Is it possible to convert 2013 Project Professional trial version to Standard full version?

I am closing in on the end of my trial period for Project 2013. I have found that i do not need the Professional version and have therefore purchased a full retail copy of Standard. Is there a way to convert the Prof trial version to Standard, or do i
simply need to uninstall Prof, and install Std from scratch? thx mm

Microsoft Project Professional Trial 2013

I tried to download MS Project Pro Trial 2013 this morning (64-bit) and my computer told me that I needed the 32-bit. So I went through the registration process again and downloaded the 32-bit. Upon trying to run MS Project it gave me an error message
after typing in my trial code stating.
Error 25004: The product key you entered cannot be used on this machine. This is most likely due to previous MS Office 2013 trials being installed
Any help would be great on how I can successfully trial MS Project.

Have you installed Microsoft Project Professional Trial 2013 or Office 2013 pro before?
Did you have installed any version of Office in this PC now?
As far as I know, the error occurs when we try to install a Windows Installer (MSI)-based version of Office/Project 2013 on a computer on which the computer manufacturer has already installed a version
of Microsoft Office/Project 2013.
Please try the following steps and check they are helpful.
Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared
If there is a folder called OFFICE15 or OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform delete that folder.
Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared
Same as above, If there is a folder called OFFICE15 or OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform delete that folder.
Reinstall
Please note: Backup before you deteted
Tips:
Office 32 bit version could be installed with both of 32bit and 64 bit Windows OS.
Make sure all versions of Office/Project are either 32-bit or 64-bit. You can’t have a mix of both.

I downloaded the trial version of Project Professional a few days ago but when I go to open it it asks for a key which I did not write down. Is there any way to get that key again?

I downloaded the project professional 2013 file. Was able to run this ProjectProfessional_x86_en-us. It said to open microsoft suite and I can't really find that in crummy windows 8.1. I searched project professional in the file explorer and only got evaluation-project-professional-2013[1]
and regid.1991-06.com.microsoft Microsoft Project Professional 2013.
nevermind I'm just removing it and customize installing.

Patricl, please answer Russ's question; and fear not, deleting or installing a version of FCP X does not delete or move any of your media or projects.
If the trial was from an older version (10.0.x), there is a necessary update procedure. 10.1.x uses libraries to organize your content, and the older stuff must be converted to the new organizational scheme, but it is well worth it.

Will a Final Cut Pro X Trial project transfer over to a bought, full version?

I recently downloaded the Final Cut Pro X Trial and started on a project to see how it works. I like the software. If I buy it from the App store will I be able to continue to work on the project that I have started in the trial version? Will the project transfer over to the full FCPX? Or will I have to start the project over from scratch?
I'm hoping, of course, that I won't have to start it over, and it just transfers over or opens up automatically in the full, purchased version.

Is it possible to convert a project in SD to a project in HD

I finally made the leap from PP 2.0 to PP 5.5. I have a few projects that where shot in HDV, but downconverted to SD to be able to edit in PP 2.0. Now that I have PP 5.5 is there anyway to take the original project that was done in SD and unlink the media and recapture all the video in HDV thus having all the media relink but in HDV so I don't have to edit the project from scratch? Anyone have any luck doing something like this? It would be a real timesaver.

I'm sure someone with more experiance with PPCS5.5 will be able to give you some other advice, but I'd like to share mine. There is software called Magic Bullet Instant HD V1.2. It does a very good job of taking SD files and giving you a better final image than the SD file. You are able to set many different sizes and resolutions. I had about 50 hours of SD video and it was worth it to me to be able to view them in higher quality. You can download a trial version of the software to see if you like it.

Is it possible to convert footage shot in widescreen mode to standard ?

We used two cameras. One with standard settings and the other with accidental wide-screen settings and now need to have them look similar in a project. Please help.When we expand the wide-screen footage it blurs a bit. Thanks!

Fire the shooter.
You must scale up the letterboxed shot or you must scale down and letterbox the correct shot. If you scale the letterboxed shot, you're making the pixels bigger so, of course, the shot will get blurry. IUf you scale down and crop the correct shot, you are throwing away a bunch of pixels and it will look blurry, too, but in a different way.
You can hide your screwup by applying a similar amount of pixelation and blurriness to your correctly shot footage.
This is a painful lesson in double checking your shooters' abilities to use their tools. Happens. Don't let it happen again.

