  • How to align text in Panel Box to the center

    Hi,
    I would like to align the text in the Panel Box to the center. Here is my code snipplet:
    +<af:panelBox text="22" id="pb8"+
    titleHalign="center" ramp="highlight"
    background="dark"
    icon="/images/warningind_active.gif"
    showDisclosure="false"
    contentStyle="height: 50px; width: 100%; horizontal-align:center;">
    +<f:facet name="toolbar"/>+
    +<af:outputText value="Update RFC with Approval Info"+
    id="ot8"
    inlineStyle="font-size:medium; font-weight:bold;"/>
    +</af:panelBox>+
    But it didn't work. The text "Update RFC with Approval Info" is still align to the left by default.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.
    -Mina

    You can't do it without panelGroupLayout. Try this way...
            <af:panelBox text="PanelBox1" id="pb1" titleHalign="center" ramp="highlight"
                background="dark">
                <f:facet name="toolbar"/>
               <af:panelGroupLayout id="pgl1" layout="horizontal" halign="center" valign="top">
                <af:outputText value="***centered***" id="ot1"/>
               </af:panelGroupLayout>
            </af:panelBox>

  • How can I place a text field not directly on the left of the page but with an indent to the right?

    Hi everybody,
    I try to create a form in which I want to enter several item under each other
    general info        Item 1               Item 2
                             Name 1            Name 2
                            Item 3               Item 4
    and so on.
    Since it is not possible to insert a table for something like that I would like to enter seperate text fields one underneath the other.
    But every new line starts on the left side and I do not see any way to move a text field to the right with an indent so that "item 1", "Name 1" and "item 3" are aligned the same.
    Can anybody give me a hint?
    Thanks a lot and have a good 2015!
    Oliver

    Hi,
    Insert a blank "Formatted Text" field on the far left, and shrink it down as much as you wish. Then insert your normal text field to the right of that.
    I hope that helps,
    Brian

  • Right align page numbers that are to the left of TOC entries

    I posted a similar question about a year ago that I believe Harbs or Peter answered, but darned if I can find the thread. At that time they provided a script that did a GREP search, finding a sentence that starts with a digit and replacing it with a tab. I still have the script, but for some reason it is not working correctly with my new TOC layout.It should insert a tab to the left of the page number (page numbers are to the left of the TOC entries), and force the numbers to right align so that a single digit page number right aligns with the right edge of a double-digit page number.
    Find: ^(\d+)
    Change to: \t$1
    What happens in the new TOC is the script finds a digit and inserts a tab to the left of the page number. The page numbers move to the right, but they don't right align. They are further to the right, but they numbers themselves are still left aligned.
    I'm mystified as to why the script doesn't work on this new layout. I'm using CS4 now, and it still works on the old layout. There is nothing terribly different about the new layout except that the column is much narrower, and there are several threaded colums in the TOC instead of one long column, and the chapter titles don't have page numbers (but all other entries do have page numbers.)

    Peter,
    Thanks for your reply. Between the page number and the entry is an en-space.
    I started with these settings:
    I then changed the left aligned tab to a right aligned tab:
    But still no luck.

  • In SharePoint 2013 navigation, is it possible to add a custom link only to the left-hand menu without getting it in to the top menu dropdown?

    If I want to add a custom link to the left-hand navigation menu In a SharePoint 2013 sub-site, it can be done by visiting
    Site Settings à Navigation section and adding the link under
    Structural Navigation: Editing and Sorting section. However, this will automatically add a matching link to the top menu as a dropdown.
    (Note that Global Navigation is set to “Display the same navigation items as the parent site” where “Parent is using Structural Navigation.” and Current Navigation is set to “Structural Navigation:
    Display only the navigation items below the current site”)
    Is there a way to just add a custom link only to the left-hand menu without getting it in to the top menu dropdown?

    also not sure what you're after, but try this

    import java.awt.*;

  • Is it possible to get text div to auto size?

    I created an empty text box div with width 0 and height 0. I would like it to expand to accomodate text assigned to it in code to fit in one line on the click of a button. How would I do this without pre determining the width of the box?

