Is it Possible to Add a Power Pivot Gallery App in Office 365

Hi,
I had created a site collection by using Business Intelligence center Template in Office 365(E3 Subscription).
But I am not able to see Power Pivot Gallery App to Add.
I tried to find and activate any feature depends on this. But could not find any
Is there any way to Add?

Power BI is the o365 equivalent of the power pivot gallery in on-premises sp.
It's an extra opt-in addon (more $) to the regular o365 subscription -

Is it possible that you have imported data from SQL Server into an Excel worksheet and then created a Power Pivot model from that data rather than importing the data directly from SQL Server into Power Pivot?
In the PowerPivot designer, click the Existing Connections button on the Home ribbon to verify the source of data for each table in your model.

Can't save power pivot report back to power pivot gallery...file is read only

I have developed an excel pivot report in a power pivot gallery (all in 2013).
Next time i open that report from the power pivot gallery and attempt to save it again to the gallery
I am blocked with a msg: we cant save http://........./powerpivot gallery/myPwerPvt.xslx file is read only.
To keep your changes you'll need to save the woorkbook with a new name or different location.
Please help!

When you try to edit the PowerPivot workbook, are you open it as read-only mode? Please see the screenshot below:
The "Read Only" mode will not be able to save any changes to the workbook you are loading.
In addition, is it work for you while you save the PowerPivot workbook with a new name?

Display Power Pivot Gallery on a page?

Using SharePoint 2013, I am trying to put the Gallery view of a power pivot gallery on a web page. I would like to do this so that I can have a couple of other web parts displayed on the same web
page. Thinking this would be pretty straight forward, I tried the following:
Use the list view web part to display the gallery view of the library. This didn't work, it just displays the list as if it were a standard document library. No Siverlight control was
rendered.
Copy the Gallery.aspx file from the library. Give a new name. My initial try of this looked hopeful but even though the SiverLight control rendered, no content was displayed.
Obviously, this isn't something that is supported out of the box. I'm wondering if anyone has done this and wouldn't mind sharing the steps.

Refresh power pivot gallery report on open

Hi
I know a pivot table report could be refreshed againsed the SSAS cube it is based on open.
Is there an option to force a refresh of that cube also on opening the report in the power pivot gallery??
I am only aware of a manual or scheduled refresh of report's model data sources.

The best solution would to buy a new graphics card that can support 2 inputs. Certain applications/tasks (like video editing) don't handle 2nd card well. So I have never ran a PCI card for my second monitor. You'll have to specify what you intend to do with your graphics card for better recomendations of cards that just aren't overkill for your usage. All of my systems use Dr bott connectors & I have never had a problem with them. Depending on what card you buy you may need one or two of the ADC to DVI connectors on the site. Best of luck

Power pivot gallery excel auto data refresh 401 error

we have big farm, there a lot reports which is designed through power pivot, and those files are placed in power pivot library and scheduled it to daily refresh, but we are observing 401 occasionally twice in a week for random reports,
if we keep the same two copy of same file one get refreshed another get 401 error

thanks i was referring to an automatic refresh while the excel report opens, before user has any interaction with it.
Apparenty the classic pivot table option in excel works in sharepoint's excel services just the same!

Possible to add shortcuts to iPhone native apps?

Just wondering if it is possible to add shortcut buttons to the iPhone. So for example, I could just press a button on the Home screen that would take me directly to Contacts, for example (instead of having to go through Phone to get to it).

Can't add images to announcements in SharePoint-hosted app in Office 365

I tried something very simple:
Create a new SharePoint-hosted app
Add a new list to the app, based on the Announcements template
Deploy the app to my Dev site on Office 365
When I now add a new item (aka a new announcement) and try to add an image to the Body field, I encounter two errors (depending on whether I try to add an image from my Computer or from SharePoint)
Adding from my computer gives me an unexpected error:

For inserting any image from you computer to you App web, you need to create a separate picture library in your app web manually i.e. in your SharePoint hosted app add a new list item, under list settings window choose "create a list instance
base on existing list template" and in the drop down select
picture library. Now deploy the app and try again.
Generally when we insert any image from our computer to a SharePoint rich text field, the image gets upload in one of the document libraries, but this option is not available in the newly created app web, as it doesn't contains any separate library..
For you next error, make sure that in the app manifest you are providing
read access on the web, this will resolve you second problem.

I am working on C# project for migrating emails to office 365. I am setting Mime Contents for EmailMessage Object and saving it to Office 365. But its not able to add images in email body.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to add more than one email address to existing user in SharePoint Online.
We can add a new Property for user profiles in SharePoint admin center to achieve it.

How to customize the landing page of Power BI application in a Office 365 Site?

Hi,
While we navigate to the Power BI application by clicking the icon from the Site Contents of a Office 365 site, everything is loaded in it.
But we would like to customize / edit the page, so that all users will see the contents we put in.
We are SCA / having Full Control on the site but we have limited options in the Power BI application.
Please provide pointers on how to Edit / Customize the application.

Essbase Retrieve add in 9.3 Compatibility with Microsoft Office 365

Our organization is looking to move to Microsoft Office 365. Is there any compatibility issues with the Essbase retrieve add in version 9.3? ; We also use the In2Hyperion Essbase Ribbon version 3.3. I checked the certification documents, but they do not mention anything about Office 365. I appreciate any assistance with this issue.

Most Office 365 uses cases and users end up with Office installed on the desktop and at that point we are talking about normal Office Support. Short answer is that Smart View does not support Office 365 Web Apps and there are no plans to support the Web Apps.

I have clients asking if it's possible to print KM metadata; updated by, updated date, and so on to MS office documents so this data is displayed in the document header or footer.

Hi Henning,
You could implement a content filter or a repository service (which then could alter the document when it is being saved / updated manually by some user).
The main task will be really to alter the document. In general, you have the possibility to use http://jakarta.apache.org/poi/hwpf/index.html - but that isn't too stable. An alternative would be to use an OpenOffice installation on the server and it's API, through which you can open even MS Word files and alter them, saving them afterwards again within MS format. But that API is really hard... (I have touched it several years ago, maybe it's more intuitive in the meantime, but I wouldn't expect that).
