Is it possible to change the frame rate of a motion template?

Motion has some very useful templates, but the majority are only offered in NTSC, not PAL. (including all in 3D TEXT PROJECTS).
Is it possible to change the frame rate to 25fps before I start adding my own stuff, so that I can easily get the timing right for a PAL sequence in FCP.
If not in Motion, how else could this been changed?

Try dragging all the groups from one project into another instead - you'll need to open both project and rearrange the windows so you can see the layers tab for both of them.

  • How can I change the frame rate of a project in imovie 10?

My problem is: I made a gopro movie with a frame rate of 50 fps. I imported it to imovie. So far so good.
Scrubbing over the clip i found one single frame which looked amazing. So I draged some seconds of that clip into the timeline (the project if you will).
The goal was to make a freeze frame out of this "spezial" frame.
Unfortunately I could not find this frame in the timeline any more - it's gone.
I think imovie dropped half of the frames to fit the clip into the projekt, which I assume is using 24-25fps.
The only solution I found is to decrease the speed of the clip to let's say 50%.
But is there a better way?
Can I change the frame rate of the projekt somehow? I think it was possible in imovie 11.
    many thanks

iMovie 10 won't share at 50 fps and so for 25 fps output probably drops every other frame.  This is different from Imovie 9 which could handle 50 fps.  However, if you do 50% speed it will use all the available frames so that is indeed the way to find the frame you want.  After you have made a freeze frame I think you can switch the clip back to normal speed.  I am not aware of a better way in iMovie 10  By the way there is also no facility to export a still of a frame in iMovie.
As a GoPro user I think FCP 10.1 would be the best choice.

  • How do you change the frame rate (or fmp) of a project once you have already started?

I have been working on a project for a long time now, and I just reliezed that the frame rate of the project was 25 where as all my clips were in 30. Is there any possible way for me to change the frame rate even though I've already started the project? or do I have to start again?
    thanks

    Hi,
I've had a really good search through our documentation and website but there's no previous record of that error code. However, a quick google search turned up lots of things on MatLab user groups and the MathWorks forums.
MatWork's official stance is that the PCI 7342 is not supported in MatLab. They have a list of supported hardware here:

  • How can I change the frame rate mode?

Adobe Premiere Pro exports my videos with a variable frame rate. Because of this long videos are asynchronous. How can i change the frame rate mode? So Adobe Premie Pro exports my videos with a CONSTANT frame rate? The original video  has a constant frame rate...

Sorry my mistakes. I am from Germany.. so...I mean with asynchronous that the video file and the sound file are displaced. In the beginning of the Video it's normal, but if the videos is very long it goes VERY "asynchronous"

  • Would you like to change the frame rate of the project to 30 to match to m

I just now moved some film clips from the Event Library to the Project Library and a white message window appeared saying: *MISMATCHED FRAME RATES. The frame rate of t his cli is 30 and the frame rate of the project is 25. Would you like to change the frame rate of the project to 30 to match the clip? And two radio buttons: Don't Change and Change.
First of all, the other day I set my Sanyo VPC-HD2000A to shoot film at 1280 x 72 at 30 fps SHQ. Now I just checked and it is set at the topmost red zone960 x 540 at 30fps. The only thing I can think of to explain this is that I selected it but did not "set" it.
Thus now I have a message asking what I noted above. Should I click CHANGE?
WHY IS THE FRAME RATE OF THE PROJECT SET AT 25? How did I do that? What did I do that caused me to have a project that is set at 25 fps?????
    Time for another snack. 8-(
    -L
A side issue is to find out why I set my Sanyo VPC-HD2000A at one rate (above) but now see that all the footage was shot at a different rate. Very very frustrating.

    AppleMan,
It all began inside the settings of my Sanyo VPC-HD2000A when somehow the selection got switched from 1280 x 720 to that other setting with so-called 25fps. Also, I don't know whether the mishap occurred before or after I took my new footage.
I edited the clips last night and now they are on my blog and channel and they seem ok but slightly fuzzy.
I used a Sanyo VPC-HD2000A .7x wide angle lens with macro and I notice that when I zoomed in to the little sun conure, the picture blurred. I think that might be something that happens when one zooms the focus.
Also, I was born and raised to a teenager in Hawaii, but now Southern California has me in its grip.

  • Is it possible to viw the frame rate (fps) on the finder?

I have always been interested to see what the frame rate of my iMac is, but I can't work out how. I've searched the built in help, I have tried to search through the previous discussions on the topic but all with very limited success. There has to be someone who knows out. I've seen it done on Windows but have no idea on OS X. Also if I am playing a game I want to be able to see the frame rate "over" the game (if you know what I mean). Thanks in advance.

The operating system really doesn't have a measureable frame rate other than the refresh of the monitor.
Displaying the framerate in games is determined by the game settings.

  • Is there a way to change the frame rate on an audio clip in the source monitor?

Premiere CC6.  I am trying to sync audio and video by using "Merge Clips" but the audio seems to be counted in a 29.97 rate while the video is 23.98.  The sound person on set swears the audio TC should match the smart slate and that the frame rate is 23.98.  Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated.

I think I may have solved it, actually.  I find that if I switch the timecode to NDF in the source viewer, it seems to work.  I have tried it on three clips and they have sync'd without problems.  Hopefully this will continue to be the case.

  • Istopmotion. how can i change the frame rate in a project?

so i finally got istopmotion and i love it. its a bit tricky using the built in isight to grab shots but i am getting an external one. anywho, i was wondering if there is a way, once you have started working on a project, if you can change the framerate. i started a project, got pretty far into it, and found it was too fast. i'm probably just gonna redo this project but i wanna know for the future. thx

When you open up a new project you select your frame rate (same place where you select the format of your project). You could always slow/speed things up when you edit later in FCS or whatever you like to use for video editing.

  • Premiere elements 13 changing the frame rate of the original clips

    Hi,
I'm trying to make a gameplay video for YouTube... The clips I'm using are at a low frame rate (13-15 fps). When I put these clips into the editor, they get sped up to 30 fps. This increases the speed of the video and the preview window jumps back and forwards in the video.
This is highly frustrating because I can not change the speed of my video, and I can't see what I'm editing... I've tried rendering the video but this makes no difference... Is there any way of getting around this problem???

Excellent! I'm pretty sure that will solve the problem. The files are in raw "movie clip" format. That usually causes problems. I can't beleive I didn't think of that before! I'll convert the files to mp4 or avi and post again to comfirm that that really was the problem.
    Thanks for the quick response
--> Just to comfirm, changing the format to mp4 worked!
    THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!11

  • IPhone: AudioQueue - is it possible to change the sample rate?

I've been playing around with the AudioQueue stuff for a few days and it's all working fine.
I was trying to build a low-latency playback system by making the streaming buffers the same size as the audio file and pre-loading the buffers (which works fine) but I've hit a snag.
I've been trying to get the streaming to work at different sample rates so that I can play back the same sample at different pitches. I managed to do it by modifying the sample rate in the AudioStreamBasicDescription structure but in order to actually make the stream playback at the new rate it seems you have to create a new output, reload the audio file into the buffers and re-enqueue the output queue before starting playback again, otherwise the sample rate change has no effect.
There is a method to set queue properties; AudoQueueSetProperty() but unfortunately the sample rate Property (kAudioQueueDeviceProperty_SampleRate) is read-only
Can anyone suggest a way to achieve this with AudioQueue or do I need to move over to OpenAL?
    Thanks,
    Neil

    Dan,
there is one point in your understanding, which i am not sure what you think about when talking about it: I understand E-series devices do not support this property change while the VI is running.
infact, you cannot change the sample clock rate during acquisition. but
this does not mean that you cannot change it while the VI is running.
you have only to interrupt the acquisition. since you want to acquire
continuous, this would have the same effect as stopping the vi, i asume.
so the best way to accomplish this task is to use an external clock.
this is e.g. often used for acquistion on rotating shafts. the
acquistionrate is always e.g. 24 points per revolution regardless of
the rotational speed of the shaft, except for a maximum frequency of
    course.

  • Is it possible to change the exchange rate after completion of miro documen

    Dear sap guru's,
Please suggest me user can raise an po with account assignment cateagory (asset) ie AUC Asset. at the time they are giving exchange rate is 39.41. after doing migo he setteled the AUC asset to Main asset.
Month ending he is doing MIRO At this time System is caputuring the exchange rate as 39.58. so the differnce amount is comes under AUC Asset.Already the AUC Asset is setteled but exchange rate difference amount is showing in asset. how do i resolved this one Kindly suggest me this is an urgent issue.
    Regards,
    Kumar.

