Is it possible to change Automated Attendants announcements in Unity 8.5.1?

I would like to change the standard AA announcement 'Please hold while your call is being transferred to ....' when a caller selects a call handlers option. I would like to notify callers they are being transferred outside our agency instead when the option is chosen.

No, that message (system prompt) is not customizable - you can turn it on or off with a configuraiton option on a per handler/user basis but you cannot customize the prompt itself.

The only announcements that CUCM hosts are those used by the annunciator
service. These are not modifiable in CUCM 6x.
However, since you are referring to an "automated attendant" (AA) I suspect
that you may be referring to either a Unity, Unity Connection, or Unified
Contact Center Express system. These are separate hosts that perform the
functionality you describe. Unity Connection can also run co-resident with
CUCM if you are using CUCM Business Edition.
First, we should find out what is hosting your AA. To do this, identify the
phone number you call to reach the AA. Then search for this number in the
CUCM. Go to Call Routing-->Route Plan Report. Search for the number.
You will see a "Type" column in the output as well as a "Route Detail"
column.
At this point there are plenty of variations. If you find that the number
is a translation pattern then you will need to go to the translation pattern
and find out what the number is translated to. Then go back to the Route
Plan Report and search for the translated number.
Another variation someone could have is a dummy IP phone that is configured
to Call Forward All (CFA) to another number. Find the CFA destination, go
back to Route Plan Report.
If the Route Plan Report results shows a Hunt Pilot, then it is a good
probability we are dealing with Unity or Unity Connection. If you find a
CTI Route Point then there is a good chance you have UCCX in play. However,
a CTI Route Point can also be configured to CFA to another destination. So,
to be sure you would need to check to see if the CTI Route Point is
registered or not. If it is registered, then it is likely UCCX.
OK. After some labor, we are hopefully to the point where you have
identified a registered CTI route point or a Hunt Pilot. If Hunt Pilot,
then you will see a list of line group members in the Route Detail (from
Route Plan Report). Target one of the line group members (you can click on
the Route Detail icons) and find out an IP address for the application that
is controlling the line group member. In either case, you have an IP
address. Connect to the IP address and find out what application and
version you are dealing with.
How you proceed depends on the answer to the above question.

Changing Default System announcements in Unity Connection 9.1.2

Dear Experts,
I'm setting up Auto Attendant and we have two language options, with different sub-menu's.
We have the recordings in male voice. And when I route the an Input Option (lets say '2') to alternate contact number (lets say extn 500), we hear the default announcement "Wait while I transfer your call", which is in female voice.
Please advise how can we replace this announcement with a custom announcement. Similarly for error and invalid entries.
Also, I need to play these announcements in different language depending on the language selection. how can we achieve this.

You cannot replace any system recording with your own, if you want them in other language, you need to install the locale.

Is it possible to change the message of the automated validations?

In APEX 4.0, depending of the type of item you create and the settings you put, certain validations are automatically made like a check on the date when using a Date Picker.
My question is, is it possible to change this message? Because what happens is, if I have a certain format in the way I formulate the message then those validations will be formulated in a different way.

To translate messages:

There are up to six calendar weeks that might be used to display the 31 possible days in a month.
So the month view displays six weeks.

Add a parameter for layout on selection-screen (p_varmm LIKE disvariant-variant).
As you are in backgroud mode, ALV will be printed with this layout (assuming you call correctly the MF ALV_LIST or REUSE_ALV_GRID)

Where it is possible to change this value?

Is is possible to change the hourly interval in the weekly calendar in 4.1?

Hi - using APEX 4.1 and having implemented a SQL calendar. All is working fine, but I would like to change the display of the weekly calendar to show 30 minute intervals, instead of 1 hour intervals. It's a little tricky to move data from one iCloud account to another but it can be done. But what makes you think you have 2 iCloud accounts.

Not sure if this is possible as never seen it myself, but is it possible to change the text colour in the code of the html?
A site I am building at the moment is for a school who want to be able to edit text / links occasionally, and as they will only be using something like notepad and have no html knowledge between them whatsoever, I thought if I could highlight bits in the code which are 'not to be played with' it would make everyone's job a lot simpler!

So, I have an HP Pavilion g7-1075dx Notebook with Windows 7. I'm an avid gamer and wish to play the newest games. However, there's one problem thats keeping me from doing so. Alot of the newer games require newer video/graphics cards. This particular laptop has an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250. The newest games seem to require ATI Radeon HD 4850 and above. This is the only thing thats keeping me from playing games like Starcraft II on the highest settings OR in the case of Star Wars: The Old Republic, it almost keeps me from playing the game, period, due to the graphics being too much for my current card to handle, causing massive lag. I was hoping I could change the video card. Upgrade. However, i've heard that with most laptops or notebooks you can't upgrade anything other than the RAM. I'm hoping anyone on here can help me out and tell me if it is possible to get a new video card for my laptop. We don't have a desktop computer so this laptop is my only hope for a long time to play newer PC games.

Since the late 2009 iMacs came out, replacing the hard drive has caused the internal Hard Drive Fan to start running at around 6000RPM.
This is due to Apple replacing the external Hard Drive temperature sensor with a proprietary firmware and using the drives internal sensor.
Replacement drives do not contain the firmware to deliver temperature data on the temperature sensor cable.
When the iMac does not receive a good signal from the hard drive it puts the fan at full speed to protect the drive.
If you replace your drive, your iMac will initially seem fine, but soon the fan will begin to speed up to full speed. Resetting the SMC (System Management Controller) will have a temporary effect, but again the fan will speed up.
Fixes people have used in the past included:
Using smcFanControl and the terminal to set a MAX speed for the fan and writing scripts to start this after every sleep/restart.
Shorting the temperature sensor cable (Not a possibility on 2011 iMacs) this tricks the iMac into thinking the drives temperature is very low, hence slow fan speed.
Both these fixes are less then perfect and leave the drive in a dangerous situation with no protection from overheating.
Another option people try is other Fan Control software. These programs will not work for this particular issue as they often only control the base speed, and if they do control the fans actual speed they rely on the temperature reported by the sensor which is now incorrect.
HDD Fan Control
HDD Fan Control works to fix this issue by reading the drives internal temperature using the S.M.A.R.T protocol and set the fans actual speed to a value good to protect the drive.
It runs at startup and continually to always control the fan correctly, prevent the loud fan noise and protect the drive from overheating
