Is it possible to change the 'from' field of iCloud Calendar invites?

I created a calendar for a company I work for that multiple people share. As the calendar owner, when people with read/write privileges invite people to meetings etc., it is my personal email address which appears as the 'from' on the invite.
Is there a way of changing this on a per calendar basis, or is the only option to create a new iCloud account with a company email address and export the calendar so that the new iCloud account is the calendar owner?

Hi Alex,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to change the From email address in workflows.
The from address is set in the outgoing e-mail settings in Central Administration.
 There is no OOB way to change it in workflows.
As a workaround, I suggest you develop your own workflow activity to do it.
Or, there is a CodePlex solution, it contains a Send Email Extended action which allows you to specify the sender, you can take a look at:

  • How can I change the "From:" field in iOS Mail?

    This is a weird one.
    I have a gmail work email account that has been set up for me. There's a primary email address assigned to it, and a secondary one (which is the one I want to use).
    No problem at all sending from the secondary account on my MacBook Pro. I just hit the drop down menu by the "From:" field, and I can select it from there.
    However, when I send from my iPhone, I'm only given the option of sending from my primary email address, not the secondary one. This is despite the fact that I've synced Mail accounts via iTunes.
    Any idea how I might fix this so I can send from the secondary account on my iPhone?

    First of all, please fill in the Computer Model and Operating System fields on your My Settings’s profile (and click Save). This is essential information that should always be provided when asking for help.
    Now, what does “I can't change it” mean? What appears in the From header of the messages you send is determined by your Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Account Information settings...

  • Is it possible to change the "From Email Address in workflow"

    I have a created a task list and set a workflow for the list.
    Workflow Actions:
    1. Send a Email to the "Assigned To" user whenever a task is created.
    2. If the Task is due, send an reminder Email and even if its not completed, send a Email to the higher Management.
    Workflow is working fine.
    Issue:
    The Email from address is the Email Address that has been entered in the SharePoint central admin Outgoing Email address.
    I would need the from address to be of whomever has assigned the task to the particular person.
    Let me know if its possible?

  • How do you change the "From" field to have a name that you want?

    For instance, I receive sports updates from Rotoworld and ESPN. Their email addresses are '[email protected]' and '[email protected]'. Can I change this somehow? Can I change the name so that the From field show what I want it to show instead of the long email address? I would like to just have it say "Rotoworld" and "ESPN".

    if you REALLY wanted to you could edit the .elmx email file as a text file and replace the sender name there. this can of course, be automated. However, that would be wa-a-y too much trouble and is entirely not worth it.

  • Manually change the FROM field in an Response file

    Hi everyone,
    I have a question about the generated responses file from an acrobat form.  I can't use the usual E-mail method because apparently the Installed version of Reader that my companies IT department puts out blocks the use of it, people don't see the submit button.
    So I set it up in LiveCycle so that a form gets E-mailed to me when a user hit submit.  However when does this way, the FROM field come imports in as Anonymous User when I manually import it.
    Is the any way to edit this?  I don't need it to know who sent it, I know the method I'm using doesn't support this.  However I am never adding more than one at a time.  Is there any way I can manually just edit this and change it to the name of the sender?
    Thanks

    Thanks.  I will try there as well.  However, even though I created the form using LiveCycle, the responses are still being collected in Acrobat and the response file I am trying to modify is Acrobat as well.

  • Adding a Contact Form, is it possible to change the FROM address in the header to the submitter's email address?

    As it stands now the FROM address used is the site default (mine); using REPLY in the resulting email from the form should have the submitters email address not mine. I was able to switch this in the code (form-u1768.php) of an earlier version of MUSE. The PHP has changed in the current version (2014) and I'm not seeing how to pull off the same manual tweak. Any Ideas? Thanks!

    I found this: Re: In adobe muse, how do you control the replyto address for a form?  The site I'm working on is uploaded via FTP to another host.  So, "...the email 'reply-to' header is filled in with the email address entered by whoever filled out the form, so you can hit 'reply' in your email software to reply to the form submitter."  However, what if I want to take my chances on the form mail coming out of my site? Is there a tweak in the PHP that I can perform to change the FROM address to the same as REPLY-TO? Is there any reason this wouldn't work:
    function get_email_headers($to_email, $form_email) {
      $headers = 'From: ' . $form_email . PHP_EOL;
      $headers .= 'Reply-To: ' . $form_email . PHP_EOL;
      $headers .= 'X-Mailer: Adobe Muse CC 2014.1.6 with PHP' . PHP_EOL;
      $headers .= 'Content-type: text/html; charset=utf-8' . PHP_EOL;
      return $headers;
    ...vs. the way it is coded by MUSE:
    function get_email_headers($to_email, $form_email) {
      $headers = 'From: ' . $to_email . PHP_EOL;
      $headers .= 'Reply-To: ' . $form_email . PHP_EOL;
      $headers .= 'X-Mailer: Adobe Muse CC 2014.1.6 with PHP' . PHP_EOL;
      $headers .= 'Content-type: text/html; charset=utf-8' . PHP_EOL;
      return $headers;

