Is it possible to add a caption on each photo of my album Iphoto ? Thank you for your help.

By album do you mean a book? If you mean a book then the answer is only if you use the one theme that provides a text box for each photo, Folio, which only has a 2 photos per page layout.
If you want to add text directly on the photo you would need to use a 3rd party image editor or a watermark application.

When you take your selected Photos from Library to WEB is it possible to have a different caption for each photo. If I select 1 photo from the import and change its caption using the caption popup in the "Image Info" pane all the image captions change even the unselected ones.
How can I change individual photos so that they will have individual captions in the web gallery?

You should change the caption metadata field in the Library module. Go to the Library module, select the image you want to change the caption on, in the right panel, scroll down to the metadata section. Make sure that the popup to the left of metadata is set to "default" and you should see the standard metadata. Simply type your caption here. Then, if you've done this for all your photos, go back to your web section and make sure you set the caption popup in the image info section back to "caption", which will use the info in the caption metadata field for each photo automatically.

After a picture is dragged to a day on my calendar the date disappears, is it possible to add or restore the date? I am using the latest update of iPhoto.

The photo in the calendar replaces the date. You can ctrl-click the photo and add a caption to show the day number.
Clicking the disclosure triangle to the right of the caption will show a panel where you can edit the font (all this tested in iPhoto 9.5.1), but it does look funny, you'd be better off by not adding the day number:

Hi,
I am creating a web gallery within Bridge and I want to add a title and caption to each image in my web gallery. How do I do that? The only thing I see is the Site Info. section and that adds a title and caption to the entire web gallery (including each image) and I want different titles and captions for each image. There must be a simple way to do this I just haven't figured it out yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks Curt Y for your help. The thing is I have to use only Bridge. I looked up this problem on http://www.experts-exchange.com/ and they said it was not possible to add titles and captions for individual images (slides) in a web gallery in Bridge. They seemed to imply that this was overlooked. So I input what I could based on what was provided by Bridge and turned it in. Thanks to all who viewed and replied to this post. I appreciate it.

Hi Vinnyvg, thanks for your answer but I'm still in doubt.
We already know what you're saying, the caption appears in both modes, but what we want to know is how to make it appear ONLY when the gallery image is expanded to full screen (as you can see in my example).
Unfortunately, I can't do a check because the example is from a downloaded book and the images are screenshots of the iPad.
It seems to be no options in the inspector to do it, but clearly it's a gallery, not an HTML widget within another widget, because when it's expanded only appears one X to close it.

Add a Caption Under a Photo

Using Elements 9, how can I add a caption with names in a blank white space under a photo of a group of people?

One way is to use the Crop Tool to add add more space under the photo.
(i used a sample photo from the pse 10 samples folder)
1. Select the Crop tool and set the background color in the toolbox to the color of the added space you want.
I used white in the screenshot below.
2. Draw the Crop area around the whole photo.
3. Pull down on the bottom middle handle and then hit the green check mark.
4. Use the Type Tool to add your caption.

I have previously struggled to paste a caption under a JPEG photo for my web site by increasing the canvas size by an inch or two, entering the text in the space below, and then cropping off the additional space above the photo. Do you have PSE7? In guided edit there's an action for adding canvas beneath a photo, in the Action Player.

Go to your photoshop.com website. Log in if needed. Click on "Online Tools." Choose "Photoshop Express Organizer." Click and drag photos into the order you want.
Captions might best be added in the Elements Editor Organizer (99jon is correct) by double-clicking on thumbnail to make a full screen image, then a line appears under the photo and asks you to print your caption there. Sync it with your online website.

Ios iphoto "add a caption" removed if photo exported why ?

Where outside iphot can the captions be viewed
- I've synced a photo folder from itunes to my ipad.
- Worked on them all in iphoto so they are edited and given them each a caption
- Now to get them to my computer I've decided to copy to camera roll.
- I've reopened iphoto and it updated the new photos in camera roll but it has WIPED the captions.
I have seen the same if I try to export to itunes then reopen in iphoto on ipad.
What is the point of using captions in iphoto if you cant save them in any other app and read them. They are not saved in the EXIF or IPTC info of the image, as I've looked at that in Photoforge2.
When will iphoto for ipad get an update its workflow needs tweaks to make it amazing, it doenst need a re-write.
I really want to love this app stop making it hard to use it just isn't apple.

Apparently captions are used only in iPhoto. Not sure why.

I'd like to select multiple photos with similar qualities (under or overexposed) and apply my adjustments/enhancements to all at the same time. Is this possible?
Or, is it possible to copy and paste the last effect used to a newly selected photo?

I created a flash with different photos and I want each one to stay on the stay for about a minute before moving away.

Can I print a contact sheet that includes the caption for each photo using Photoshop Elements 13 for Mac. I previously used Photoshop Elements 6 for the PC and could do this.

I just switched to a Mac and installed Photoshop Elements 13. I previously worked with many years with Photoshop Elements 6 on a PC where I used the contact sheet function -- with each's photo's caption included -- to print print a collection of 400+ member photos for a club I belong to. This worked beautifully. I assumed I'd still have this ability with my new software, but can't figure out how to do it. Help.

Try using psd. Some rerports indicate some confustion between the apps with TIFF. See:
