You can do it without any problem, but make sure you put the memory horizontally, so you will get the advantages of the Dual Channel. You can buy the memory in OWC or Crucial to make sure you have a compatible memory

Yes, I was aware of this but the phrase "Any items imported from audio CDs or acquired from other sources will not copy from your device to the iTunes library." is what worries me. Will this eliminate my Notes, Calendar Events, etc or will it apply mostly just to the music?

I seriously doubt that this is possible. I think when you get this kind of option on a DVD, the audio and video streams are encoded separately and you run the language of your choice by choosing it from a menu.

If you click the magnifying glass on the top right, you can get list view which shows all upcoming events. Not sure if that's what you're looking for, but worth a shot.

At the moment in using PSE10 Trail, and the maximum amount of frames i can see that i can use is 19, is it possible to add more???

You can use all of the frames in the content panel. After arranging your collage and clicking done, you need to save the file as a PSD file to preserve all the layers that were automatically created.
Then open Full Edit and click:
File >> Open
Then navigate to your PSD file.
If you open the layers pallet you will see that each photo in your collage has it’s own individual layer.
Select one of the layers (highlight it) then choose a from the content tab and click apply.

Sure, you can do that on the server side. Assume you have a stream named foo that is recording, you can do something like:

When played back, the client side function "myCuepointFunction" will be invoked on the stream's client property (or, in AS2, you'd need a function on the netstream object named myCuepointFunction).

I am trying to draw a line from x1, y1 to x2,y2 and i want it to be a line that repeats a pattern from an image. All I can see is that you can only draw lines and change their color or thickness but I would like it to repeat an image. Is that possible or do i have to use a really long and thin rectangle with a bitmap fill?
The problem is I am making a game where the user will be able to actually draw the line so i have to make it be created dynamically.
The game fantastic contraption (www.fantasticcontraption.com) has in the game a feature where you draw lines of any length and position that are filed with a picture.

I just threw together a quick proof of concept for the last technique I described...using some similar to the branch image from that earlier link. The swf is attached. Just click around the stage.
I didn't get too sophisticated here.... so no mouse dragging of the circles etc although that would be easy to add in.
Once its drawn via the drawing API its basically just the native renderer that get's sluggish with the animation updates if you add too much. All the bitmapdata transformations are being done at the native level for the updates, but it can get quite cumbersome/cpu intensive if you put too much on stage. I suspect it might be faster under these conditions if the drawn content was vector data, because you can loop through thousands of drawing commands very quickly.
BranchBitmap is a library bitmap set to export on frame 1 with BranchBitmap as the class name.

In the App Store write-up on this app, it said that one could "Use bookmarks to jump directly to a section in your PDF file." But I don't see how one can add such bookmarks. Do they only mean that you can use bookmarks that were already in the document before you open it in Adobe Reader?

Any updates to the OP's question? I'm with a large government agency, and we're moving away from GoodReader for reasons I can't go into here, and the ability to add user-defined bookmarks within the app is a mandatory feature for the document reader we select. I have the latest version of Adobe Reader (11.6.1) installed on my government iPad, and the ability to add user-defined bookmarks still seems to be missing. Does Adobe have any plans to add this feature, or is it already present and I'm simply overlooking it?

Possible to check in Java, if if a package is already in the jar-Cache?

I have an applet, that has only one main.jar in the Cache-Archive parameter.
Because I wanted to reduce the preload-Time, since 1.4.0 I use an index.list file, listing
the rest of jar-Files needed for my applet. So the jar-Files will be only
downloaded to the time, they are needed, if they aren't already in the jar-cache.
The Problem: If the applet needs a new jar-File, that isn't in the jar-Cache, it needs
time to download the package. But the user doesn't see that something happens.
Is it possible to check with JAVA in the applet, if a package is already in the jar-Cache?
If i know this, I'll be able to show the user that the applet is currently downloading a package.

Add segments to an idoc already in the database?

I have a requirement to add segments to idocs that are already in the database. I had hoped to use Function Group EDI1 to do so, but the FM EDI_SEGMENTS_ADD_BLOCK only works for creating idocs from scratch. There is a FM EDI_CHANGE_DATA_SEGMENTS, but it appears to only allow changing segments that already exist, not adding new segments.
How would you handle this one? This is the first time I've been tasked with adding segments to an idoc OUTSIDE of a user exit during create, and I'm unsure how to proceed.

Each call of the function module 'EDI_SEGMENTS_ADD_BLOCK' inserts a block of data records into the IDoc. In each case the EDI interface records the current position in the IDoc and appends the block of records at the end.

What is the proper way to add 16GB ram to the existing 8GB in my 27" Retina iMac?

I've searched the web for the best answer to this question: What's the best way to add 16GB ram to the existing 8GB in my late 2014 Retina iMac (ending up with a total of 24GB ram)?
I'm seeing conflicting and ultimately confusing advice. Most people are saying to just pop in the new 16GB (2X8GB) into the 2 open slots and you're done. Others are saying no, remove the 2 4GB sticks, replace those now empty slots with the 2 new 8GB sticks, and put the 4GB sticks in the remaining 2 slots, which viewed from the bottom would be 8,4,8,4.
A third option (to make things even more confusing) seems to be keeping the 2X4GB and 2X8GB sticks together, side by side, so that viewed from the bottom you'll see 8,8,4,4 or 4,4,8,8.
I have no idea which configuration is best: They all seem to "work" according to those advocating their method. I want to know what Apple recommends, if they indeed have a preferred method.

Crucial. 16GB 2X8 204P SODIMM PC3-12800 MAC to be specific.
The OEM RAM is in slots 2 + 4 from the top, at least in mine. BANK 0/DIMM0 and BANK 1/DIMM0.
A little background: I installed new RAM in the slots last week when my new iMac arrived, in the open slots, 1 + 3 from the top. I then started up for the first time and installed my account from Time Machine. So far, so good. About 2 hours into my first day usage I started getting random crashes. By day 2 I'd had maybe 15 crashes and a dozen kernel panics. I removed the RAM and re-seated it. Same problem. I created a new user account, thinking maybe I had some corrupt data. Ran fine for a couple of hours then BOOM same problem, again. Removed the new RAM and presto, no more crashes, going on 4 days now. I returned the RAM to the vender, requesting a replacement in the hopes that I just had a bad stick (even though I ran TechTool 7 and found no problems... which struck me as weird).
So now I'm a little bit concerned about using the best, most Apple-approved method for installing the replacement RAM when it arrives. I'm not exactly a newbie. I've read things in the past about it being important to install RAM in a specific order, but it's been a while since I've had a new Mac, and things change. I want to be careful, but it sounds like it doesn't matter a whole lot. My fingers are crossed, not that I'm superstitious.
