Dear All,
Is it possible to add entries in button choice as following?
That is, add one line "Process Route Template" in the Button Choice "Additional Functions", then add three sub-items under this entry.
Can anyone help on this? Thanks.

Hi Peter,
It is not possible to have sub-items inside the button choice action items.
To achieve your requirement for MENU BAR ui element, in which you can add as many as sub-menu and menu action items.

Possible to combine Panther into one disk?

I own my own set of Panther disks.. I wanted to know if its possible to combine all three disks into one DVD? Has anyone did that or ever attempted to do so?
From Tiger onward all my disks have been DVD's naturally.

Even if the three CD images were burned to a DVD disc, the natural scripting which
runs at intervals during the original installation process may be asking for a second
CD when the image is already available; and so on. However, there may be a way
to work around that if someone is really clever or extremely focused.
If a DVD had three install disc images on there (seen on desktop as three CDs)
the natural script to' Eject disc 1 and ask for disc 2' etc; may be unnecessary.
However, this does get into an area where Discussions may be not the correct place
when the details may invoke some rule breaking; even if unintentionally directed there.
This does get into some speculative and perhaps 'end user rule' areas best left alone;
especially outside of ones secret clandestine laboratory in the basement? LOL.
Wonder if there's a USB flash drive method of making a backup copy, that'd work?
I'd hate to think the original, hard to find install disc set, would be lost or damaged.
Usually, a clone of the installed system is adequate; for one computer at a time.

Possible to add bookmarks from one computer to another?

Hi all. I posted this in the Safari Forum but no one has replied, so I thought I'd try here. I have one PowerBook at home and another at work. I use Safari on both. Over time, they have developed different sets of bookmarks, but I would like them to be the same on both computers. Is there a way to Import/Export from one machine to the other without either erasing bookmarks they don't have in common or duplicating the ones that they do?
(I'm now using Camino on one of the machines, and have imported the Safari bookmarks to it, but my question is still the same: Can I add the bookmarks from one computer to the other without erasing or duplicating bookmarks in the target software.)

I copied my Bookmarks.plist file to a memory stick and brought it to work today. But when I went to copy it into the Safari folder it said "A file called Bookmarks.plist already exists in that location. Do you want to replace it?" But of course I don't want to replace it, I just want to add to it. So unless someone knows of some obscure "Merge" command somewhere in OS X, I guess I'll just have to try Bookit. Cheers, all. GB

While downloading an eBook from internet, I found a book in a folder containing around 123 files, which is equivalent to the number of pages of the book.
My interest is to bring them together in one file so that I can read it at a time. As the interface is not comfortable with html, I also like to convert it into another more suitable file format.

Add more than one entry into a database from single form

I have a page that has 1 form that allows you to add 1 job.
I want to be able to have a button or something that says add
job and add another job.
When creating the database I did not create a table to hold
the order just add the job.
I am attempting to create a new version of the site with
order referencing job_id and customer_id so that a job can belong
to an order. And I can an order that has many jobs.
What is the best way I can do this and then I will need it to
be displayed on the invoice.
I also need to beable to create an invoice for the particular
job.
but that does not need to be done here.

How to: add images into an Interactive PDF

I was wondering if it was possible to add images into an interactive PDF once it has been sent to someone. The PDFs are forms that need to be filled by a client via their iPads using Adobe Expert, and they may need to occasionally attach images to the document and be able to edit these images (i.e. circle parts of the image to highlight them) then send these PDF's back to myself.
Is there a way this can be done?

There is no program on the iPad called Adobe Expert. I think you mean Adobe Reader.
Adobe Reader lets you fill in forms but not to attach images. If you wish to make a request of the Adobe Reader product manager, you can post on the Adobe Reader for iOS forum here:

Can we include all files into one SWF?

Hi, I'm new to Captivate 6 and having an OK time with it.
I've created a training project with Intro, Video Demo, Quiz1, Video, Quiz2,.., Quiz4, End
I can publish this to SWF or HTML5, but the video clips are always extracted as separate files.
Is it possible to embed everything into one file so that I don't have to upload too many parts and link them?
Like a big SWF?
All video files together make up about 60MB

The videos are already saved as MP4 (published from recorded Video Demos).
What Flash Player versions to you usually publish in, does that make a difference?

The iPad requires you first to define the object you want to email and then open a send-mail page. Thus, natively you can only send one attachment. I looked at the app store and Mail2List allow sending up to six photos at once. AceMail allows sending multiple audio files and photos. I could not find anything to send more than one document.
Also, please do not use all caps.

what you are asking of is a kind of Grouping?
If yes, you need to have a Grouping Trait, that stays common across the rows to be grouped.
Extending your example:

B     B                     D          If you do not have a Grouping Trait, then you can still simply merge the rows. To do this, remove the GRP column from Select and group by from above query; which I think answers your original question. However, would you want to club the data of entire table into a Single row? If not then you need a Grouping column (as demonstrated above).

2 Form Fields into one DB Entry

I apologize in advance if this question has been asked and answered multiple times. I am new to this and extremely frustrated because I keep getting stuck.
I am using Dreamweaver to create a website with Coldfusion as the server. I am using Quickbooks and QODBC to use the DB to integrate with CF.
I have created a form with multiple fields all text entries. I have been able to get all the information to post into my database correctly. However my question is I want to create a multiple entry that would combine two form fields into one column in the database table. For instance I have First Name and Last Name as form fields when the user submits I want these to both enter into their respective columns in the table but also combine into one entry with format Last Name, First Name into a FULL NAME Column in the table. Is this possible if so how????? Thanks in advance.

Can I put ALL my applications into one RAC database

Dear all,
Is it possible to share all of my workloads between a single RAC database or would it be better to run more than one RAC database on the the same cluster if they have very different characteristics (e.g. OLTP vs DSS or sensitive vs non-sensitive data). Oracle seem to imply that they have cut down their number of physical databases drastically but have they been able to do that because the workload is very homongenous, i.e all ERP stuff? Should it be possible to accommodate all workloads by having different instance parameters or does that defeat the object of being able to fail over a service from one instance to another?
Views/experiences please.

Hi, generally it is possible to put everything into one RAC database, especially if they share the same data. So you do not have to transport data from one database into the other.
Furthermore the resource allocation can perfectly be addressed with the resource manager of the database together with services. The workload has not to be homogenous.
However it might make sense to connect the DSS users to different nodes in the cluster than the OLTP users (via. services).
On the other hand there might be non technical issues which would make seperate databases more attractive. Like Patching could mean downtime of all applications. Like certifications of software, which would not allow you to upgrade your database, like ERP needs 10.2.0.2 while DSS would be better off with 11g) and so on.
There is really no right or wrong.
Still to get the most of the benefits out of a cluster the fewer databases you have.

To my surprise, it's possible to put more than one entry in /etc/defaultrouter. It's even documented in the man page and if you do it you end up with what looks like more than one default route. But what's does it mean to have more than one default route? Does the kernel apply some kind of heuristic to decide which one to use? Does the default route with no device get ignored?

What do you mean by "no device"? You have to have an IP destination or the route couldn't be configured. But that IP destination doesn't have to be currently available. Unplugging a cable doesn't take an IP interface "DOWN", nor does it modify the routing table.
If you need dynamic, failure-resilient routing, then you'd have to run a routing update protocol. The contents of /etc/defaultrouter are for static routes.
