Is it possible to create sequence shots in aperture

Digital Photography magazine had an article about sequence shots using Photoshop.  Does Aperture have the tools to create a sequence shot?

He's refering to pictures like:

    Do you want free or do you want the best, your original post said best, now you are saying free. This is a contraction, there is no such thing as best free. There is such a thing as free and such a thing as best.
    Also is your focus video or photos?????

  • Is it possible to create Panoramic photos in Aperture

    I know it is possible to create Panoramic photos in PS, but was wondering if it is also possibel in Aperture.

    Imho ( ) it is worth understanding the difference between Aperture and programs like it (LR, etc.), and Photoshop.  The difference is compositing.  PS and other Graphics programs are built from the ground up as compositors.  Aperture and its cousins are Digital Asset Managers and digital photo development tools.  You use Aperture to manage your collection of digital photos, and to make any one photo into the best version possible for whatever use you have.  Then you export your digital photos from Aperture, and use them in graphics programs to create new graphics.
    In general, if you are combining things (text, geometric primitives, multiple graphic elements, etc.), you use a graphics program; if you are optimizing a photo for a particular use, you can do it using Aperture.
    For panoramas, I import the photos I'm going to use into Aperture, Stack them and add a color label (so I can see at a glance that these Images are part of that kind of series), check the WB, the export them to a temporary Finder folder.  I use Hugin to open all the exported files and stitch them together.  Then I import the panorama I created using Hugin and place it as the Stack Pick of the Stack, and make whatever additional adjustments I want for the use I have for the panorama.

  • Custom Transformations Scripts: Creating sequences and synonyms

    Is there a way in Data Modeler to script the creating process of sequences and synonyms. I've already found how to create columns in a table, but is it also possible to create sequences and synonyms for tables? I've looked it up in the XML Metadata, but I didn't found where I was looking for? Can anybody help me?

    no documentation, it should be possible:
    seq = model.getStorageDesign().getSequenceSet().createSequence();
    syn =  model.getStorageDesign().getSynonymSet().createSynonym();make sure physical model is open and that model is set as physical model to your relational model. That's for Oracle

  • Workflow on long project - is it possible to link sequences across project files?

    I'm starting a long form project.  Obviously, I'll need to break it down into sections.
    I'm editing a documentary, and the bulk of the film is interveiws with five different characters.  They are all shot with multiple cameras.  I understand how to use the muti-cam editing feature of CS5.5, and it's great.  But, is it possible to create a multi-cam sequence in one project, and then import that sequence into another project, and retain the ability to go back to the multi-cam project and make changes to the edit, and those changes will be automatically updated in the second project?  This seems like it should be possible as it's so similar to the dynamic link feature with After Effects, but it just doesn't seem to work.  After I import the MC edit sequence into a new project it's locked down to the original edit, ie. changes to the original multi-cam sequnece are not updated in the second project.
    I know I can do this if I perform all my editing inside one project, but this seems cumbersome.  This file will have so many clips, bins and sub-folders it's going to be hard to keep track of where I'm at. So it seems to me that by breaking this work down into seperate project files, then assembling them into one main edit project just makes more sense.
    Thanks in advance!
    Steve Keller

    But, is it possible to create a multi-cam sequence in one project, and then import that sequence into another project, and retain the ability to go back to the multi-cam project and make changes to the edit, and those changes will be automatically updated in the second project?
    No, each project is an island. What I mean is that once you import one project into another one, it merges into the "host" project and becomes part of it; all connection to the original project is broken. Sounds like you might be familiar with how Avid works (or used to, maybe? Been awhile.) where a project bin was a standalone file, and if you opened it in another project and made changes, those changes would be made in all projects using the bin/sequence. So, I'm afraid that your proposed workflow won't, well, work.
    That said, there's nothing wrong with working on a bunch of individual projects (might be smart, actually), and then merging those in a final assembly project. The same rule applies, though: any changes you make to the original projects won't be made in the host project, so you'll want to save that until finishing.

  • CREATE SEQUENCE from a stored procedure

    Hello,
    Is it possible, to create a sequence object from an own written stored procedure? Can I reinitialize the actual value of a sequence object without recreating it from a stored procedure?

    You may want to check out the free  Hugin for your panoramic shots.  Download here:    http://hugin.sourceforge.net
    It is a very versatile tools, but you need to set quite a few parameters. You'll have to experiment a bit.

  • Is it possible to create a spatial index on a view?

    Hi
    Is it possible to create a spatial index on a view?
    We would like to link our spatial tables to each other (using only one of the SDO_GEOMETRY fields) in a view & make it very easy so that anybody can work with the data.
    Thanks Caroline.

