Is it possible to change size of selectBooleanCheckbox?

This is an ADF 11.1.1.3 application with a selectBooleanCheckbox in a Tree Table. The user is requesting a larger checkbox- the box itself, not the area around it. I have not found a way to do this. Is it possible?

I am afraid it is not possible to change the size of a SelectBooleanCheckbox in a supported/documented manner. I did have partial success using skinning and an undocumented skin selector:
af|selectBooleanCheckbox::native-input { width:30px; height:30px; }This skin selector is undocumented (e.g. it is not supported and it could not exist in future releases), it does not work on MS Internet Explorer and more important - it does not work on readonly checkboxes, so I did not find a way to modify the size of a readonly checkbox. For some reason if you use the CSS attributes "width" and "height" in a documented skin selector (for example, in the selector af|selectBooleanCheckbox::content-input) they will be ignored and will not be included in the compiled CSS skin. Sorry, but this is all I was able to find.

No you can't change the size of the Previews. Yes you can easily run a library from an external disk:
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

Is it possible to change the size of the 'Close' button in Full Screen viewing mode?

I am currently using Firefox for a kiosk type scenario. We require that the browser run full screen. The issue is that the 'Close' button is not large enough for users to consistently see, so they're having issues figuring out how to close an active browser window.
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to change this icon? I've tried using themes, but they tend to theme everything but the close button.

Is it possible to change the font size and weight in an ADF table? I have tried to change the various font size and weight settings for a table and its columns and they seem to have no effect on the font size or weight in a table row.

You would use skinning to modify font-size & weight for the table.

I would say there is atm no possibility to change the table view size dynamicly, because you can't input a formula into the size field so the size is fixed as you enter it.

I made a book project in iPhoto. After I was finished I decided I want to go from the extra-large book that I selected when I first started to a large book. Is it possible to change the book size before ordering the book?

Yes. Command (right) - click on the book in the left hand pane and select Duplicate.
Open the duplicate copy and go the Change Themes button and click on it. In the next window you can change size within the same theme.
The reason for the backup is in case the text might be lost or garbled up due to size changes in the text boxes. You can copy what is in the original library and paste it into the different sized library after adjusting text size if necessary.

If you are mailing PDFs I think you can take a look at the XSL FO Stylesheet which is being used to generate the PDF for a PO.

I've spent several days crafting 54-page 11"x8.5" book in Aperture.
And was going to print in special photo lab.
But unfortunately due to their requirements I need to bring the book
in a different size/page proportion.

You can choose to change Theme and then choose one you made yourself with other size and proportions (Custom Theme), but I would not recommend it since text you had placed in you book most likely would disappear. The same goes for custom layouts you made in your book. And finally, picture scalings and position adjustments you have made will be lost as well.

What is the maximum size of application to download to iPad via GSM. Is it 20 Mb? Does exist any possibility to change this parameter? In the towm where I live there is lack of wifi and the only possibiluty to download something from Apple Store is to use GSM/3G.

It has partly to do with the carrier. From what I've summized from reviews & feedback online is since Apple iPhone was the most advanced phone on the market when it was initially released the carriers were concerned about using up bandwidth with the apps & movie downloads so a limit was intially set for 10mb max on 3G connection. Later apple raised the limit, against the carrier's advice, to 20mb max.
The interesting part is the limitation doesn't exist on Android phone when they also have large apps & movies which are available for download & they use the same networks the iPhone uses! So why are the iPhone users still limited to the amount they can download at once while the Android users are not. They pay the same for thier data plans, if not less in some cases, that iPhone users do!

Thanks for the reply UKoC. You are close on the size. I would say they are about an inch to an inch and a half in width and only seven across the row. They just seem quite large on my display and I figured there would be an easy way. I kept thinking I just had to be missing the way for adjusting them since everything else seems to be so easy to personalize. Funny thing is that I have watched an online tutorial twice now on Apple's web site showing Launchpad and the icons shown there are smaller and more of them. I just thought I was missing the fix somehow. Thanks for confirming this.
