Is it possible to create subfolders with movies in them?

I have a new Ipad. On an extrenal harddisk I have folders with pictures that Ive taken from the iPhone & I use this to sync up the iPad...something like
Girls 1st birthday
Girls 2 Year Old
Girls 3 year Old
Movies
THis works great, so I have all our daughters photos nicley categorised in the folders. In the Movies folder, I have all my MP4 movies. the trouble is, that ALL of the movies are in the one foler titled MOVIES. Ive tried to create subfolders in here, but I cant seem to get this to work.
The iPad sync says "copying photo 1 of 13"...so it looks like its doing it, but when you go to view the Movies folder, the subfolders items arent there.
Any ideas?

You used the 2ond solution(google???),put in the dashboard...html enabled...and check your pdf again.
Moreover,printing pdf with answer is discouraged...always prefer Xml Publisher.

I suggest you you write a stored procedure that returns a recordset in oracle. Then execute the stored procedure and loop through the record set.
Look in in MS Knowledgebase searching on ADO Stored Proceedures for the VB/C++/VBS .. code.
Look in in Oracle PL/SQL guide for the Stored Proceedure code.

I have tried the following : List of mailboxes, clicked on inbos where I want to insert the folder and clicked edit, the following appear; mark, delete and move. In short, no. With a pop account, you simply get a dump from the mail providers server. And the built in mail program does not support additional folders.
For me, that got to be a big enough issue that I changed mail providers to an imap system.

How to create subfolders with names corresponding to the filenames

Hello outhere,
sorry to ask this here, but I'm a complete noob with Actionscript.
Can anybody please tell me if this is possible at all and perhaps give me some hint how to manage this:
I would like to be able to do something like this:
I have a source folder with files.
The files do have different extensions, which are not important for the actions
The filenames consist of a 8digit, some have some additional strings which are not important for the action.
Example filename: 14123456.tif or 1423456YT.jpg
I would like to create a folder structure where each of the 8digits of the filenames represents a subfolder (which needs to be created when not there) and then move the file into this subfolder, overwriting exinsting files with the same name without prompt.
So for the file 14123456YT.jpg the script should create a folder structure like:
Foler "1" with a subfolder "4", with a subfolder "1" etc. and move then this file into this subfolder. Again: it is only about 8 digits, if there are addition strings after the 8th digit, this does not need a subfolder (like "Y" in the above example". The next file in the source might have a complete different number.
I do not expect that somebody creates this for me, not at all.
But before I dive into the Applescript I would like to know if this is possible at all. Of course I would be happy for any hints to scripts that are similar to what I want so that I can use this as a starting point.

It looks like (on a British system with "." as the decimals separator), coercion from a string to an integer will round up with a "." - "1234.567" becomes 1235 - and will ignore a "," - the same string becomes "1234567". On a continental system, this will likely be the other way around.
In these circumstances, I think the only option you have is to iterate through every character to check that it's a number. This will take slightly longer, but it will at least guarantee that nothing other than a number will work. I have made the change below. Note that the 'exit repeat' takes you out of the repeat loop as soon as an illegal character is found.

Possible to create buttons with Pages '09?

I am currently working on a project that requires the input of interviewees. This is only a project for an upper-division class at the undergraduate level, so formal methods are kind of thrown out the window. Nevertheless, it's for 35% of my final grade so hopefully someone can help.
I would just interview people in person, but I am interviewing people across the country (friends and family). Because of schedule conflicts, I need to create a questionnaire that they can fill out digitally and then return to me via email. I would like to create buttons for their responses (i.e., Yes, No, Maybe, etc.), but cannot find any way to do so. I know it is possible to do in Microsoft Word (which I do not have because I swore of all Microsoft products as soon as I got my Mac back in fall of 2009). Is there a way to do this in Pages? If not, any suggestions how I may format my document so that answers can be marked with an X, or possible web-based solutions?

I have about 750 pictures and 100 movies in iPhoto, organized into albums, that I'd like to burn a slideshow DVD out of. However, I can't find any way to do it automatically. I have about 750 pictures and 100 movies in iPhoto,
organized into albums, that I'd like to burn a
slideshow DVD out of. However, I can't find any way
to do it automatically. The only way I've come up

Is it possible to create table with partition in compress mode

Hi All,
I want to create a table in compress option, with partitions. When i create with partitions the compression isnt enabled, but with noramal table creation the compression option is enables.
My question is:
cant we create a table with partition/subpartition in compress mode..? Please help.

Now, I bet you check COMPRESSION value of partitioned table same way you do it for a non-partitioned table - in USER_TABLES - and therefore get wrong results. Since compreesion can be enabled on individual partition level you need to check COMPRESSION in USER_TAB_PARTITIONS:

Cannot create volumes with "dashes" in them anymore?

With NetWare 6.5.8 (NCS 1.8 I think) we could create a CLUSTERED Volume object with a "dash" in the name
Example:
CR1-HOME1
But it seems in iManager/NSSMU with OES2 Linux, that you can no longer use dashes?
