Is it possible to disable auto scroll

When my cursor moves to an edge of a spreadsheet that has additional content
not visible in the window the window automatically scrolls in that direction.
Also if a part of a cell is visible putting the cursor in that cell automatically
scrolls that cell to become fully visible.
This is very irritating.
I’ve left feedback.
Does anyone know how to disable this?

I am not aware Numbers has this "feature". The only panning feature I know of comes from the OS and can be controlled by zooming in using the Universal access.
Universal Access can be found in System Preferences (menu item " > System Preferences"):

There's no way to disable the URL. Trashing the History (User Account>Library>Safari folder) and Metadata files (User Account>Library>Cache>Metadata and Safari folders) minimizes the prompts. Purging all Bookmarks helps too. However, the actual function of the prompts is built into the application's software, so it simply starts to rebuild the prompts again.
If you don't want to see prompts, simply press the space-bar once before entering a URL. That's the only work-around. If you don't want Safari to record your browsing activity, select "Private Browsing" in the Safari Menu each time you open Safari.

Disabling "auto scroll to the bottom function" on JScrollPane

Hi all!
I have a little problem with JScrollPane.
I have a JEditor Pane on my JScrollPane which content type is text/html. When the content of html code is too large scrollbars are appear and vertical scrollbar automatically scrolls down to the bottom of my JEditorPane. How can I disable this "function", because I don't want to see the bottom of the page after contet is loaded. (Only in case when the user scrolls down manually.)

Is it possible to disable auto-update to E10S in Nightly?

Whenever Nightly updates, it automatically updates me to E10S versions that become available. I don't want this feature, as all it has done so far is give me trouble with basic things like menus not working properly, etc. Is there a way to reset Nightly so that it does NOT automatically download E10S updates and only downloads stable non-E10S updates instead?
I need more control over what Nightly automatically updates itself to, and when! Is this possible whilst still getting the benefits from stable ready for release updates as they become verified and available?
I have noticed that the E10S checkbox in the options menu becomes checked, when I never even touched it, why is E10S enabled by default when it shouldn't be? Procedurally written update code shouldn't ever do this to their users and this needs fixing ASAP!

Disable auto-scrolling or real-time rendering in CS6

I work at a radio station and volunteers come in to read for a special reader service for the blind. When they record into Audition, the scrolling waveform is a distraction. In AA 3.0 there was a way to keep the screen from scrolling once the cursor went beyond the initial view. I can't figure out how to do that in CS6. The other thing I was thinking was to try and disable the waveform from rendering at all until after the recording was done.

I see. If the view is fully zoomed-out, then it will continue to maintain that view as the waveform fills the display and new space is allotted. If you zoom in a single "notch" it should stop that.
I just tried the trick of exposing the separate Transport panel and closing the Editor panel, which would work if you've already created the empty file to record into. However, when you begin recording, the panel does open itself. You can close it again and keep it hidden from view.
You may also want to make this panel very small, or create a "Recording" workspace, where it's sized very small if it's that distracting to the readers.

[Feature Request] Option to disable auto-scrolling

Please provide an option to get rid of that automatical scrolling to end of conversations when someone texts in it. Can't read older content on my Android phone when people keep writing.

This makes Skype unusable with group chats!
Also, if I scroll up, open an older link, when I get back to Skype it autoscrolls down to bottom of the conversation - that is also really bad, I typically want to continue reading from where I left.

Disabling auto scroll in Flex Navigator

Hi.
How do I disable the vertical autoscroll, when I use the Flex Navigator.
When I click a file in the Flex Navigator, it centers the file vertically in the Flex Navigator, byt when I go up or down the "tree" it autoscrolls left and right, depending on where my mouse cursor is. It is really a big issue for me, so I would like to disable that part, so it just works as all other tree navigation in windows.
This was never a problem, when I used Win XP, but now i use Windows 7, but it is only in Flex Builder(3) i get this strange behavoir.

Disable auto-scroll when using shape tool in full screen

I have a task that requires tracing in full screen mode on an image that is exactly the same size and resolution as the screen. Unfortunately when I draw shapes near the edges the screen scrolls even though there is nothing more to show. This makes me have to move the screen back into alignment over and over, or settle on using paint tools only near the edges.
Does anyone know how to turn off this "feature"?

