Is it possible to call a tclsh script from EEM?

I thought it would be best to create another discussion for this topic, as this seems to be a separate request altogether.
If I have a TcL Script on a scp server, can I call it from within EEM?
Something along the lines of this, although it's not working...

Found a dirty workaround. I'm still very interested in a better solution. I think the issue is having "exec" used in the tcl file I'm calling.

As is mentioned in the other threads, the Default.LGF is the basis for the Default.LGX, which is run by each application at the point data is entered via the Excel interface. This file may call other LGX files using the *Include statement. The logic runs in against the scope of the INPUT members sent via excel. I don't think there is an efficient method to only run an INCLUDE statement based on a specific SCOPE sent during the data send process. The entire logic runs during the send, regardless of the SCOPE. If nothing in the scope is impacted by the logic, the logic doesn't "inteligently" realize this and stop; rather is proceeds with the whole logic process and writes zero records.
If you ONLY want to run a specific logic package on a sent logic scope, the current process is via Data Manager, or include the logic in default (which still runs in its entirety)

You can call a dll or .NET assemblies directly from teststand, or use the "Call Executable" TestStep.

Is it possible to call a JavaScript function from a dialog?

At the moment I have created a dialog, that consists of three text fields that a user fills out, and then clicks next.
What I am attempting to do, is pass the result of these three textboxes to a JavaScript function I have laying in a file in Web Resources. I've done some research, and I can't find anything.
So my question is - is it possible to call a JavaScript function from a dialog?

It is not possible unfortunately. We can start dialog from script but not the other way unfortunately. However, you can always write server side code for this and it will surely execute. So instead of javascript, write plug-in.

The shell script test.sh is changing the access permissions for a particular folder on Unix server. The code is not exiting , and the acces permissions on the folder are also not changing.
If I execute the shell script directly , the access permissions gets changed on the folder. Please let me know the possible cause for this.

I haven't done this myself, but it seems like it is possible in Tomcat.
You can configure Tomcat to handle .cgi calls (it does this via a CGI servlet)

Once this is set up, theoretically you should be able to then use requestdispatcher and forward/include a cgi script to invoke the perl.

I have a customer using CRM 11.5.10.2 ( Database 9.2.0.6 / 6i Forms) and will be created a functionality in the CRM screen, where end user will call (via button) a custom application running on 9i Forms.
Customer believes that there is a technical limitation to achieve that. That is, call a 9i Forms from a 6i Forms.
Is it possible to call a 9i Forms from a 6i Forms ?

I should have thought so, as Forms 9i is exclusively web-driven, so how you launch the URL is immaterial as long as you use a supported browser. As your Forms 9i apps will invariably be on a remote web server, you'll not encounter compatibility issues either. And Forms 6 and 9 development is possible on the same PC using multiple Oracle Homes. Ask Oracle beforehand if you are still not convinced.

i have a shell script (msp_restore_gui) when i run this script in the command line in a RHEL5 ,SUSE10 and Debian machine it works fine .I even tested to call it from a java program and it also worked fine but when i used the same in a J2ee application where the user when clicks the restore button in a webserver this inturn sends the request to a java file named BackupManager.java where i call the shell script.But here it fails.Waiting for your suggestions.If you want i can put the code also here

Greetings.
Is it possible to call exit planning function from ABAP Report (t-code SE38) ? Or I mean is not limited only to be called from ABAP Report, perhaps from BSP / Web-Dynpro / Function Module.
If somebody here has been doing it before, I'm keen to ask to kindly share it. Particularly how to call and transfer data to that exit function.
Or if somebody has done in BPS, appreciate if it can be shared too .

You can achive this as suggested by Mattias in your previous post.
Lets say you have next data structure:
CostCenter | Amount | PercentForDistibution |
Create input ready query in this format. Restrict cost center by variable type range.
Create WAD with analysis item.
When you run web page you enter range of cost centers (lets say you will enter 101004 to 101010).
I assume you have data only for 101004 in your cube (lets say 1000).
You will see only one record in your webpage.
CostCenter | Amount | PercentForDistibution |
101004       | 1000     | NOTHING
When you create WAD in analysis item properties set "NUMBER_OF_NEW_LINES" to lets say 1 (so in WAD you will see always one blank line for entering new data).
Just add 6 new records:
CostCenter | Amount   | PercentForDistibution |
101005       | NOTHING| 10
101006       | NOTHING| 30
101007       | NOTHING| 20
101008       | NOTHING| 25
101009       | NOTHING| 5
101010       | NOTHING| 10
Then run planning FOX function like this:

Calling a SQL script from the PL/SQL block.

I am using oracle 11g database.
My requirment is as follows. I have a SQL script to alter the table. But before alter the table I need to test some condition , if the condition satisfy then I have to alter the table through the SQL script. For the checking the condition I have to use the plsql block and inside I need to call the SQL script.
Can I call a SQL script from PL/SQL block, if yes then how?
I am tring to use START, RUN and @ command but it is throughing error.

You could call the stored procedure in a SQL*Plus script before the alter table and have it raise an exception if the condition is not met and have the script quit when there is an error.