    Simon,
    In order for autoregistration to work, you first need to make sure that all entries in mdsys.sdo_geom_metadata_table are registered with SDE. All tables not just one schema. None of our spatial tables or views exist in the SDE schema.
    Also make sure all Oracle Spatial tables in sde.table_registry are held in mdsys.sdo_geom_metadata_table.
    When a user makes a database connection in ArcCatalog, all Oracle Spatial tables will be registered with SDE automatically. Also, entries will be inserted into mdsys.sdo_geom_metadata_table and indexes will be created. If you do not have primary key fields, you will have to Register with Geodatabase and it will create the OBJECTID field.
    This did not work for us originally. but after cleaning up metadata and installing SP1, it is working now and it is very convenient.
    VIEWS:
    You have to create the view thru SDE. You cannot register foreign views. There are bugs in support of views containing SDO_GEOMETRY objects. I have been told some problems will be fixed in SP2 and there may be a patch out to address some others.
    Here are the incidents I have filed in reference to views:
    1.
    I created a view consisting of a geometry column from a "foreign" Oracle
    Spatial table (SDO_GEOMETRY) and corresponding attribution in another table.
    I used the following command to create the view through SDE:
    C:\arcgis\arcexe81\BIN>sdetable -o create_view -T gis_v_traffic -t
    "trims_traffi c_geom,traffic" -c
    "trims_traffic_geom.geometry,trims_traffic_geom.fid,traffic.i
    d_number,traffic.aadt" -w "trims_traffic_geom.mslink = traffic.mslink" -u
    gis -p spatial -i esri_sde -s JJ0DN10
    ArcSDE 8.1 Build 832 Thu Mar 22 14:08:07 PST 2001 Attribute Administration
    Utility ----------------------------------------------------- Successfully
    created view gis_v_traffic.
    I can preview the geometries in ArcCatalog without error.
    However, when I try to select a feature in ArcMap I get the following error:
    The instruction at "0x125222dd" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
    memory could not be "read".
    I click ok.
    Then I get this error:
    The insruction at "0x5f8012d3" referenced memory at "0x00000004". the memory
    could not be "read".
    I click ok and ArcMap terminates.
    I can select features from the spatial table the view is pointing to, but
    not from the view itself.
    2.
    I need to create views utilizing database links to tie attribution in other
    databases to geometries created for that data in a spatial database.
    I issued the following command from command prompt and got this error:
    C:\arcgis\arcexe81\BIN>sdetable -o create_view -T link_v_traffic -t
    "trims_traff ic_geom,[email protected]" -c
    "trims_traffic_geom.geometry,trims_traffic_ge
    om.fid,[email protected],[email protected]" -w
    "trims_t raffic_geom.mslink = [email protected]" -u gis -p

    Spatial Views created on Oracle Spatial LRS layers containing SDO_GEOMETRY
    objects are not recognized as feature classes unless they are created with
    the sdetable -o create_view command.
    Here is typical SQL for the view creation:
    create or replace view trims_v_traffic as select a.geometry,
    b.nbr_tenn_cnty, b.nbr_rte, b.spcl_cse, b.cnty_seq, b.tr_beg_log_mle,
    b.tr_end_log_mle, b.yr_trfc, b.aadt, b.pct_peak_hr, b.dhv_pct, b.drct_distr,
    b.vhcl_pass_pickups, b.vhcl_su_trk, b.vhcl_mu_trk, b.actl_cnt, b.updt_by,
    b.updt_on, b.mslink, b.mapid, b.id_number, b.sta_nbr from
    gis.trims_traffic_geom a, gis.traffic b where a.mslink = b.mslink;
    The table containing the SDO_GEOMETRY object is registered with SDE in the
    following manner:
    C:\arcgis\arcexe81\BIN>sdelayer -o register -l trims_traffic_geom,geometry
    -e slM -k SDO_GEOME
    TRY -s JJ0DN10 -i esri_sde -u gis -p spatial -c fid -C SDE
    A feature class is successfully created for this layer and the data can be
    added successfully to a map.
    However, there is no way of adding data to a map from a spatial database
    view containing an SDO_GEOMETRY object which was created externally from
    SDE.
    We are using Oracle Spatial 8.1.7 on NT 4.0. We are also using ArcGIS 8.1
    and ArcSDE 8.1.1.
    4.
    SDE does not support spatial database views which reference snapshot
    objects.
    I was unable to create a view using sdetable -o create_view which referenced
    a snapshot object.
    The snapshot was created using the following sql syntax:
    CREATE SNAPSHOT SNP_TEST
    BUILD IMMEDIATE
    REFRESH FAST
    ON DEMAND
    AS
    SELECT * FROM [email protected]
    We are using ArcSDE 8.1.1 with Oracle 8.1.7 on NT 4.0.
    Here are the permissions I granted, they need to be the same for every schema:
    for sde (these are all the permissions that might be needed for any type of
    activity - new install or upgrade)..lets just step through and go ahead and
    grant them all...
    grant create session to sde;
    grant create table to sde;
    grant create procedure to sde;
    grant create sequence to sde;
    grant create trigger to sde;
    grant unlimited tablespace to sde;
    grant select any table to sde;
    grant create any sequence to sde;
    grant create any procedure to sde;
    grant execute any procedure to sde;
    grant drop any procedure to sde;
    grant select any sequence to sde;
    grant create any view to sde;
    grant drop any view to sde;
    grant create any trigger to sde;
    grant drop any sequence to sde;
    each Oracle user will also need the following privileges...
    grant create session to gis;
    grant create table to gis;
    grant create procedure to gis;
    grant create sequence to gis;
    grant create trigger to gis;
    grant unlimited tablespace to gis;

  • Cannot create sequence with nocache

    hi there,
    actual I try Raptor build 919 and I have a problem with creating sequences with NOCACHE using the wizzard.
    When I want to create a sequence with NOCACHE, the DDL shown in the wizzard is: CREATE SEQUENCE SEQUENCE1 INCREMENT BY 1 START WITH 1 MAXVALUE 10 MINVALUE 1 ;
    So the sequence is created with CACHE and cache size 20. After creating it is possible to switch the sequence to NOCACHE.

