  • Is it possible to read the file using File Adapter which is in client machi

Is it possible to read the file using file Adapter which is in client machine(on the same network). Then what is thee need of FTP Adapter?

You can achieve that by exposing your client machine as a drive, then you can go using file adapter.
FTP adapter will help you to communicate with different machine which is in different network.

  • It is possible to charge an iPad3 over USB and transmit data over USB at the same time?

    Hello,
it is possible to charge an iPad3 over USB and transmit data over USB at the same time?
    If yes, how?
    Thanks
    Best regards

    OK!?
That is right that the USB data oins are not connected to +5V pin.
But i found a description for a self built power supply for iPad.
    http://timothyb.net/DIY_iPad_2_USB_Charger.html
    and
    https://www.mikrocontroller.net/topic/262610?goto=2726627#2726627
The description say: data pin D- need a voltage level of 2V and D+ 2,857V
when the data pins have this special voltage levels and VCC has +5V only then the iPad is charging.
The voltage "D+/D- coding" is the key for the iPad to charge.
OK now back to my problem.
The regular USB data pin voltage level is 0,3 - 3.,0 voltage. When the iPad is charging the data pins have this special voltage level. Now i try to transmit data over the usb data pins with the. Normaly the USB port transmit the data with a voltage level of max. 3V.
And here my problem. The higher voltage level at the data pins cares therefor that the iPad stop the charging.
    Is that correct?

  • Is it possible to charge the expenditures/Cost to WIP Account

Is it possible to charge the expenditures/Cost to WIP Account and at the time of revenue accrual, system takes this cost to some Cost account i.e. Cost of goods sold.
Also upon closure of project, system should trasnfer all the costs from Work In Process to Cost of goods sold automatically.
Am talking about Contract Project type.
    Zeeshan

    Hi
The method called Revenue Based Cost Accruals is pre delivered billing extension, which you may assign to project types or specific projects.
If you implement that method, verify the AA rules for the costs and for the event types do match to the intended functionality. You can follow the case study example in the Projects Billing User Guide.

Thanks alot in advanceYou can create a batch file in window and then setting appropriate environment setting you can do
sqlplus user/pass@connect @scriptnamewhere scriptname is you above script.
You can then schedule this in windows schduler
However excel can not handle more than 1,048,576 rown as of version 2010
You can save the spool as html file and you will able to view the resultset.

  • Can I Charge the iPad using a 115V / 400Hz power supply?

The charging unit specifies 100-240V and 50-60Hz. Will the iPad be damaged if I use a 115V and 400Hz power supply. The 400Hz power supply is what I've got access to using an aircraft power supply. Thanks.

The increase in frequency will cause a higher input impedance to the transformer inside the charger itself. The charger will therefore have less charging current available and therefore charge the ipad slower. If the compensation circuitry inside tries to overcome the reduced current on the output, it could cause damage.
The formula for input impedance on an inductive device is XL = 2piFL. If you increase input frequency (F), you increase input impedance (XL).
Note: If it's a military aircraft, I am surprised the Plane Commander will let you use the device on the aircraft due to there being transmitter(s) inherent to the ipad. Military aircraft are EMP-hardened from outside emissions only. A transmitter on the inside of the aircraft can cause interference to certain sensors and equipment.
Additionally, the power supply does not meet military standards for grounding, as there is not a grounding pin on the power plug.

i want to know if its possible to do the same to the Button of the JComboBox any ideas?I'm sure people in the Swing forum would know, but since you refuse to post your questions there, good luck.
By the way each LAF has its own button.
why does this method in JComboBox act wired it returns false irrespectively of the condition of the Popup. Maybe if you actually posted you SSCCE in the Swing forum you would get some help.
We are know up to 9 times you have been asked to post in the correct forum.
It has now become obvious you never search so I doubt you will be getting help in the future.

  • Windows 8.1 laptop cannot connect to the internet using USB Mobile Broadband stick.

I bought a new laptop and it came with Windows 8.1 installed. Well, things worked perfectly until I wanted to connect to the internet using my mobile broadband USB stick. I installed the software that came with the stick, and my laptop recognize
the stick but I still cant connect to the internet. The stick workes perfect in my Windows 7 and Windows 8 laptops, but IT DONT CONNECT WITH MY WINDOWS 8.1 LAPTOP. What can I do to troubleshoot this???
HOPE I AM SPECIFIC ENOUGH THOU...

    The PC Repair Guy,
If you haven't already, verify that you can connect to the internet through some other means such as Wi-Fi or Ethernet with your laptop to rule out any network setting issues.  If you are able to connect successfully to the internet, use that opportunity
    to make sure you have
Windows 8.1 Update installed as well as any other applicable updates your laptop may require.
You may also want to check the
Windows Compatibility Center to make sure that your device is compatible with Windows 8.1.
Another possibility is that the driver your laptop is installing for the device isn't the correct one.  Check the device manufacturer's site for the most up to date driver they have available for Windows 8.1.
    Hope this helps!

  • How not to charge the iphone via USB

I was wondering if it is possible not the charge the iphone while it is plugged to the USB port of my laptop. I am just asking that as sometimes I just want to add new songs/apps without actually charging my iphone via the USB port as I prefer to do it once the battery is at 10% .
Many thanks in advance for your help/advices.
    Regards
    Alberto

    In a word, no.
There is no harm with charging a lithium based battery more frequently and when at any battery level and without having to charge the battery to 100% when doing so.

  • Charging from Mains using USB Cable

    Hi,
I've not been able to get my classic to charge from the mains using a plug with USB socket and the cable that came with my Ipod. The same thing works for my TomTom and Garmin.
I've only ever been able to charge from my PC, Klipsch dock and the dock in my car.
Help! I'm going on holiday soon, and won't have a computer to charge it from!

The problem is that I want to be able to charge when on holiday, and even the official Apple travel charger is a glorified USB charger. As far as I'm aware, USB has a standard 5v output, and should work no matter what adaptor I have plugged into the mains as long as I use the dock -> USB adaptor included with my ipod?

  • HT4060 I would lke to use an iPAD with chart plotting programmes. Is it possible to charge the iPAD from a 12Volt supply or do I have to use an inverter to get mains Voltage first?

I like offshore sailing which means that I am without mains electricty for extended periods. I am considering the use of an iPAD 4th generation with a download of iNAVX which would appear to give an iPAD excellent chart plotting capeabilities. But how to keep it charged after the battery runs out? It seems very inefficient to have to use an Inverter to get a mains voltage, only to reduce it again to the level of a USB output!

Long time sailor but never tried charging an iPad aboard away from dock power.

  • Is it possible to charge the 2nd gen Ipod with a nook HD charger?

My Ipod battery died and I don't have a charger, but I do have a nook HD charger that looks exactly like the Ipod charger. on the adapter it says:
    Input: 100-240V-50/60Hz 0.40A
Output: 5.1V=2A. So is it possible?

I have the regular Nook Tablet but one of my family members bought me the wrong charger but from experience with nooks the charger works fine because its brand new. And I tried it with the wall charger and nothing showed up so I'm going to try it using the computer USB.
