Is it possible to disable form autocompletion in Firefox 4 but only for secure sites?

In general I want to use the autocomplete function but I don't want it to remember my credit card numbers. I just want to disable the feature for https sites.

Firefox 4 should use an algorithm to check form data for the presence of a credit card number and prevent it from getting saved as form data. So you can try to check if that works in your case.

Newsletter sign up form works in Firefox but not IE??

Hi, I have a website I am designing using dreamweaver CS3 and I added a newsletter sign up form using a 3rd party code. The form on the website looks perfectly fine in Firefox but the form fields are not present in IE. Does anyone know why this may be happening? The site is www.physioworks4me.com and I apologise in advance for my coding as I am just learning and not very good at this yet. I took the code that was supplied for the sign up form, opened up a brand new 'plain' html doc in dreamweaver, pasted the code and tried it. It seemed to work fine in both IE and FF....but when I use my template for the webpage I made, it will not work. I am using a XHTML page, could this be a problem with the javascript used for the sign up form? Thanks in advance for your help...

Also, you may have quicker results changing to a HTML Transitional doctype.

I keep receiving a prompt that my account has been disabled, but not for secruity reasons. I had problems almost half a year ago with unauthorized purchases. When I asked Apple about the purchases, instead of providing answers, they said they would disable the account. Not only is that awful customer service and not answering my question, it's a HUGE pain in the butt because I just want to download some music legally!!! Does anyone in Apple Universe have any suggestions before I rip the rest of my hair out?

Is it possible to sync to/from two computers but only sync from a third (no upload to third/work computer, but download from it)?

Is this possible:
Two directional sync (to/from) of history, bookmarks, etc on two computers and only unidirectional sync (from only, not to) on a third? I have sync set up on my work computer and I like knowing my work history when at home or on my laptop, but I don't want all of my home history being sent to the work computer. Is there a way to have a two directional sync between 2 computers but only send history from, but not to, a third computer?
As it stands now, if someone at work would get on my history it would look like I have been looking up flights and buying things on the internet at work, but I only do that at home.

As far as I know, you can only access the iTunes store of the country you are currently in.

Yeha, I ran multiple times through the options of beta 4 but couldn't find any solutions do deactivate the autocompletion in forms. E.g. e-mail addresses or usernames.

Firefox (or Tools) > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"

Your friend would have to disable iMessage. As far as your phone is concerned, since you have connected with her via iMessage, it will always try that.

HT204053 My apple id works, is in Icloud , itunes, as soon as I go to download the app, it disables my apple ID, and not not for security reasons to start the process over all ready did that 1000 times.

2. I pick a app
3. it immediatly disables apple ID
4. changed password. many times
5. Changed email
6. all quesiton on apple site and editing I can do with the ID
7. It will not download any apps at all.
8. Support did in fact get rid of my old email and told me to use a new one. so I did.
9. It is the software. and they need to bring the engineering back to the United states I am not the only one this happnes to. with thier out sourced security that works like garbage. Even the Itunes work say so..to me.

Disable pinch to zoom, but only for resizing icons?

On my shiny new 17" MacBook Pro (my first ever MacBook, which I'm loving!) I keep inadvertently resizing my Finder/desktop icons using the trackpad. Can I switch off the pinch to zoom gesture for this purpose, without switching it off entirely?

you can try BetterTouchTool (search using google) and set for finder to use the pinch gestures to do something like volume up or some key combo. It works pretty well. If you try this method and have and questions, let me know.

I can log into my account on line but cannot download apps or anything from Itunes. Have been to the support page and that has been useless! What is the problem does anyone know how to fix this.
I can't even update my current apps or phone for that matter. Is anyone at Apple looking into this? It was working a little over a week ago and now it is not.

My form autocomplete shows blank drop down menus with 'Form History' still stated beside the blanks when I type in entries I previously entered.

It is remembering what I entered, but the options are blank. Please help, this is really annoying. I also lose form history (when it was working properly) after I leave Firefox idle for more than 5 minutes. It's been like that for a long time, but my form history (autocomplete) used to stay intact if I left the computer for a bit. I know exactly how to use my privacy options, they are set the way I always had them set when form autocomplete used to work properly for me.

Yep, this is def a problem with the google toolbar. I did find that if you turn off the google autofill, you can keep the toolbar enabled and the problem goes away. The browser then uses Firefox's autofill instead. Thanks for leading me down the right track. I didn't want to lose Google toolbar, but not having form history has been a pain, since i use it for shipping packages and not having it makes it time consuming.

Possible to disable hotlinks in iPhone Notes??

I find it annoying that in Notes on the iPhone, it always creates hotlinks to the calendar when I type in a date or time and a web URL. I'm not too bothered by the URL's but would like to be able to disable at least the hotlinks to the Calendar when I simply type in a time or date.
Is it possible to disable this?

I just submitted a feature request to Apple to add an option for this. Hopefully it'll show up in a future update.

You can disable both Audio & Video by Disabling both AllowIPAudio & AllowIPVideo.
Set-CsConferencingPolicy gloabl -AllowIPAudio $False -AllowIPVideo $False
Or you can go to Control Panel and go to Conferencing TAB and adjust the Conferencing Policies from there.
