Is it possible to autopay using multiple credit cards?
I want to split the payment among different credit cards at the same time.

You'd have to manually make the payments to do that.
Verizon only allows autopay from one source, they do not have an option to have autopay taking out certain amounts from multiple cards.
I believe you can set autopay through your banking institution to do such a thing, I would call and find out.

Making purchases
After you set up your family, any time a family member initiates a new purchase it will be billed directly to your account unless that family member has gift or store credit. First, their store credit will be used to pay the partial or total bill. The remainder will bill to the family organizer's card. As the family organizer, any receipts generated by the transaction will be sent to you. Learn more about how iTunes Store purchases are billed.
Once paid for, a purchased item is added to the account of the family member who initiated the purchase. In other words, the content belongs to them, much as it would if you were buying them a book or a DVD. If Family Sharing is ever disabled, each member will keep the purchases they initiated, even though they were paid for by the family organizer.
These are the only current options for payment within Family Sharing.

For any order (free or paid), once it has been submitted and processed successfully, you may not need to worry about this order any more.
If you worry about this, wait for the receipt sent to your email address.
I don't use multiple credit card to make purchase so I cannot duplicate your issue. Sorry.

Thank you for allowing me to clarify. As it says in that article:
"When you initiate a new purchase, it will be billed directly to the family organizer's account, unless you have gift or store credit."
These are the only current billing options in Family Sharing. Using a second credit card is not currently an option.

Though you are being asked for card details it doesn't necessarily mean that the card will be charged for the purchase (unless you want to gift content). Have you tried entering your card's details to confirm the account ? You should then be able to remove it.

When making purchases, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits; your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance
Is it a new account ? If it is then unless a new account is created by following the instructions on this page (the instructions won't work with existing accounts) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
then you will need to enter card details (debit cards are no longer accepted in all countries) before the account can be used to download any item from the store.

Family Sharing - please allow multiple credit cards

My kids have their own credit cards, which they pay with money they earn doing odd jobs and chores. By using one credit card for family sharing, we lose the ability to help teach our kids how to be responsible for their purchases. I don't want to be their "bank", billing them for their Apple Store purchases made on my credit card. If I take them off of Family Sharing, I lose the benefits of the shared calendar, contacts, find phone, and albums. Please don't control how I teach my kids to be independent, Apple... allow multiple payment methods in Family Sharing.

Looking online at the Community discussion, adding multiple cards to one Family is not possible.

So my sister and I have our own separate iTunes accounts, and she has her set up with her credit card. She let me use her credit card on mine but it keeps saying the security code is invalid. Sorry, but there's no way to force the iTunes Store to use your credit card. If there's a credit balance available, purchases will be deducted from that first.

A debit card, if it can be used as a credit card, can be used to pay for anything online. If he's using his debit card to pay for his CC account then it is possible. The rep may have just been referring to using a checking account being a method that isn't possible.
He needs to stop using his debit card to pay for anything online as debit cards are unsecured so if someone were to acquire the card number they could clear out his checking account and your son would be unable to do anything about it.

Fraudulent transactions made using my credit card

Dear Best Buy customer service,
I would like to bring to your attention fraudulent transactions made on your BestBuy.com website using my credit card information. The transactions were made this morning, 26 February 2014, Manila Philippines time. I received a notice from my credit card company, Citibank Philippines alerting me of such transactions. Right now, as per Citibank, these transactions are in "floating" status.
Can you pls look into this urgent matter right away. And please cancel these transactions from your end. I have already permanently asked Citibank to block my hacked credit card number permanently, so I'm give you these infos below so hopefully you can track down these transactions
- date of transaction: 2/26/2014 (today!)
- approx. between 9am - 2pm (Manila Philippines time)
- merchant name appearing on my credit card account: BestBuy.com
- 2 transactions amounting to USD$992.82 each
- Citibank VISA credit card # {Removed per Forum Guidelines} (pls see my email sent to [email protected] for complete details)
These transactions made using my credit card are fraudulent!!!
I'm hoping you can take action on this matter immediately as these transactions can still be stopped and cancelled from your end at the moment.