    Hi Kumar,
    There are two solutions,
    1. At the time of MIRO, you can give the exchange rate in the details tab screen which can be an exchanged rate which was used at the time of capitalisation.  Hence, there will not be any differences between capitalised value and MIRO value.
    2. You can post the difference in the AuC asset and again you can distribute it to an expenditure or an assets based on business process / decision.
    Hope it clears your doubt.

  • How can I change the velocity rate of my animation?

    Hi all!
I have a portion of an animation I want to play at different user-defined speeds (within a continous range of values). I saw audio and video files can be configured to that effect via their playbackRate property. Something like that but for a portion of the timeline would be great. Is that possible? I also looked into changing the framerate, but it seems it is not possible in An.
    Thanks in advance!

Yep your are right its not possible to change the frame rate of Animate content timeline.
But you can have the same symbol at different timeline durations and play one of them based on your parameters to give illusion of  symbol playing at different frame rates.

  • Changing animation frame rate when rendering in photoshop does not change the length of the video?

I made a walk cycle animation in Photoshop CS6 and want to render it into a quicktime format. I'd like it to be 12 fps, but when I rendered it at 12 fps the video seemed to be missing frames, and the video was 3 seconds long. I have 98 frames to my animation; doing the math, at 12 fps it should be 8 seconds long. Not 3.
I was confused and for curiosity's sake I rendered the video at 6 fps, trying to really slow it down. The video ended up being STILL 3 seconds long and only maybe 20 frames. I was missing literally 70 frames. I'm so upset with this rendering thing, I could chuck my computer at the wall.
Does anybody know of a solution to this?
edit: If it means anything, I've tried rendering it straight from the frame view and the timeline view. Each time I render it I have the timeline frame rate match the rendering frame rate as well.

Changing animation frame rate when rendering in photoshop does not change the length of the video?
Photoshop CS6 and CC support two types of animation Frame animations and a Video Timeline
Changing the frame rate should not change the length of a video timeline. It should just change the number of frames that are rendered.  To change the length of a video you need to change the length of the video timeline.  If you increase the length of the timeline and there is audio I'm quite sure there will be a problem with it,  The Video part will most likely be better then the sound. The required number of extra frames can be generated however the video may look like slow motion. If you decrease the length the motion will speed up.  The length of a video is normally done be editing video clips which are trimmed and stitched together to get the desired duration. Not normally done by altering the duration of a clip.
The duration a of Frame animation is the sum of the times each frame is displayed.  In a frame animation the length of time a frame is displayed can be varied it not a normal motion picture video.  To have a smooth frame animation you need a sufficient number of frames that are different from each other to show smooth motion.  You can use Photoshop Frame animation tween feature to have Photoshop manufacture frames to help with a smoothing the animation.   Once you have a frame animation the length with the motion you want you can have Photoshop convert it to a video timeline and render a normal motion picture video.  It will not have audio but you can add audio to it.

  • How do I set the frame rate to 12fps on my video, and it not change randomly?

Hi, I imported a video layer from file then set the frame rate to 12fps, when I play the video it keeps changing the frame rate to random times. How do I keep it at 12fps

Click the windows start button, then right click on computer, this will bring up a window that will tell you how much ram your system has.
Also Start>Accessories>System Tools>System Information will give you all the details you need to know.
As for Codec, That is an abreviation for code/decode it tells windows how to code when saving a video and how to decode when playing a video. Most formats are wrappers (avi, wmv, mov, rt) Each of these have a codec that you can choose from when saving a video, that codec then must be installed on the users computer to see that same video. Most formats come with a basic number of codecs and the creator of the video can purchase other codecs that provide better feature set.
What the codec really does is takes the video and compresses it like a zip file then the user when playing require that codec to uncompress it.
So each codec has its own strength and weaknesses. Some can compress more making a smaller file and perhaps inturn removes more data to get that compression and therefore has a poorer quailty video (just an example)
I am sure you heard of a few codecs if you think about it. mpg, mp2, mp3, mp4, h.264 and so on. Mp3 is the only one I listed here that is for audio only. Yep thats right even audio uses codecs.

  • Dropping frames in render.. How do i change export frame rate

I have a film clip shot on the canon 5d which shoots only at 30fps. This was no issue in FCP as the preferences allow changing the frame rate.
The project plays fine in color, but when it comes time to render the settings are locked at 25fps. This results in sync issues once sent back to FCP.
Is there anyway to get around this? Is there a preference somewhere that allows me to change the frame rate in color?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