Converting RoboHelp project from v.4.1 to 8

I have problems with converting RoboHelp project created in
RoboHelp Office for Word version 4.1 into RoboHelp for Word version
8.
The project contains documents made in polish language.
Project opens fine in new version of RoboHelp, but during help
compilation to .chm file, I receive some errors. I found out, that
most of those errors are caused by polish characters in document
names. That's no problem - finaly I can modify it. However why it
was not problem in older version of RoboHelp ?
Real problem I have is with TOC - after compilation I don't
have any polish letters in topic names: they are changed for other
letters or characters.
I've made a little project (one simple document in polish
with few topics) in RoboHelp 8 with the same settings like in my
original old project - unfortunately after compilation I received
same errors with TOC.
I think that I missed something in project settings, but I
don't know what it may be. My other idea: RoboHelp doesn't support
polish language anymore :( because I don't see it in list File >
Project Settings > Language.
Please help me to solve this problem.

The information she provided was from QuickTime Player.
It would seem that the tapes were shot that way (for whatever reason).
She can try capturing the tapes again, maybe it will make a difference, maybe not.
A couple of things to try before starting to recapture:
Deleting FCP Preferences:
Open a Finder window. Set the view mode to columns:
Click the house icon that has your name next to it.
Click the folder "Library" in the next column.
Find and click the folder "Preferences" in the next column.
Find and click the folder "Final Cut Pro User Data" in the next column.
Move the files "Final Cut Pro 4.0 Prefs", "Final Cut Pro Obj Cache" and "Final Cut Pro Prof Cache" to the Trash and empty it.
Open the project in Final Cut Pro. Go to the menu bar: Final Cut Pro > Easy Setup > NTSC DV > OK
Menu bar again: Sequence > Settings > Load Sequence Preset > OK > OK.
The procedure above has reset FCP to it's default values and set the project for NTSC DV.
If the warning still appears, it is not an FCP problem.

Error in converting SQL 2014 Trial to Full version using VLKey

Hi,
I am currently trying to upgrade my SQL 2014 evaluation version to the full version.
I have purchased a Volume License for SQL Server 2014 Server/CAL and have extracted the product key from the ISO File.
I have verified this product key with the product activation department and it is confirmed that it is a valid product key "ProdKey3 SQL Svr Standard Edtn 2014 00204 PA/BP VL:GVLK Pre Pidded"
However, when i input the product key in to the server, it is showing me the error message:
The SQL product key is not valid, enter key from certificate of authenticity or SQL server packaging
Checked on the version of the evaluation and this is the edition - Microsoft SQL Server 2014.0120.2000.08
The site that I am activating the server on does not have any internet connection, does this affect the activation?
Would there be an alternate phone activation method for converting to Trial to Full?

Converting Trial to Full Version

I have an old computer with acrobat pro x and I have the license number. I have a new computer with acrobat pro xi trial version. i want to convert the trial to the full version. I just paid for the upgrade. Where do i put the license number?

Trial versions are normally full versions, they are just limited by the amount of time you can try them. Your serial number for the old version will not work for the new version, except to help confirm the upgrade during activation. You need to purchase the upgrade and that should end up providing you with a serial number for the new version.

Error Message when opening Project Plan on Project Professional from PWA 2013 using either Google Chrome or Firefox

One of our clients uses Google Chrome
as their standard navigator to open PWA 2013 that we have deployed for them.
Every thing went fine until we tried to open a project plan using Project Professional 2013 from PWA using the Edit in Project Professional option, we had the below error:
"Project Web App was unable to find the specified Project.
the project was not found on Project Web App. some possible reasons include:
The Project has not yet been saved successfully to the server.
The Project has been deleted on the server.
you don’t have adequate permissions to open this project.
if the project is available in the local cache, you can click the globe in the status bar and select "Work offline", and then open the project, if the problem continues, contact
your administrator."
Please note that IE is working fine with this scenario,
the belwo screenshot shows the error that appears to the users.

I suspect that this problem reveals that PWA does not work perfectly in browsers other than the Internet
