Hi,
The spammers have got me good this time!! I am getting tens of emails a day asking if I want to buy gold. The problem is that I can't seem to create a rule to filter these out. The subject and sender are always different, and usually garbage. Also the email has no content, rather a gif image which is 8kb in size. I do tend to get a lot of emails from people who are not in my address book, so that option is not available to me. The only way I could imagine filtering these messages was to create a rule that if message contains attatchment 8kb (they are always the same size in my experience), then move to junk. Of course this rule seems impossible. How do you guys filter these messages out. I was already at the end of my tether with the gold stock options, but now I am also getting emails asking to buy a ring of some sorts!!!..... Any help please! Thanks

No single strategy is completely effective when it comes to managing spam. People who are intent on sending spam are ingenious at coming up with ways around any filtration schemes.
You can add a number of rules in an attempt to resolve the problem but doing so in regards to spam is like a dog chasing his tail.
In case you have unintentionally/unknowingly added to the problem regarding this increase in spam received, check Why was I "spammed" at my .Mac Mail address? which applies to any email account and How HTML Email Messages Relate to Unsolicited Commercial Email ("spam") which applies to any email client such as the Mail.app.

You could use an art brush to assign ink stroke like these to a line.
Create a brush type shape that's in a straight horizontal line with the desired beginning, end and edges.
Then Brushes > New Brush > Art Brush will create an art brush. (whilst the shape is selected)
With just one brush you will be quite limited, but with a selection of brushes generated in this way you can create a selection of brushes to deal with the various requirements of building a brush font that has some integrity.
You will find that despite automating the brush process to an extent, that to create lettering like you examples, you will have to make a lot of tweaks.

I am interested in creating a mask shape where I can use it to identify something on the screen inside the shape with the surrounding area darker.
In FCP 6/7, I used to just add a slug on top of the clip, add a mask shape, tweak it, invert it and lower the opacity.
Any thoughts?

in the Info board, select the Color Correction

Is it possible to make this type of network with router i have?

I have Linksys WRT54GC router at home and i share internet to all my PCs through the router.
Is it possible to share internet firstly through my PC, and then through this router to all other pcs? If it is possible how i should configure my router? If not - do i have to buy some kind of switch to make this type of network?
Example scheme:

I have now this configuration of my PC's and router, but internet on PC2 is not working, but PC2 and router see each other. But ping between PC1 and router (192.168.0.1 192.168.0.2) says "no response":

It is not clear to me what the exact problem is. The screenshots show that everything is correct. The second PC should have internet with this setup. PC1 won't be able to ping the router on 192.168.0.2 if you block ICMP (anonymous WAN requests) on the router. That setting should be on the Security tab.
I would suggest to set up the WRT as simple wireless access point. That way you still have full LAN connectivity between all your computers. To do that, you have to temporarily wire a computer to a LAN port of the router. Unplug the gateway computer from the router! There is only a single computer connected to the WRT at the moment.
Open http://10.10.10.1/ or whatever LAN IP address you have set on the WRT at the moment. On the Setup tab, change the internet connection type to "Automatic/DHCP", change the LAN IP address from 10.10.10.1 to 192.168.0.2, disable the DHCP server. Now press the save settings button. You'll loose the connection to the router. That's OK.
Now rewire the router. Connect a LAN port of the router to the gateway computer. Do not use the internet port on the WRT! That is the basic setup.
Now wired computers connected to the remaining 3 LAN ports on the WRT should have LAN and internet access. In the same way, wireless clients connect into the ICS LAN and have internet.

Why do you want to subtype, why can't you just extend the OOTB siteConfiguration
I don't really know if ATG allow subtyping siteConfiguration and how its going to work with multiple siteConfiguration type, but I would suggest you to extend the siteConfiguration if that is something which works for your requirement.

Is it possible to create Order type with different number ranges-Plant wise

Client wants to get the different number ranges for the order types created in the different plants. Is there any user exit for the same.
I have assigned the order type to the different plants. And Order type is assigned to a no range. So whenever a order type is created in different plants; order types uses the same number ranges.
so with this situation one cann't know the total no. of order created within a plant.
Is there any solution for the same.

Best way is to create different order types for different plants.
like we have order types OR15 ,OR20 & OR30 for different plants 1500 ,2000 & 3000 .
you can assign different number range for different order type.

