Is it possible to change an existing PDF from brochure format (2 columns) to single page?

I have an old PDF, but not the source document. It is in two-column format, that is, two pages of text on one PDF page. I've tried converting to Word in Acrobat Pro XI, but that still preserves the two-column format. It's too big and complex to reformat in Word. I'd like to simply have each of the columns on their own page.

You can copy the page and crop the left and the rigth column.

Action not possible because change version exist

Dear All,
We are at SRM5.0- Extended Classic scenario and facing issues for changing some of the PO documents.
When the buyers are trying to change the PO, error is getting populated as 'Action not possible because change version exist'. This error is not allowing us to change the PO.
These POs are changed in the past and all the relevant changes are reflected to backend system with no issues. In other words Change Versions do exists for these POs. Flags for Change Version completion is also set and all historical versions can be seen but without change history.
Additional information -
1. No approval workflows are implemented for PO.
2. No locks are active for these documents.

well, actually the active change version won't be preserved in any case. It would be overwritten in the first scenario, and deleted in the second one. The reason why I'd like to have this "brute force" method is to face an eventual human error. Suppose that a disalignment between R3 and SRM has been created; my report basically "alligns" the SRM version to the corresponding R3 one. And suppose also that the user made a mistake so that the program must be used a second time. I'd like to provide a way to "UNDO" the first execution of the program, that is to say: i'd like to provide a way to OVERWRITE the actual active, change version, or alternatively delete the change version that the report did create the first time it has been launched.

Hi Frans van Meeuwen,
Do I understand correctly that you have a printed PDF and want to get it back on your computer as a PDF file? If so, you could scan that document, save it as an image file, then use Acrobat or Adobe PDF Pack to convert the scanned file to PDF. Some scanning software saves directly to PDF, and if you don't have a scanner, I'm sure you could have it done at a local copy shop.

HP Photo Creations offers several ways to print multiple photos on a page. Here's a link to some preset grids. If you don't have HP Photo Creations already, you'll be prompted to download the software. (It's a free download.)
You could also start with a "Design Your Own" collage print with a white theme.
This video shows some ways to print multiple photos in HP Photo Creations to make them easier to cut out:

Problem creating a PDF from the "print view" of a web page

When creating a PDF from the "print view" of a web page, the features in the print dialog box overlap. When the PDF is created, the words are garbled. e.g. words apppear as jzhhhxxf or zxihcj.

Use a job settings that embeds the fonts. If you look at the PDF, the font properties probably do not look correct and don't include embedded fonts. Also, set the printer to Adobe PDF before you try to do a print, so that the web page can try to properly adjust to the printer.
Why not just try opening the web site directly in Acrobat?

Is it possible to change an existing join in Plus?

In Discoverer Plus, is there a way to change a join in an existing report? Currently I only have access to Desktop (10.1.2.2), but if it can be done in Plus that might be something worth pursuing.
My situation is, I have a fairly complex worksheet where I need to change an existing join to an outer join. I can't change the join itself, in Admin - that would affect other reports that use it. I know in Desktop, if I remove all the items from the joined table (including calcs and conditions that reference it), then add them back in, it will prompt me for which join to use. However, in this case, by the time I remove and re-add all those items, I've practically had to rewrite the report.
I'm pretty sure that's what I'll have to do but I'm hoping someone will be aware of a workaround that I'm missing. If getting access to Plus will make things easier, it would be worth it.

I'm afraid you will fare no better in Plus either as the same thing will happen there. You will have to remove all of the items that use the existing join then as soon as you start to add them back in you will be asked to pick a join.
There are lots of good reasons to use Plus, this isn't one of them as the functionality, or lack of depending upon your point of view, is the same.

It's a little tricky to move data from one iCloud account to another but it can be done. But what makes you think you have 2 iCloud accounts.

Possible to change the business Partner from a created Contract in ICWEB??

I would like to know if it is posible to change the BP from a created contract in ICWEB.
I check the option "CONTRACT MANAGMENT" and there is an option to change the premise with the button "Move To Other Premise" but I don't find an option to change the Business Partner from a created contract.

Document size changes when creating pdf from jpeg

When I create a pdf from a jpeg file, the document size increases considerably. The native jpeg was saved in the "save to web" feature in Photoshop. I cannot find settings in ImageReady or Acrobat to make my document the correct size. Any suggestions?

Why not save the PDF from Photoshop directly? This gives full control
over compression settings. It will not, however, downsample so you
should do that first.

You can edit files that you've stored in your Acrobat.com online account, but you need to download them first. Log on to https://cloud.acrobat.com/files and select the file that you want to download, then click Download at the top of the file list.
Your file will download to the Downloads folder on your computer. To edit a PDF file, you'll need to use Acrobat (not Reader). You can download a free 30-day trial from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.

Adding changes to existing PDFs?

Hello all,
I have been looking for a solution to my problem for quite some time now but haven't been able to find it.
My company offers many online forms for our customers that are quite complex and include many (hundreds) different fields. Right now we offer the forms in DOC format but would like to change that and start offering PDF files. Most of our original files are stored in .DOC format and we usually just convert them into PDF interactive forms. However, these forms do have to be revised later on as the automatic conversion doesn't always include minor changes.
My question is, when I make small changes in my .DOC file, how can i update my PDF file and only include the latest changes? Kind of synchronize the .DOC and PDF file, is that possible? Of course, I could just convert the updated DOC file, however, it would take a lot of time correcting the 'new' PDF file which is obviously not the most efficient way.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance!

Yeah, the layout usually changes pretty much everytime whereas the PDF files shows the layout in exactly the same way everytime.Thats the main reason for us to switch to PDFs. Plus, they look sexier and have a couple more functions.

Is it possible to change the default PDF file name from 'LabVIEW Document.pdf'?

My application uses the 'Automatically print front panel every time VI completes execution' functionality to print front panels. When I have my printer set to 'Adobe PDF', a dialog pops up and the default file name is 'LabVIEW Document.pdf'. Is there a way to programatically set the name to something other than 'LabVIEW Document.pdf'?
I've already found a solution that manipulates the Windows registry, and I'm looking for another option.

The scroll bar (the one used to scroll up and down any kind of website), that is normally in the right part of the firefox browser, would be of much help to me if it could sometimes be moved to the left part of the browser. Is this possible? How can it be done? Can anybody tell me the exact steps to take in order to do this (if it is possible of course)? This would be helpfull to me, since I think that the firefox scroll bar is overlaping the scroll part of the facebook chat sidebar, since I just can see a few people on this facebook chat sidebar and I can´t scroll along it, as I could a while ago. So my guess is that the firefox scroll bar is covering the other. In order to solve it in a simpler way, I guessed that if the firefox scroll bar could be moved to the left side of the browser, this problem could be solved. So, can anybody help me?
