Is it possible to copy free apps that are not on the App Store anymore to multiple iPhones through iTunes sync?
I have an old app on my iPhone that is able to run on ios7 but has now been deleted from the app store. I was wondering if iTunes sync would allow me to put it onto multiple iPhones with no problems - The iPhones that I want to copy it to are all the same (iPhone 5s), the app is on an iPhone 5s 16GB and I want to put it on an iPhone 5s 32GB.

I've never chosen to delete unused apps in my library because I was worried that if, in the future, one was of interest, that I'd have to re-purchase... so this is not the case then, right? (I'd felt secure knowing that an app was stored on my computer... More than once, I've had to revert to backups and was glad to have copies of my apps safely stored away.)
I've been slow to adopt anything "cloud" so am not well versed on the benefits of using it. So, just to be clear, if I delete an unused app in my local iTunes library, it will forever remain available in the cloud linked to my account, right?

Best approach to delete records that are not in the source table anymore.
I have a situation where I need to remove records from dimensions that are not in the source data anymore. Right now we are not maintaing history, i.e. not using SCD but planning for the next release. If we did that it would be easy to figure the latest records. The load is nightly and records are updated and new added.
The approach that I am considering is to join the dimension tables the the sources on keys and delete what doesn't join. However, is there perhaps some function in OWB that would allow to do this automatically on import so it can be also in place for the future?
Thanks!Bear in mind that deleting dimension records becomes problematic if you have facts attached to them. Just because this record is no longer in the active set doesn't mean that it wasn't used historically, and so have foreign key constraints on it in your database. IF this is the case, a short-term solution would be to add an expiry_date field to the dimension and update the load to set this value when the record disappears rather than to delete it.
And to do that, use the target dimension as a source table, outer join it to the actual source table on the natural key, and so your update will set expiry_date=nvl(expiry_date,sysdate) to set to sysdate if this record has not already been expired on all records where the outer join fails.
Further consideration: what do you do if the record is re-inserted into the source table? create a new dimension key? Or remove the expiry date?
But I will say that I am not a fan of deleting records in most circumstances. What do you do if you discover a calculation error and need to fix that and republish historical cubes? Without the historical data, you lose the ability to do things like that. -
I need help, I want to download the app called 'popcorn time' from online. I know it has no side effects because my friend has used this app for a number of years on her mac computer. I found it on the internet and have nearly downloaded it but my security system won't let me I followed the instructions to get the security system to make an exception for this app but at the end of the instructions it has a log-in pop up that says "OS X is trying to allow an item to always run. Type an administrator's name and password to allow this." I don't know what it means by an administrators name and password I typed my apple ID but this didn't work. I checked if i had the right password and i did and i have tried it multiple times but it still doesn't work this is very frustrating and I need to fix it

I just upgraded my 3gs to 4.3.3. When I try to open an app, it opens for a second or so, then closes. Two finger reboot didn't work. Regular iphone apps like Photos and Clock work fine. Tried turning off and on the location services as this patch was supposed to catch. What now, another patch to patch the patch! Ken
I just upgraded my iPhone 4 to OS5 and had the same issues.
All of the Apple applications / components worked. However, any non-apple application would flash open but wouldn't work and they were running in the background. After reading this thread (although it pertains to a different upgrade), thought I'd try it and it worked for me. I just went to iTunes App Store on my phone and downloaded a free app and presto!... now they all work again.

Well, everything that you have bought with her Apple ID prior to getting your own Apple ID is forever hers. Apple will not transfer content from one ID to another. But in the case of the Mac, contact iTunes Customer Service and request that they send your issue to the Account Security Team and ask that the Mac be released form your mother's account so you may register it with your account. Then you can accept the iLife apps into your account for any future updates.

After clearing cash on my mac ( Go to folder: ~/Library/Caches and clear all, than to Library/Cashes and clear all again) applications won't lunch any more..I tried to delete apps like VLC player, firefox.. with app cleaner and again download and install the new one but it's the same..goes for all apps that are not originally part of Yosemite. I have done this cash clean up very often on Maverick without any problems. It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Note that you mention AdBlock as if it should have prevented this, but it's important to understand that ad blockers do not protect you against adware in any way. Neither would any kind of anti-virus software, which often doesn't detect adware.
As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?

Check by going to iTunes (on iDevice) > downloads and then remove the one that is trying to download, this will then make the others download and when they are finished, the apps will update/install