Is it possible to disable auto reloading, permanently, for one specific URL?

msnbc.com is supposed to auto-reload its home page every however often, 30 minutes I think. But the reload never stops, probably because of my AdBlock settings for the site. I want to permanently stop msnbc.com from reloading. I've searched thoroughly with many keywords, and though I've found many extensions that will reload pages or set auto-reload intervals, I can't find anything that *stops* auto-reload. I'd appreciate any help.

Not sure if I completely understand your dilema. I don't know of any way to pause a FMR, however, I may be able to help with plan B. I have a widget called Repo Playbar that allows you to reposition the playbar AND show/hide any playbar buttons, including the play/pause button. Have a look here.

I literally have never wanted it to hyphen, and it's obnoxious having to select the text and turn it off.

The new document profiles they are referring to are located in this location
HD\Users\(user name)\Library\Application Support\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS#\en_US\New Document Profiles
Make the change to that file, and then save/clsoe the file. When you create a new doucment using that profile, hyphenation will be off.
You can record an action to make changing exisiting text blocks easier.

I am storing URL references to detail datasets in the master
dataset.
Everthing works well when there is only one parameter (i.e.
service.php?param=value).
But when more that one parameter is required, Spry
automatically htmlencodes it.
It converts
service.php?param1=value1&param2=value2
to
service.php?param1=value1&param2=value2
which does not work.
I've tried to escape the '&' a number of ways.

You hit the nail on the head!
using modes would apply the mode setting to each string type
in the record. I want to preserve encoding for all string, except
the url. Spry.Utils.decodeEntities() on a PostLoad is the best
answer, but requires the most work. The reference you gave me
pointed out a temporary fix that reverts back to the deprecated
treatment of strings. Because my url fields are CDATA encapsulated,
the deprecated method would not touch it.
So a tempory and quick fix it to use the option
entityEncodeStrings:-1 when creating the XMLDataSet. This reverts
back to the deprecated string treatment for CDATA encapsulated
string data.
I think the deprecated method makes more sense. If I don't
want the string modified, CDATA it. It is a more efficient
approach. With the new method, I have to loop through each record
to decode. This stuff is already slow. Having to loop through data,
post load, slows it down even more.

How do you enable Auto Scroll in a sequence pane, and MIDI devices?

I am just getting used to Garage Band for the first time. I am finding that Garage Band is much easier to deal with than Mark Of the Unicorn from a musical standpoint.
I am now converting my many MIDI sequences to GB. I have run into these three issues that I cannot seem to figure out.
1. I have both the "Main Secuence" pane and the "Piano Roll/Score" pane arranged vertically. But the Secuence pane auto scrolls, as the timing progresses, but the "Piano Roll/Score" pane does not. How do I get these two windows to enable/disable auto scroll?
2. How do I select from a starting bar to ending bar, for a given track, coping it, and pasting it to another track in the another track's sequence point?
3. How do I add other MIDI decices that I have pysically connected, and assign specific tracks to these physical MIDI divices and their defined Timbers?

With your help, you have answered both questions 1 and 3.
Concerning question 2, I can see that when I click on the track header, the entire track is selected, but I am trying to physically select from one bar to another in that track.
I've tried clicking on the start bar and draging to the end and releasing. The whole track is still selected.
I've tried holding down the Shift key and doing the same. Still the whole track is still selected.
I guess I am missing the basics of marking and selecting the start and end point from within a basic track.
I'm already much farhter along with your help, and I appreciate your help, very much!

Why does the history/library window auto-scroll away from the previous point in the library?

When in Firefox 23.0's history/library window when I am browsing it will auto-scroll to the top of "Today" page making it frustrating and difficult to browse. I do not seem to recall this being the case before. I disabled "auto-scroll" in options and this has not remedied the problem.

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

Disable mouse scroll in plugins?

I use the Apple Magic Mouse, and while it is a great mouse, I've found AU plugin windows are very sensitive to scrolling commands. My hand will be resting on the mouse and whichever control in a plugin GUI I happen to be hovering over will jump.
Is it possible to disable mouse scrolling to control parameters? I'd turn the scrolling off altogether but using it for zooming and navigating in the arrange and other windows is essential.

That's a work around I've been trying to do this morning as seems to be easiest solution, but when I change next page to visible in my button, then add next action on button to either "next page" or the next page number, livecycle goes to the page after the one I have just made visible.
