Is it possible to add a timer for inactivity in a folio? Go back to the home screen in folio?
I would like to be able to add a timer on folio pages that will go back to the home screen if iPad left inactive. Any ideas on how to make this happen in InDesign CC?
There isn't a way to do this with DPS.

iphone has been in recovery mode for 4 hours and hasn't come back to the home screen and how can i fix this and get it back to working order?
the iphone 4S has been in recovery mode for a long time and i have tried to press and hold the power and home buttons until the apple symbols comes on the screen again but it stay on the screen until the screen turns off and doesn't come back on to the home screen and have tried to sync with mac and doesn't do anything it does display the itunes and cable icons for a while but then goes back to the apple symbol and doers nothing what can I do to fix this and not loose what is on the phone at all?Hi, simonRM.

Every time I open an app it reverts back to the icon screen
Every time I open an app it reverts back to the icon screen after a minute or so, sometimes almost immediately. Any ideas about what is going on? I have both wifi and 3G so I don't think it is an Internet problem. Thanks!
Try a hard reset first. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If still no luck, try downloading and installing a new app from the App Store. Doing so has cleared the issue up for several users.

When using my ipad air it keeps coming off the page I'm on or app I am using and going back to the home screen. Also when using my ipad the screen will go white with a black apple icon in the middle for about 20 seconds then it makes a ping sound and goes to the home screen. Could anyone help please. The phone button on my iPhone 3G no longer works. Everything else on the iPhone works fine. I can receive incoming calls. I can make calls directly from Contacts. But if I press the phone button I get a blank white screen for a few seconds then it goes back to the home screen. I've tried the hard reset and also restoring orignall settings via iTunes but keep getting the same problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?

To be clear (because I mistakenly typed black instead of blank in the title to this thread): If I press the phone button I get a BLANK WHITE screen for a few seconds then it goes back to the home screen. I doubt it's the SIM card as I can receive calls and make them directly from contacts. What I can't do is view my favourite numbers or missed calls or access my voicemail, i.e. all the things you get to via pressing the phone button.

Hello, so today I realized that my iPhone with iOS 6 is frozen on the music. I can get back to the home screen but I can't get the music player to work because its frozen on the w's and will not respond to touch. I would be grateful for any help on this.

When I pull the notification screen down after about 5 seconds the screen goes black and then the apple appears for about 30 seconds and then returns to the home screen, this is an iPhone 4 running ios7 , any ideas??
One problem though, the top button on my phone is jammed so i cant power off the phone, anyway of resetting the phone without using the top button ?

my ipad has been crashing. it will happen at random times with random apps. it will turn black, apple logo appears, then back to the home screen. i have reset it. ive sent it to apple and they couldnt reproduce the problem and they sent it back. it was fine then it happen twice this morning.
Make Sure iOS is updated to the latest version
Reboot the device by pressing and holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons (power) at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings -
My iPhone says that I don't have enough storage to update one of my apps so I went to delete stuff that I didn't need but every time I select what I want to delete my phone freezes, goes back to the home screen and doesn't delete anything.
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

I am haveing trouble with the calandar view on an iPad first gen. the month of March will not display , no matter how it is asked for the device drops out of calandar and defaults to the home screen. all other months display. Any fix suggestions welcome.
Try removing any all-day events from the calendar for the 1st April 2013 e.g. if you are syncing the calendar from somewhere else (e.g. Outlook on a PC or iCal/Calendar on a Mac) then change it to a timed event instead of all-day (if you don't sync your calendar from anywhere then try going into list view, go to 1st April and change any 'all day' events to times e.g. change Easter Monday to start at something like 4am) - it seems that there is a problem with all day events on that date which is when the clocks change due to daylight saving on the day before.

My ipad air sometimes opens a program, then immediately closes an returns to the home screen. Often will take me 2 or 3 times opening the program to get it to stay open. This does not happen with any particular program. Happens randomly.

What you are describing is that the app is "crashing". You may notice that some apps do it more than others. To try and fix this, cycle the power. To do this, you want to fully turn the iPad off.
Hold the sleep wake button down.
The iPad should say something like, "slide to turn off". Do that.
After the screen is not grey, and completely black... wait 15 seconds, then turn your iPad on again.
This should resolve your issues. -