    I just checked in our bug database and this was fixed in our development version 1060 so it will be fixed in our next Early Adopter release (post v919).

  • I have a sequence shot on the 550d/rebel T2i, I converted it to prores 422 and edited in fcp. What is the best export that i can do to preserve quality and prevent pixelation.

    i have a sequence shot on the 550d/rebel T2i, I converted it to prores 422 in MPEG Streamclip and edited in fcp. What is the best export that i can do to preserve quality and prevent pixelation. Rite now, i have been just clicking on the export to quicktime function, but the quality of the footage is completely reduced and colours look desaturated and there is pixellation compared to the original camera footage. Also is there anyway i can render and export the sequence using the original footage (like an online edit or something). Also is there anyway to upgrade the final quality. I have Compressor, Dvd Studio pro, Motion, Color and Cinema tools, i dnt know if they are of any use to me and have no idea how to use hem or what they are for also.

    >What is the best export that i can do to preserve quality and prevent pixelation
    The best way to export is entirely dependent on what you plan to do with the exported video.  For example, if you plan to go to DVD, the export process is different than if you plan for web delivery or for iPhone viewing.  Compressor has presets for most final delivery formats ... start with those.
    >is there anyway i can render and export the sequence using the original footage
    Yes.  In FCP, go to File-Export->QuickTime Movie.  Check the box to make the movie Self-Contained and use Current Settings.  Do NOT "Recompress All Frames."   The resulting self-contained movie will play on any Mac that has the needed audio and video codecs installed.
    >is there anyway to upgrade the final quality
    No and maybe.  While you technically cannot improve quality over the original, you can possibly 'enhance'  the aesthetic quality of the video using various filters in FCP or Color.

  • Is it possible to create non mandatory advertisement ,to rech client fast.

    We want to create a non mandatory advertisement ,which can reach the client fast
    is there any way to create a non mandatory advertisement to reach the client fast.
    anyone has any idea???

    thanks Garth
    Yes , I thought in mandatory it will go fast, thanks for clearing the doubt,
    actually we were deploying the applications through mandatory task sequence at the time of machine build
    we wanted this particular application to advertised fast so that it will sit in rap after immediate execution of task sequence we have to run this.
    Previously we were using it as non mandatory advertisement and it was taking too long to reach the client.
    now I got the solution :

  • Is it possible to create a customs declaration for the document which is cleraed from customs

    Hi Experts,
    I want to generate a custom declaration for the declaration which is cleared from customs.
    Is there any function module for this requirement.
    Please post your suggestions ASAP.
    Thanks
    Srinivas

    hi Srinivas,
    It’s not possible to create a new declaration for a declaration that is
    already accepted by customs. There could be below 2 possible options
    1. U need inbound cancellation messages in the respective activity sequence,
    and then u can request customs by mail or phone to send the cancellation
    message. Once the cancellation message is received document gets cancelled and
    u can create new declaration
    2. U need a new optional activity sequence that will have outbound
    cancellation message. once u trigger the cancellation message, customs will
    reply back with the cancellation confirmation message and u can create a new
    declaration
    Hope this helps...

    if when i create one table with sequence in that table when i want to add any value use jsp script how can i declare sequence data type?
    for example
    in sql command line = INSERT INTO test VALUES( some_sequence.nextval
    and how can i defind some_sequence.nextval in jsp page ?
    what should i use ? string or int

    Yes, it's possible to create classes inside JSP files.
    <%!
    class Whatever {
       String variable = "java";

  • Possible to define Sequence in NW71 dataobjects

    Hi There,
    Is it possible to define sequencing in Dataobjects in NW7.1 like NW7.0.
    I know LDO->FDO (leading,following data object) and association,distribution rules takes care of it while sending the data to Client.
    But what if we want to create two linked dataobject records from client and we want that LDO should be created first and then FDO should be created based on LDO generated records and vice versa.
    Thanks in advance!!
    Cheers,
    Dev

    HI,
    It is not possible to define sequence of data objects being processed in NW 7.1
    This is lead from the fact that as much as possible, data is processed parallely in DOE and its a strength that no special handling is required while sending data via DOE like following a specific sequence.
    Even if we manage to post data (for diff data objects) to DOE from client or BE or even while extracting to devices, since the processing happens in parallel queues,  the end result cannot be predicted.
    only exception is in the case of backward compatible applications, there is a feature called download request where the data will be sent to devices depending on the sequence mentioned in download request during sync.Its only for backward compatible apps and infact performance will be affected due to this overhead in processing.
    Any specific business case that requires this behavior?
    Best regards,
    Liji
