Is it possible to add/remove photos in the default slideshow of the Apple TV?

I know and understand that you can use a slideshow of your own via Home Share but is there a way to combine both the Apple TV's photos with your own? Maybe a dedicated directory for them without using personal photos or something similar. For instance, pictures taken of your chld first riding a bicycle without training wheels. You want to obviously keep these but you don't want them in the slideshow. Is it possible to change this?
I'm running OS X Lion at the moment and Apple TV (2012) is up to date as of August 18, 2012 [I just tried to update Lion (including iTunes), Apple TV, anyway.].

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately that isn't possible. If you had access to the Apple photos you could create an album combining them with your own. I've heard they can be found on the internet but don't know where.

How do I add a photo to a pdf form via the iOS app? I need to fill out a form for work using field observations and photos. I can easily fill out the text portions of the form but I'm unable to add the photos from my phone. Is this possible?

Does the form have a provision to insert images (e.g. a Browse button)?

Every time I try to add something firefox doesn't want to add it as a search plugin. I need to create a more powerful search tool for personal use.

I've found some external software applications that will do it, so that leads me to believe its not possible within ID CC.

Is it possible to add a firewall Filter or Rule Set to the setting for the Extreme Router (802.11n) like the following:
"ALLOW TCP/UDP IN/OUT to 208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220 on Port 53" and
"BLOCK TCP/UDP IN/OUT all IP addresses on Port 53"
The goal of this is to create a firewall rule to only allow DNS (TCP/UDP) to OpenDNS' servers and restrict all other DNS traffic to any other IPs.
Or, alternatively is there a way to configure same applied to the Network preferences on IMAC OS X?

Sorry, I think you've got it backwards.
The concern is NOT that the child can make changes to our hardware/AEBS, or even our network software on my IMAC - nothing's been changed.
BUT, he changed the dns settings on his OWN device (ie chromebook) to google public server, accessed the AE using our home wifi network BUT bypassed our dns settings. Capeesh?

As Dah•veed said, you can delete an app on one divice, and still have it stay on another. The syncing only applies for downloaing apps when you have "Sync Purchases" enabled for the App Store. This goes for the iTunes, iBooks, and Podcasts apps as well.

Is it possible to set the default colours in the swatches palette in Illustrator CS4? What I mean is replace the swatches default colour palette with my own, so that each time I create a new document it comes up with my colours rather than Illustrators.

You might also consider using color groups with Illustrator. Let me know what you think. It may help you out with projects that use the same color preferences.

well i'm student and i have to write a program for school i don't know labview very well.

The button pass with datasocket so i can't use boolean and the problem is that the value must be set to 1 only for one cycle (one writing of the values). so when th people set it to 1 in internet explorer for exemple the value must be considered as a impulsion and as it is it always do a lot of cycle until the man set it manualy to 0 what i don't want.

Is it possible to add things to an iPad or iPhone without the use of iTunes?

My intention is travelling abroad for a year or two, and I don't want to take a laptop because it is too big and heavy. I have my iPhone, but I'm trying to decide if an iPad would be useful too. The problem is - because I wont have a computer with me, I wont have iTunes to add books/movies/music to either device. Is it possible to add stuff from any computer, and not a computer where my iTunes is set up? If the computer that I use (belonging to someone else) has iTunes on it, will my iPhone/iPad automatically try to connect and sync with that?

You can purchase and download content directly onto the device from the iTunes and App stores already on it.
You can use cloud storage (iCloud for apps that support it, or dropbox, box.net. google drive, sugarsync, 4share, etc) to move files to and from individual apps (things like pdfs, your own notes and so on).
You only need iTunes to backup really (although that is a very vital thing to do regularly, with any device)
However, to use a given store, you must have payment information and a billing address in that country associated with your AppleID. You cannot shop in a country foreign to your payment and billing address information. And your home store may very well be blocked (by IP address) when attempting to access it from a foreign location.

M92p SFF: Possible to add a 2.5" SSD boot drive in the 3.5" external card reader bay?

I recently bought a M92p Small Form Factor with model number 2988-A5U.
Is it possible to to add an additional 2.5" SSD as a boot drive while retaining the 3.5" 1TB SATA as the data drive?
I have searched many posts and datasheets on the internet but could't find an answer.

General 2.5" SSD to 3.5" SATA HDD caddy It came with screws that fit the new SSD, and the caddy fit the blue plastic carrier that slides into the 3.5" bay. This caddy properly aligns the connectors off to the left side, supports up to 6GBs SATA, and is even hot swappable.

Removing Photos that were manually added to the iPhone

So I had these photos in a folder on my desktop that I decided to manually add to the iPhone. I dragged the group of photos to the iPhone icon in iTunes and it worked. But now I want to delete them and I am not able to. Does anyone know how to take them out? I tried restoring and they are still there. Syncing, still there.

Thanks for your help Niel, but no, those suggestions didn't work. I manually dragged the photos from my computer desktop to the iPhone icon in iTunes. I did not take the pictures with my phone, I did not synced them from iPhoto either. I physically dragged them to the iPhone icon. Thanks anyway for your help.

Is it possible to add more data to a prepaid plan before the current data allowance is used up?

My data is nearly used up and I will b eon the road when it is completely used up. I would like to add more now so that I do not have to pull off the road to login and add more data to my plan. The website is very poorly designed and of it is possible to do this I can't find where it is. Please do not tell me to call the CS line like you have everyone else who has asked similar questions. If so please state that this is the only way to add more data to a plan/account as I don't have the availability to sit on hold for 40 minutes... Thanks

TSchlottman, we want that process to be as easy as possible for you. Happy to provide direction on how to change your plan. To change your minutes, text or data: Go to the Change Minutes, Text or Data page in My Verizon. If you have multiple lines on your account with separate plans, select the plan you’d you like to make a change to, and click Next. Select the data plan you’d like to have and click Next at the bottom of the page. Select the date when you want your changes to take effect and click Next. Review your changes and click Submit Changes.

Go to settings\General\About\Diagnostics and Usage\Diagnostics and Usage Data- scroll down the logs to the bottom of the list and check if you are getting many low Memory logs being generated. Also look for Sprinboard Logs which report crashes. A high number will indicate problems.
When a crach occurs next time, go to your home screen (probably will already be there if an App has crashed) and double Tap your home button to reveal the Apps in background bar. Hold your finger on one till it wiggles then tap the '-' icon in the corner of any Apps you are not using to close them down.
Try uploading/downloading your photos again.
if the problem persists you may need to either do a reset or a restore. Come back for details if your problem persists.

How did the photos/albums get onto the phone ?
Only photos taken with the iPhone or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the phone - either via the trashcan icon at the bottom right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it top right in thumbnail view. Albums that you've created directly on the phone can be deleted via the Edit button at the top right of the album selection screen.
Photos/albums that were synced from your computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from on your computer and then re-syncing
