Is it possible to add item description in the Alert screen in sap b1

Please see the attachment for the alert screen that gets generated every time an item stock goes beyond the minimum or maximum level. In this screen is it possible to show the item number AND the item description so that the alert is easily understandable? (instead of drilling down into the item code to see each item which is what we are doing now)

Its a default system alert query that you had made active, you need to define a new alert to get desire.

Is it possible to add a user using the RESTful Web Services SDK

Others have asked before about user management features in the RESTful Web Services SDK. However I can find no answers or links which provide an answer to the question 'Is it possible to add a user using the BI 4.1 SP2 RESTful Web Services SDK'?
Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, not possible. The BI RESTful can only get "stuff" that is already there. I suppose this would fall under some sort of "Object Creation" API and that is not there. Yet. Rumors abound, but nothing firm. Just as a BTW.; the Business Intelligence platform RESTful Web Service Developer Guide 4.1 is here:

Is it possible to add a Graph in the Teststand Labview OI

Is it possible to add a graph to the Labview OI so that data can be passed up via the sequence context? Would posting a UI Message be the right way to trigger the graph to update? I'm not sure how to do this since the graph is not a UI control.
Has anyone done this or is better to just pop-up a graph in a sequence step?

I have not tried this, but one way you could do this is by running the VI with the same version of the LabVIEW run-time engine that the OI was build with. The LV OI will load the run-time engine initially. When TestStand runs the test VI, it will try to first load the run-time engine specified in the adapter configuration. If the specified version is the same as the version used by the LV OI, it will used the one in memory. Since TestStand and the OI share the same run-time engine, creating a queue in the OI and populating with the VI run by TestStand will theorically work. Like I said, I have not tried this, but I am assuming it will work. The key is to make sure the LV version used to create the LV OI executable and the VI are the same.

Where is the B1 field that contains the ITEM DESCRIPTION in the ecommerce

Is there a place in B1 where we can put in the ITEM DESCRIPTION?
I lookever all over but I don't think the ITEM description in the ecommerce side exists in B1.

Mike, I think you might be referring to the Part Name (which is really the description), "PartsMaster.PartName," from Web Tools. If so, the matching field in B1 is Item Name, "OITM.ItemName."

which SAP release? FS10N does not support the functional area selection on the selection screen. ECC 60 (new T-Code FAGLB03 ) does in SAP standard. Guess its time to upgrade

My client has completely revised the item master. So about 1000 items are needed to be removed from the item master. As it will be tedious to remove it one by one from SAP, first I tried doing this in the test database.
What I did was using a query I deleted the items groups wise as a bulk. But if I try to add any one of the deleted item back again with the same item code it is saying that the item already exists even if it is deleted from SQL. How to add the items?
There must be a solution for this.. Experts please help me ASAP in this situation.

It clearly says that the items already existing. I think you only delete from the OITM table, but items not only stored in this one table. Of course there are many other tables like ITM1..ITM9 or the financial tables.

I have a scenario for sale of cars with certain items such as tool kit given along-with the vehicle. I would like to enter this material directly in delivery and carry out the PGI with posting of value in COGS A/c and reduction of stock. This item need not appear in the billing document also.
I think this can be achieved through configuration of item category. Would like to have more ideas on the requirement.

hello, friend.
yes, you can enter an item directly in the delivery. if this item will be given free, you can specify item category TANN in the delivery as well.
if you wish that this item not appear in the billing document, then you can define your own item category (using VOV7) that is not relevant for pricing, and not relevant for billing as well. make sure you assign this to the sales document for item category determination so that you can enter this directly in the delivery.

Hi, i'm searching a way to automatically add a word at the end of a certain paragraph styles?
is it something possible doing by using a script?
i don't script myself but if someone could find me a way to do this it would be really appreciated.
Here's an example to what i need to do:
i have paragraph style X in a current book document, and i need to edit the book and add the copyright source at the end of every line that has the style X to it
so i would need something that asks me
the targeted paragraph style
which word i want to append to it, and then apply it torough the document.

Yes, the screen shot shows where you got it wrong:

and set your paragraph style in the find format area
Change: $1XYZ
where XYZ is the text you want to insert.
.. you forgot the '1' right after the '$'. It's an important omission: "$1" is a GREP code, meaning "insert the found text, parenthesized group #1" -- and there is also a "$2", "$3", etc. up to "$9". It's great if you have to switch two, or even more, items around! But without the digit, the dollar sign indicates ... just a dollar sign.
Change the Change to text to
$1~S(CEMEQ)
and you'll be fine.

Adds selection field at the first screen of FBL3N (G/L line item display)

I would like to adds line item selection field at the default first screen of FBL3N.
The field I'd like to add at the default selection screen is :Amount.
This field can be selected at dynamic selection. But I'd like to use the field at the first screen of FBL3N, not in daynamic selection screen.
If anyone knows how to add the fields into FBL3N first screen, please advice me how to do it.

Hi,
You can not add the new fields in the selection criteria thats the reason dynamic options are given for the further selection.
If you still want to add in the selection screen then go for a customisation and coordinate with the ABAPer which is not suggestable as it is readily avilable in dynamic selection.
