Is it possible to change your nickname on iTunes?

I'd prefer to make my iTunes pseudonym the same as my Ping name. Is there a way I can change this?
Also, is it possible to make another Ping account on the same computer for other users in my house?
I don't want to have their reviews showing up on my Ping account.
Thanks.

Is it possible to change your name in [email protected] and transfer your account space and material saved from the old account to the new one?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately it's not possible to change that address and if you create a new account you can't transfer your existing content.
if you don't like the email address you have created, you might create an alias and use that instead.

  • I changed my nickname in iTunes but it did not change in the forums

    Hi,
I just changed my nickname in iTunes and it said that it changed, but when I logged into the forums, it did not change. Any ideas?
    xxmitchxx90

No, they didn't. If someone has a different alias here, it's because they set up a new Apple ID. This issue has been covered extensively in the Using Apple Support Communities forum.

  • How to change your country on iTunes?

how to change your country on iTunes?

If you just need to change the country of view, in iTunes go to the bottom of the iTunes Store main page and look for either the "Change Country" link or the round "flag" icon. Click on either and select your country from the list.
If you are moving to another country and need to change the country of your iTunes Store account, log into your iTunes Store account and you should see a "change country" link. You'll need a valid payment method for your new country. You can also just open a new account in the iTunes Store of your new country, something which many people recommend to avoid causing problems with updates to existing apps which do not transfer to your new country's Store.

  • How to change your nickname in game centre using macbook pro OSX Yosemite

I want to change my nickname in game centre but don't know where to go so pls if anyone could help me out.

You can change your computer name in System Preferences (found under the Apple menu) in the Sharing pane. At the top of the pane it will say Computer Name: PowerBook G4 15".
Note that the name can contain spaces. Mine, for example, is Ministry of Magic.
Delete the current name and enter the new name. Note that you do not have to click the edit button out to the right. That is only useful if you want to change the bonjour address on your local subnet to be something different from NewComputerName.local (where NewComputerName is the new name you just changed it to.
    Hope this helps. Good luck.

  • Is it possible to change your iPhone IMEI easily?

    http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=657
As I understand it´s possible to change on older as iPhone3 and iPhone3G, but still no one has succeeded to accomplish this om iPhone4...am i right?
I work att a large phonecompany and are interested how it works in thoses cases we block IMEI.
    / Anki

Hey Dave, you have understood me right. Thank you
My purpose is not for personal gain to change IMEI. We operators feel that the iPhone is very attractive for fraudsters to get quick money and it encourages fraud. The only way to make it unattractive to purchase the iPhone via private web sales and advertisements of all kinds is to block the IMEI. It is difficult to obtain information on the web whether it is possible to modify an iPhone's IMEI. As I understand it in the link I attached earlier it seemed easy to accomplish this change. My colleague said that apparently a change of IMEI has succeeded on the iPhone 3G and 3G, but not yet on the 4G.
I'm not interested in how to do it but just the possibility whether it is possible or not?
It's just that it feels pointless to block the IMEI if it still can be changed so easily.
Hope I was clearer now and that someone has an answer on my reflection.
    Regards Anki Sweden

  • Is it possible to change auto-login to iTunes Store?

When I launch iTunes, I find that I am already logged in to my iTunes Store account. Is it possible to change it to manual logon? If so, how? Thanks.

Store > Sign Out should log you out of your account - if you then sign in to make purchases or to download app updates you will need to sign out out again if you don't want to be logged in when you next open iTunes.  But even though you are currently logged in when iTunes opens, you still need to enter your password any purchases can be made.

  • HT204053 How do you change your region when iTunes and the App Store keep changing it

I live in china but I'm from Canada and my iTunes is linked to Canada.  Twice so far this year I have had my iTunes, App Store, and iBooks all convert to the Chinese sites. I am trying to put it back to Canada but for some reason it won't change. My region is still Canada so I'm not quite sure what is going on. Can anyone help?

Apps are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them.  You will always be asked for the password associated with this ID when updating apps, regardless of whether or not you are using this ID for current purchases.  The only way to stop this is to delete the old apps from your phone and iTunes and repurchase them with your current ID.
Edit: to change the ID used for future purchases on your phone, go to Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in using the new ID.  As explained above, you will still be prompted with the old ID when updating apps purchase with the older ID.

  • Is it possible to change your cdma iphone 5 to a gsm carrier, and then back to your previous cdma carrier?

I'm using StraightTalk right now and am wanting to try out H20. I know my iphone 5 is gsm unlocked so the switch to the gsm H20 Network should be simple enough. I'm wondering though if for some reason I don't find H20 a good option can I switch back to StraightTalk on my CDMA network.

If you have a CDMA iPhone 5 (in the USA, model A1429), and the GSM slot is truly unlocked (not just unlocked for international use) then you can use it with a GSM network.  You should be able to go back to the same CDMA network it was sold for - in other words, you cannot change to a different CDMA carrier as the CDMA carrier is permanently locked in firmware and cannot be altered.
But make sure the GSM SIM slot is truly unlocked.  For example a USA Sprint iPhone 5 could have the GSM SIM slot unlocked for international use, but it would not accept a SIM card for any GSM carrier in the USA, only for overseas carriers.  I'm not sure what Verizon's policy was with iPhone 5 phones (with the new iPhone 5s or 5c, Verizon phones are sold with no lock of any kind on the GSM SIM slot).