If I understand correctly the »thing« about this Brush is that it creates individual lines that interact with existing strokes by fanning them out when in proximity to an existing path.
I think this is not possible with a Brush in Photoshop what with it being a pixel oriented application (with some vector functionality, though, fortunately).

I've been trying to create a new "PUBLIC DATABASE LINK" that will connect two instances located on different places geographically speaking. The fist step I took was to create an entry on local tnsnames.ora file, using NETMGR and after, the second step, I created the DBLINK with the following syntax:
CREATE PUBLIC DATABASE LINK "DBX"
CONNECT TO <user> IDENTIFIED BY <pass>
USING '<service_configured_with_netmgr>';
So, the message Oracle gave me after issuing the command above was "public database link "DBX" created". Finishing this ride, I selected the number 1 from dual@DBX and the result was...

I haven't done much of this, so I'm only speculating.
I think you are seeing the effects of implicit conversions.

So when it goes to the other, you get a too-bit-too-fit error. I would expect more to be different than just the two NLS you listed, though, are the db charactersets different? Perhaps someone else is set up to test these things.
There are various bugs associated with these two NLS settings, maybe you are hitting a consequential one (that is, you are seeing the effects of a bug that is unknown or listed as having different effects). Search MOS bugs for the settings. Do you have any other errors in the alert log or in any apps? What patch level/version/platform are you on?

How Can I Create This Type of Workflow?

1. I need to create an editable workflow, for example a workflow that starts once you add a "Ms Word" document in a folder, then the initiater gets to choose who will be the firts reviewer and the who will be the second reviewer of the
docuemnt.
2. can I have my workflows in a library and applied to multiple folders, where you have different pre maid workflows to choose from and then have your work collegues choose whcih one to pick.

The first one can be done by creating approval steps that plug into a Person/group look-up from your form. Have SPD return this as an email address and you can fairly easily configure something that will allow your users to input thier approvers.
I'll have a think on the second item, I think this will be harder to set-up.

How can i create this type of texture?

I'm trying to replicate/create the texture in this poster. It looks to me like a fresh paint brush strokes or some plywood.

Mylenium is an After Effects kind of a guy, which apparently is the go to app for fractal noise, although Render Clouds and fibers are also considered to be fractal noise. I actually tried to duplicate the texture, and while I got close, it was not close enough to put up as a suggestion. This has a base layer of a mid green, with an overlaying layer in which I used Render Clouds with blend mode set to Vivid Light. The trick is in selecting the right foreground and background colours, and then repeatedly using Ctrl Alt f to reapply render clouds with new random settings.
This is the same layer with some 90° Motion blur applied, and high settings of Smart Sharpen. Also set to Vivid Light.
Something else to try is adding some noise to your render clouds if you are going to use Motion blur, because it gives motion blur something to work on. After adding the noise, you need to soften it just a tiny bit (Blur > Blur more). Then Smart Sharpen again, but you'll need much lower settings this time.
I know that several requests for better Photoshop fractal noise have been put on the Photoshop feedback site, but the master of this stuff is Bert Monroy, and I can't actually remember him using Render Fibers (the other noise generator along with clouds and difference clouds). Bert tends to use noise and motion blur, because you get more predictable, and definitely more even results than from render fibers.

I'm new to java so I would like a hint from experts on how to create such a form :
A form that displays Customer's Codes and their name from Oracle database , so that they appear in the form as a list of 2 columns , what kind of compnents I should use to display this kind of data ? JTextField ? I dont think so .... . And also I would like to highlight each other line so that the list looks good , then at the top of the list I want a filter so that the data is filtered each time I enter a character . The last thing is how to make the data displayed have the ability to be dragged to another form in the application so that it fills the corresponding fields relative to the data dragged ?
Too much ha? . Please just provide hints/ideas about each point as I know it can be time consuming to give details about all this.

Can you create this type of circle?

i am trying to make a logo and have the logo the logo surrounded by a circle.
the logo has two letters in the center and then a circle going around it.
is it possible to make the circle thickness the same as the thickness of the strokes in the letters?
how do you set the parameters for this?

Easy.
Measure the stroke width of a letter.
Maybe copy/paste part of it and use Info to find the value.
Then enter the same value as the stoke weight of the circle.
Don't forget to enter the units (cm, mm, in, pt) before you click on Return, otherwise you will get points by default which is probably not the measuring unit that you're using.

Check the code in compositionReady for the next and back buttons. Basically it increment 90 degrees every time you click next and opposite side when you click back.
Click on container div and see that it has the perspective_1200 center class.
