I am signed in at cloud.acrobat.com. I searched acrobat standard to see if it had the headers & footers functionality available. I got to PDF writer | Adobe Acrobat XI Standard subscription and signed up for a monthly subscription. This page told me I could "work from anywhere", but I guess that refers to a limited feature set...

Does it run regular Windows 8 (allowing you to install the same apps as older versions of Windows in the desktop) or does it run Windows 8 RT, where only apps from the Windows Store are allowed? It looks like regular Windows 8, in which case you can try out the free trial of Acrobat Pro.
If it works, the Acrobat SDK (separate download) has all developer information on Acrobat, and you need it (give up any idea you will find code ready for use on Google...)

Possible to Add Visual Communicator to Creative Cloud Suite?

Is there any possibility to have the Visual Communicator product added as a choice within the Creative Cloud suite as it would really help with what I am doing to have access to this product through subscription rather than buying it seperately?
I would love to find out if this can happen.

Is it possible to add a "prior" year after the application is deployed?

We have created and deployed a HP application (EPMA, version 11.1.2.1), but find out that we need to add another year before the first year we have right now, e.g. currently we set the "start year" as FY10 and find out that we need to add FY09 to the application. Is it possible to do? Please kindly help!

Without hacking which is not supported and not advisable then the answer if no, the cleanest way is to export everything out with LCM, recreate the planning app, import.

I'm afraid you can't do that. The LabVIEW 7.0 application builder only supports adding the VISA serial port driver to the application builder installer.
You will have to install the VISA support for USB separately by using the VISA 3.0 runtime installer.

Acrobat Help | Add headers and footers to PDFs

The problem is that when Acrobat adds a header it does so in a OCG (Optional Content Group) with a fixed, pre-defined name ("Headers/Footers"), and so it can only edit (or remove) that specific one.
I agree it would have been much better to use a dynamic OCG name ("Headers/Footers1", "Headers/Footers2", etc.), and then allow the user to select which one to edit/remove with a simple dialog window. Maybe you can suggest such a feature to Adobe here: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

Most of the PDFs I generate are from other applications (like Autocad) where I "print to PDF" to create the file.   Most of the PDFs I recevie are generated the same way.   Prior to Acrobat Reader 8, it was simple for me and my collueges to exchange information on these PDFs by using markup tools and resending them with markups.   Since Acrobat 8 has come along, I now find it impossible to markup a drawing (no matter if I have created it using Print to PDF or if someone has sent it to me). I went to the knowledge base and see that the drawing has to be enabled for markup in one of 2 ways
In an open PDF, choose Comments > Enable For Commenting In Adobe Reader, and then save the PDF.
Start the wizard to initiate a shared review or an email-based review and follow the on-screen instructions. When you’re finished, commenting is enabled in the PDF that you specify for the review.
Well, there is no Comments selection in my toolbar.   Second method is given by
Quickstart: Start an email review
An email-based review lets you track review status and merge received comments into the PDF.
Click Review & Comment and choose Attach For Email Review.
If prompted, enter your identity information to create a reviewer profile.
Follow the on-screen instructions to select the PDF, invite reviewers, and send the email invitation.
If your email application doesn’t send email automatically, you may need to answer alert messages and switch to your email application to finish sending the message
But there is no Review & Comment button to click.
So, can someone tell me, can I still do a simple markup of any PDF?   Even if I have to jump through hoops can I?    I guess I can understand Why Adobe has done away with this feature in their free tool, as they were not getting any revenue off of it, but it greatly diminishes the usefulness of Acrobat Reader and therefore all PDFs for me.

To enable this right you need Acrobat, not the free Reader.
However, starting from Reader X it is possible to add simple markups to any file, unless it has been specifically disallowed by the creator of the file.

In order to distribute forms requesting signatures, you may use the following Adobe products:-

Add the bookmark by coding with Acrobat Standard 9.0

I adds the bookmark by the Acrobat SDK, the method is OK in the ACrobat 8.0, but in the Acrobat Standard 9.0, it's NOT steady, sometimes it's OK,
but NOT always.

I have just purchased acrobat professional 9. I need to scan multiple documents and can't. The hide scanners native interface is grayed out and I can't change it to "show scanners native interface". Can someone please help. I have a newer dell photo 966 all in one printer.

Adding add-ons to Acrobat 10.0.0

How do i add add-ons to acrobat 10.0.0? The reason I ask is because i cannot see .doc documents in the browser to merge multiple files into one PDF file. I can do this on another 32bit XP machine with the same acrobat 10.0.0 installed. The only difference between the two installs is the amount of addons installed.
I've installed the ''Adobe Acrobat 10.0.1 Pro and Standard update - Tier 1 languages'' update but I'm not 100% sure what that does. I'm unsure whether to try installing ''Adobe Acrobat 11.0.02 Pro and Standard update - All languages'' (the latest update from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows)
There is also something at the bottom of the above mentioned page under a title called 'ADD-ONS' called ''Adobe Customization Wizard XI'', again, I'm unsure which one to install.
I've also tried allowing it to update automatically but the setting keeps reverting to 'do not auto update'.
Any help would be appriciated.

Dates to iCal 2 is a replacement for Apple's birthday calendar for iCal. It has a range of features to allow the user to choose what, and what not, to sync to iCal from Address Book.
As well as automatically syncing birthday dates from Address Book, Dates to iCal 2 can sync anniversary and custom dates. It can set up to five alarms for each date in iCal and can also set different alarms for birthdays and anniversaries. It allows the option of only syncing from one Address Book group. Not sure where it would go on the back, but no the system is closed. There is no place to insert a graphics card or attach it. You will find some hokey stuff on the internet where people say you can plug a video card in the wireless card slot but those are a hoax at worst and at best they do not tell you that such a thing would not even perform as well as what you have and is likely to damage the motherboard.
