Is it possible to change the transfer mode at runtime?

Question

I was building a WCF service using BasicHttpBinding which
typically transmits small messages, but
I can not know in advance what will be
the maximum size of transmitted files.
For these reasons, currently I set
Streamed as transfer mode, using Stream objects as method unique parameter or return data of service operations.
I wondered
if it was possible to make sure that if the size
of the data to be transferred exceeds a certain threshold,
then the Streamed transfer mode is used,
otherwise the Buffered transfer mode
is used.

In my mind you can create two endpoints, one will use the buffered transfter mode, the other will use the streamed transfer mode. Then if the files size is large than some value, it will call the first endpoint. Or it will call the second endpoint.
If you want to know the actual message size, please try to use the MessageInspector to help you.