  • Why is the "From:" field being changed in Mac Mail.  I have multiple gmail accounts setup and it seems to change the "FROM" field even though I've selected which account to use to send the email.

    So
    I've got multiple gmail accounts setup in Mac Mail.
    Somtimes when I send or forward emails, it uses the wrong FROM field even though I'm declaring
    specifically which account to use.
    This becomes apparent when the person replies to my message and it goes to the wrong account

    Check you accounts in Mail and make sure each account has the correct outgoing server address. Check the box to use only that server.
    Second, go to the gmail website and in settings under the account tab, make sure you have the correct settings for replying to messages.

    Have you checked your iCloud settings on your Mac or PC. And if you are using a Mac, have you also activated Photo Stream for iPhoto or Aperture?

  • How to automate the "from" field across multiple accounts?

    In order to get push email from my work and gmail accounts, I have my email accounts set up to forward everything to my MobileMe address. My iPhone checks all three addresses, so that I can receive push notifications on new emails, but still reply from the appropriate original account.
    But to keep my reply-to addresses straight, every time I reply to a consolidated email in my MobileMe inbox, I need to drop down and change the "from" field to the right account. I'd love to set up an automation to do this. So that, for example, a message to my gmail is forwarded to my MobileMe, I pick it up in the MobileMe inbox, reply to the email, and the "From" field is automatically populated with my gmail address.
    Is it possible to do this on iOS? Thank you for your thoughts.

    Thanks, that makes sense, though my flow is to read and reply from my consolidated MobileMe account, since that's where the pushes come from. I'm wondering if I can import a couple of rules or at least set a default reply-to.

  • Changing the description field in AP Invoice

    Hi is it possible to change the description field in an 'open' posted AP or AR invoice?  I assume you have to credit note the invoice and re enter it with the new line item description which seems a long way around when only the text is being changed and not the coding or amounts.
    thanks judi

    Hi,
    All marketing documents, whether closed/open, do allow the user to change the remarks/narrantion. This field is located in the Footer Fields - left corner of the form.
    Pls check out.
    Assign points if useful.

  • How to change email "From" field???

    Hi Everyone,
    New to blackberry.   I would like to know how I can change the "From" field when you send an email from the phone to a name or email address I want it to say.
    Here is my email situation:
    My email address is ''[email protected]" (which i purchased) and anbody who sends an email to me gets forwarded to my yahoo email account.  In yahoo I created an "alias" "[email protected]" so when I send an email, nobody sees my actual yahoo account which I want to keep private.  How do I do this?
    I searched in the forum but coudn't find any solutions.  Thanks so much for any help.

    You couldn't find any solution because there is none given your current configuration.
    You're receiving your email from your Yahoo account - not your peronal domain account.  It's kind of a security issue for you not to be able to forge an email address on your BlackBerry.  In fact, you can't change the FROM address when replying at all on a BlackBerry.  You can forward using another email address that's set up on the device, but you can't manually enter a FROM address even when forwarding.
    First thing to do is to set up your personal email account through your BIS setup.
    Once you've done that, you can either stop forwarding your personal email to your Yahoo account, OR filter your personal email to NOT be forwarded to your device through your Yahoo BIS setup, OR have your personal email filtered on your Yahoo account and delivered to a folder other than the Inbox and it shouldn't be seen by your BIS setup.

    Recently, I discovered I have two iCloud accounts. Is it possible to change the Apple ID for one of the accounts to match the other account, without losing the information from either account.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    It's a little tricky to move data from one iCloud account to another but it can be done. But what makes you think you have 2 iCloud accounts.

    What do you mean by "like to see" ? You can WRITE the fields in any order you want. If you want to display the internal table in an ALV you can manipulate the fieldcatalog.
    If you want something else other than display the field, you have to explain your req. in detail.
