Is it possible to add the assets to a tab and have a homepage?

Hi, i'd like to add assets homepage (as i have contacts and accounts), i see in the application customizatio i can define assets homepage layout, but in the role configuration i cannot add asset as a tab, is that possible? why do i define a homepage if i cannot use it?

Not possible at this time. I believe the homepage customization has been done for any future enhancements.
What we have done for our customers is provide a custom tab that will pull up a report for all the assets

The photo in the calendar replaces the date. You can ctrl-click the photo and add a caption to show the day number.

No, the reason is that iOS and OS X are completely different operating systems. Apps written for one will not work for the other.

Is It Possible to add the Actual Quicktime player to a page?

Does anyone know if it is possible to add the actual quicktime player that you see on your desktop to a page? I want to add a Quicktime movie to a page and still end up with the whole controller not just the little control bar.

To open the QuickTime Player (instead of playing your file in a browser window) is a feature of iWeb that is "missing". Maybe next version?

As an example.
You need to edit the iWeb created page code after publishing to do this work. It may be more work than you've planned because it does require a lot of "hand coding" to your "Published" HTML page code. And, because iWeb also uses special javascripts (.js files) to showcase your QuickTime file, you'll need to hand edit them also.
There is some freeware software (PAGEot) that can help a bit with the page coding. A Google search for it is easy.
Editing "published" pages is not for the faint of heart and may be necessary each time your iWeb site is updated.

I have been trying to retire 3 assets by ABAVN. After I try to simulate the posting, it says:
Posting of retirement/transfer not possible (error in the asset)
Message No.465
Diagnosis
An inconsistency was found for the asset 10 during the last recalculate values.
Posting was rejected,
Choose the function recalculate values in the master data maintanance transaction, and remove any inconsistencies.
My question is that what is the asset 10..is it the depreciation area? C's I haven't input 10 assets...only 3.
What is the recalculate values for asset master data maintanance? Is it the depreciation or other input to the asset master?

Hi,
I checked AFAR and found it would re-valuate 2 assets in 1999 and 2000 for depreciation area 10 (which is the tax depreciation). In 1999, the assets are retired partially. I am checking on the values AFAR calculated and find what happened that made it necessary to re-valuate the assets.

I run the AFAR but nothing is visible in test run.
I am defined the cut off key(5%) and assigned in to the dep key.
we run the depreciation for the last 5 months. some of the assets fully depreciated before lagacy data upload. in AW01N those assets showing the error message. Now that asset(fully depreciated asset) is transfer to another business area. then it showing that:
Posting is rejected.
Procedure
Choose the function Recalculate values in the master data maintenance transaction, and remove any inconsistencies.
Run the depreciation in AFAR means. in which period i can run.

Mac OS X uses the OpenOffice spell modules, so download the spell dic from OO site, you will get a file of the type name.oxt, change extension to .zip, confirm, then move the Library/spelling the two files named .aff and .dic. Then, go to Pages or any other cocoa app (TextEdit etc.) and choose Greek as spell language. See attachment.

1. In the explorer page, settings dialog, you can change the display format to show only name.
2. We cannot use other freeform attribute as DisplayFormat, rather than Code Name. So there are 2 option here:
a. Remove HierarchyName attribute and just use Name attribute. In the next release, we will allow give Name, Code attribute a displayname, so you can give Name display name as "HierarchyName" in the SQL Vnext release.
b. Make a Business Rule to update Name when HierarchyName is changed.

Hi,
In whatever scenario you want to create a dynamic UI element in a VC iView, you have to have an event, on occurance of which something happens dynamically. This event can be in the form of a button click or some value coming from a previous iView or page. But the important thing to note is that if you want something to become visible or invisble in your iView, the event to make this happen, has to occur in some other view.
For example, you can have two forms in an iView, make a button in one form, which when clicked passes something (say a number) to the second form. You can now make your input box or anything else in the second form. In the properties of this second form, you have the <b>visibility</b> field, where you can enter a formula, something like:
<b>BOOL(IF((@Status==1),true,false))</b>
Similarly you can make tabs in your iview, make the button in one tab, and do something dynamically in the next tab.

Lets say i have created one page "Page 1" under "Tab 1". Now i want the same page to be displayed fom another tab also.i.e. from "Tab 2" from the same application.I want to avoid creating copy of this page.
Such that when i am in Tab 1 and going to this page ,the newly created page should show tab as Tab1.Similarly if i am going to Page 1 from Tab 2 ,the newly created page should show tab as Tab2.
What can i do for this.

For Tab1 and Tab2, set the 'tab page' as 1 under 'current for pages' while you edit the tabs. This would add page 1 under two tabs, tab1 and tab2.

You can view any content that is in your iTunes library on the PC via the Apple TV if it is in the correct format.

I've always used PC and I'm planning on making the transition to Mac. That's why I'm considering buying an iPad. Today I went to Best Buys and the Mac guy told me that it isn't possible to connect the iPad to an Infocus and a remote for ppt presentations at the same time. Is that true?
