If you mean the Modulation Wheel, then the answer is yes.
Use the "Automation Quick Access" feature. This lets you assign a single MIDI controller (i.e Mod Wheel) to control (and record) whatever the currently selected Automation Parameter is (i.e. FIiter CutOff, EQ, etc)

Butter Filter Cutoff Frequency?

Hi everyone,
This is a really basic question, by just needing confirmation.
When using the butter filter vi are the high and low frequency cutoffs absolute frequencies or normalised frequencies? I assume absolute based on the help information but the default values are 0.125 and 0.450 are very small, which might represent normalised frequencies..
So, if my signal sample rate is 2000Hz and I want to implement a bandpass filter between 20-500Hz, can I simply use 20Hz and 500Hz as my low and high frequencies or should I use (20/2000/2= 0.02) as my low freq and (500/2000/2= 0.5 Hz) as my high freq?

Possible to change active print preset across documents via scripting?

Hi everybody. I have a ton of documents that were created previously, and the default/custom print preset is selected any time I go to print them. I'm going to be printing them using a script, but I would like to change the active preset in each document to a new preset I have created for this job. Basically, I just need a script which I can apply at the folder level which will change the active print preset for the documents and save them. Thanks in advance for the help!

You should be able to open each document, and then set app.document[i].printPreferences.activePrinterPreset.

Changing filter cut off on M series cards

I want to sample 32 channels with the M series 628x series cards. But at the maximum sampling rate that would afford me a 15Khz sampling per channel. To avoid aliasing I need an analog filter at 5 KHz. The M series card only offers a 40 Khz filter. Is there anyway to change this filter's cutoff (-3db) to 5 Khz? Any suggestion is greatly appreciated, but I'd like to avoid building a 32 separate analog filters in front each channel.

Our customer has a PCI 6289 and he bought it becuase on the catalogue it said: "Programmable lowpass filter"

He wants to use the antialiasing filter option with a cutoff frequency of 1KHz.
The answer you wrote means that he cannot use any cutoff frequency, just 40kHz.
So , why it is written "Programmable lowpass filter"?
what is or are the ranges of the "Programmable lowpass filter"?
Why isnt documented on the M series specification?

List web part searching - possible to disable filter?

I have a list with 15,000+ items (don't ask, it's a requirement and it won't change) which we manage by using alphabetical filters A-Z. Everything works great, including the search - by using the filters and an indexed alpha column. The problem is that
when we have a filter active on the list, the "Find an item" search will only retrieve results from the FILTERED results list. Is it possible to change the "Find an item" search to only display results from the ENTIRE, UNFILTERED list,
regardless of what filter is currently applied to the list?
Normally I would imagine the default behavior is desired, but in our case, if a user is directed to the list via the "A" alpha page, they are then unable to search the entire list without going to the requisite letter filter first.
In other words, here's a typical use case:
User is directed to the list. The list refreshes automatically (via javascript) to the "A" filtered version of the list, because otherwise SharePoint 2013 displays an error message "Here's the reasons you can't see this list". We avoid
the error by displaying the "A" filter as the default page first.
User searches for "Blah" but receives no results. This is because they are on the "A" filtered version of the list, which does not contain any entries starting with "Blah". All entries start with "A" instead.
-We just want the search behavior to return results from the entire list, without the filter. Is this possible?

It is by default that the “Find an item” search box will search from the displayed item of current list and we cannot configure its search scope.

list’. “ ? Could you provide more detail about the error ?
Also for a workaround, you can create a dedicated search page for managing the list:
Create a webpage page “Manage List”.
Add a Search Box Web Part and a Search Result Web Part.
Edit the Search Result Web Part -> Change query -> In Quick Mode: set Select a query to Items matching a content type (System) , set Restrict by app to Specify a URL and input the url of
your list in the below input box, set Restrict by tag to Don’t restrict by any tag, set Restrict by content type to Item. -> save your configuration.
Then you can search the item of your list by inputting keywords in the search box.

Lowpass filtering an array of waveforms with different cutoff frequencies

I'm trying to take an array of waveforms and have seperate filter settings for each individual waveform. For example, I want to have a 2 hz cutoff frequency on my thermocouple inputs and a 100 hz cutoff frequency on a strain gage input.
When I try to accomplish this using the Butterworth filter (as shown in the image) I get weird results. The VI seems to be setup to only handle 1 waveform at a time. If I set the init/cont to F for init, the beginning of each waveform segment is reset to 0 which wrecks the data files. If I set the init/cont to "T" for continuous, the data is completely wrecked because the waveforms are interferring with each other. Clearly this VI is not setup for muliple instances (for use in a for loop).
There are the Waveform filters, but I seem to only be able to use 1 cutoff frequency for the entire set of waveforms.
In the subVI image below, I input an array of waveforms into a for loop with the settings collection for each channel (element in the waveform array). I pass the cutoff frequency to the butterworth filter with the Y data array from the segment of the waveform. Waveform data is supplied continuously (I need a live data filter).

You are correct (about the true/false on the cont/init input). Not sure I follow what the help is saying to do...
Is there anyway to verify the number of instanced "Filter Duplicates" are running? I'm still having a lot of issues with my implimentation and I'm wondering if I'm not initializing everything correctly. I've even added a button that should push a new re-initialization. I'm trying to have an interface that allows the user to turn off and on the filter while data is be aquired. Here is some of my code that I'm using to try and accomplish that, but after I've enabled the filter on multiple waveforms and hit my "re-initialize" button I still get bizarre data artifacts (like spikes) that would not be indicative of data on the other side of a low pass filter. Thanks for any additional feedback.
I've modified your Filter Duplicate to have an "Enable" feature so that the waveforms that I do not want any filtering of are just passed through.
I've tried to re-create the functionality of your Test multi-filter VI Server, but with the added boolean option to not have the filter performed:
So when "True" is on init/cont input the VI is re-open by VI server and the true signal propagates to the Filter Duplicate Asynchronous call. Here is a snippit from my main window call:

-I´m trying to acquire voltage analog signals by using a BNC 2110 and a bord NI USB-6251. Does anybody know if a programmable analog lowpass filter is available for NI USB-6251? If it is available, how can I set a value for the analog lowpass filter on labview?

-If there is no programmable analog lowpass filter for NI-USB 6251, so I will need to use the standart cutoff frequency "fc" of the analog lowpass filter (fc= 750 kHz, as mentioned in the user´s manual) for acquiring my signals. By doing so, it will be necessary to use a sampling rate of at least 1,5 MHz to digitize the signal, in order to avoid aliasing! The maximal sampling rate "fs" available is fs= 1,25MHz (according to the user´s manual). Besides, the duration of the signals which I need to digitize take about 25s. That would lead to a considerably higher number os data, and problems to open and save the signals in Labview! How can I solve this problem?

There are up to six calendar weeks that might be used to display the 31 possible days in a month.
So the month view displays six weeks.

Changing Filter Values from Macro in BW 7.0

in my Workbook I need to change Filter Values of some queries in runtime.
The first thing I found was BEx API reference for BW 3.5, but I wasn't able to make these functions work. After all I found this code:

Add a parameter for layout on selection-screen (p_varmm LIKE disvariant-variant).
As you are in backgroud mode, ALV will be printed with this layout (assuming you call correctly the MF ALV_LIST or REUSE_ALV_GRID)

Is is possible to change the hourly interval in the weekly calendar in 4.1?

Hi - using APEX 4.1 and having implemented a SQL calendar. All is working fine, but I would like to change the display of the weekly calendar to show 30 minute intervals, instead of 1 hour intervals.
