Create Apple ID' when 'buying' it ? I've just tried it and I got the 'none' option.

An iTunes account can only be used in one store at a time, and you need to be in that country with a valid billing address on your account for that country in order to use it there. An email address can only be linked to one account, so if you want two separate iTunes accounts then you will need two email addresses

I have cracks in my iPhone 3G housing, and i'm aware that it is a case for a replacement.
Can i go to an apple store without a genius appointment and get a sales advisor to look, and relpace if Necessary?

As Jason said, it's highly recommended that you make an appointment. You might get lucky and hit a time when there's no one waiting for a Genius (in my experience the Sales Associates can't make determinations on warranty repairs, particularly not for something like a crack), but it's not likely and you might have a wait of hours or even be told to come back another day (if all their appointment slots are full). So make an appointment; you'll probably have a shorter wait.

If you already have an Apple ID, you can easily use it at the iTunes Store or Mac App Store. You already have an Apple ID if you bought something at the Apple Store, registered your product online, or used the My Apple ID page.