    I finally found how to change the css text properties of a text box (div) in the compositionName_edge.js file that Edge generates when you save the project so that the text box would resize dynamically something like Flash dynamic text fields that resize to the left depending on the text you give it in code.
    In the file look for id:'name_of_your_text_div' and under rect:[ the last 4 items should be set to auto].
    Then look for states object and under "${_name_of_your_text_div}" remove all styles execept top and left.
    I'm hoping that Adobe will eventually make it easier to do that in the properties panel.

  • Is it possible to add a graphics card to the back of my HP

    Hello  I want to know if it's possible to add a new graphics card to the back of a Laptop not inside of it but on the back of my laptop ???  my graphics Card is a Intel 4000 graphics card is a terrible for gaming TERRIBLE !!!

    Not sure where it would go on the back, but no the system is closed. There is no place to insert a graphics card or attach it. You will find some hokey stuff on the internet where people say you can plug a video card in the wireless card slot but those are a hoax at worst and at best they do not tell you that such a thing would not even perform as well as what you have and is likely to damage the motherboard.

  • Hi anyone help me? I can't get the texts of my emails to appear. It just shows the titles and senders etc. on the left it shows a two line preview but no text on right. Help!

    Help my email messages do not appear in the right hand side. Just the headings but no text at all. On the left the preview shows but nothing on right.

    Restart your iPad. If that doesn't work, reset it.
    Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

  • Is it possible to use tabs to right align text in Muse, as you can in InDesign?

    Can I use tabs to right align text in Muse, as you can in InDesign?
    I have a beauty treatment followed by a price and I want to right align the price, keeping the treatment on the left of the text box.
    Thank you!

    For what would typically be a two column tab stop layout, I'd generally use inline text frames and the Wrap panel.
    Put the price in it's own text frame. Then cut and paste the text frame BEFORE the item name so it's an inline text frame within the text frame containing the descriptions.Using the Wrap panel set it to float to the right. Then select it and set the right offset so it floats outside the right side of the original text frame.
    Start with this.
    Cut and paste the text frame at the start of the item paragraph.
    Choose the third icon in the Wrap panel to cause the item to float to the right of the text frame.
    Turn off the lock for the 4 wrap offset values.
    Adjust the right offset to a negative value so the item is outside the text frame to the right (to wherever you want it).
    Repeat the same steps above for the other items.
    Note that once it's set up this way you can freely edit the descriptions or change the width of the original text frame and the prices will adjust accordingly. This will also result in things lining up in the browser even if the text layout engine of a specific browser line breaks the text differently.
    This approach is tedious, but the end result will continue to line up as you make changes in Design view and will line up in every browser/OS/device.
    Someday Muse will support tables, which would be the more natural way to achieve this style of layout on the web. Until then, inline items with wrap is usually the best approach for this type of two column layout.

  • How to align text at the top and bottom of a cell?

    I'm making a periodic table and need help with aligning text at the top and bottom of a cell. I'll have a picture in the middle of the cell with text above and below the pic. Thank you in advance for any kind of suggestions you can give me.

    It sounds as though you want to have 3 separate items inside of a single cell; text at the top of the cell, text at the bottom of the cell, and then a picture in the middle of the cell.  I am no expert, but to my knowledge that is not possible (someone please correct me if I am wrong.)  I also cannot figure out how to put a picture inside of a cell itself.
    I do have a way to accomplish the end result so long as what you need is the final look and not a useable table in numbers.
    Create 2-3 cells for each element.  (The middle cell, unless you can put pictures in a cell and I don't know, would just be there for peace of mind, but would hold the picture if you can, I would just do two if the pictures are to be in front of the cell anyway.)  The top cell align text to top on the Text tab of the inspector.  The bottom cell, align text to bottom on the same tab.  Then place the picture in the middle.  Now, you have what you want except there is one or two lines dividing the cells.  To get rid of this, either click the middle cell if you have one, or the top or bottom cell.  Click on the Cell tab of the inspector.  Select the bottom border and/or top border button and select "No Border" under border styles.  To make this fast, select a full row at a time, or use command click to select all of the same type of rows (middle, top, or bottom) and change all cells at once.
    I hope this helps.  Best of luck!
