Is it possible to disable - Outlook Calendar Email Notifications?

Hi all, hope you are well.
I have recently had a query from a PA to an MD where she makes a change to an appointment in his calendar even a simple edit, he obviously receives notification of this change. I have looked pretty much all over and am not familiar with such a function but
is anyone aware if it possible to disable this function as that is what they are asking for to happen.
So she manages his calendar and when she makes changes he receives the email notification, the question is simply is anyone aware of a way to disable this function? I'm of the opinion that if there is it will be a global rather than explicit function.
The other option I thought was to setup a rule in Outlook to delete such notifications I guess?
EXCHANGE 2010 AND OUTLOOK 2010 are in play here

As per the information and details provided by you, to disable Outlook calendar, email notification, please follow these steps: -
Step 1: - Open the
Outlook Options menu (File-Options).
Step 2: - Click the
“Mail” tab.
Step 3: - Adjust your notification settings under the
Message arrival section. You may disable all notifications, or pick and choose from the available settings.
Step 4: -
Desktop Alert Settings allow you to adjust the timing and transparency of the pop-up alert.
Step 5: - Click
OK when complete.

Do you mean the missed call notification or the actual email with the audio file? If it's the email with the audio file, then no, this is not possible as the email is the voicemail. It's the same object.

In Exchange 2013, all Outlook connectivity (Internal and External) are using Outlook Anywhere anyways. It is not recommended to use the following command to disable Outlook Anywhere for a specific user:
Set-CASMailbox UserA -MAPIBlockOutlookRpcHttp $True
If you disable it, the UserA would not be able to access the mailbox from both Internal Outlook client (Office) and external Outlook client (Home).
For your requirement about disable Outlook anywhere for some few users instead of all external users, there seems to be no method to achieve it directly in Exchange server. Sorry for any inconvenience.

How can I disable the new email notification pop-up window?

When I am trying to perform timed Lumosity games and the new email notification window pops up over the window I'm working in, it's very disconcerting and bothersome. I'd like to disable this auto pop up, but can't find out how to do so.

Is it possible to transfer outlook Calendar and Contacts across to iCal and Address Book

I am a recent convert to iMac from Windows and would like to transfer my calendar and contact details to iCal and Address Book rather than manual enter them. Is this possible?

I don't have an answer for you unfortunately, however I am seeing a similar issue. I posted a thread about this specific to Outlook 14.2.1 syncing to iCal 5.0 via OS X Lion (10.7). Adding information on what platform(s) you are working on may be a help in getting this resolved and in addition you can watch the thread I posted if you are on the same OS X as me as I am having issues syncing from Outlook to iCal on all Mac devices. Outlook Calendar Email Display Name and Reply to Name

I need help to change the display email address and reply-to-email address used when I create and send calendar invitations from Outlook.
Here is my setup.
I am using Outlook 2013 that is connected to an Exchange server.
I have 2 email systems.
My main email system is NOT using Outlook. All of my emails flow through, as an example, [email protected]
Outlook is used only for my contacts and calendar. For this email let's call it [email protected]
Right now when I send a calendar invite it comes from [email protected] and the reply-to-address is [email protected]
I would like the "from name" and "reply-to" name for all calendar invites to be displayed at [email protected]
My [email protected] will redirect all calendar invites to [email protected]
How can I configure Outlook to do this?

So to my understanding there are 2 different email systems: one handling the @email1.com, based on Postfix/sendmail/Exchange/<other mail server> and one handling the @email2.com based on Exchange.
If you add an accepted domain in your Exchange organization - @email1.com - then you'll be able to add the [email protected] address to the list of email addresses stamped on your Exchange mailbox. Following this, the recently added address can be specified
as reply-to address (Primary SMTP Address). On the other email system, you'll have to use @email1.com as an internal relay accepted domain (similar to the notion described
here) and configure a connector to send email to the Exchange organization for @email2.com. As for the forwarding itself - if that system is also Exchange - the 'targetAddress' attribute could be used, which will instantly forward the email to the '[email protected]'
value that should be stamped inside (see
this link); if a different email system, then the equivalent feature of 'targetAddress' should be used.
Yet the whole setup is cumbersome to say at least. Could you give more details about what is it you're trying to achieve at a higher level ?

Stop or Disable Apple ID Email Notification for Signing on Different Device

I have many devices to sign onto my email. Each time I use a different device, Apple send me an email like this.

Can't I just verify that I use these other devices and web browsers and disable this feature? Or is there away to just stop getting these? How do I do this or who do I call? Not sure. It was implemented shortly after the fiasco with the celebrity photos being put out on the internet, so it may be in place to alert people any time either iCloud or Find My iPhone are accessed to ensure that unauthorized access does not occur.
I have similar alerts set for my Amex Card and my Debit Card. On those, however, one does have the option to have them on or off. Possibly that will be the direction Apple goes at some point....

Disabling stock calendar app notifications.

I'm using a third party calendar application and even though I have disabled alerts for the stock calendar app (it is under do not include in notification center), I still get duplicate alerts before an event - one from the stock app and one from the 3d party app.. For what it is worth, I have shared calendar alerts turned off and I have unselected all of my sycned calendars in the stock app so that if you look at the today view no events are shown.

As far as I can tell, the default alerts are all turned off. Under the "Defaul alert times" setting all three (birthdays, events, and all-day events) are set to none. I'm wondering if the fact that I have notifications turned on for the calendar on my MBP is someone interfereing. I'm going to turn them off and see what happens. Thanks for your suggestion, though.

Is it possible stop ical from sending email notifications for updates I make on my share ical calendar?

Very annoying for the person I am sharing my calendar with to get an email every time I change something.

Great idea Lofty! thanks. If the person you are sharing a calendar with is a Yahoo Mail user, you only need to set up one filter (under Options - Mail Options - Filters) and route to Spam folder or a special folder for that purpose.
Add a filter with the following parameters:
Sender contains: "Your First and Last Name" as it appears in the emails they are receiving
Subject contains: "Your First Name"
Email body contains: "iCloud"
Don't need to match case on anything.
So far, only these unwanted emails are being routed to the folder I chose.
Hope that helps until Apple gets it's act together

a) Normal notification has a header like below:

We double check this issue at Scheduling Overview and every day it is expected Collector Runs at 0600 even weu2019re not scheduling this session.
We already deactivate and delete the current setting. Then do the setting again for Daily Monitor Open Item (Vendor). But still the notification is still there.
Please advice on how to disable the unwanted email notification.

ICal Server Email Notifications to Users On Same Domain

I am using iCal Server in an environment where a all of the iCal Server users are internal to the organization with emails that end with the same internal domain name. Is it possible for iCal to send email notifications to those people invited internally whenever an event is scheduled? Not all of the users are using iCal as their calDAV client so it would be perfect if an email notification went out to the invitees when someone schedules an event. Email notification works just fine if I invite someone to an event with an external email address.

iCal Server sends invitations to internal users too if you remove the email addresses of your internal users under "Info" in Workgroup Manager.
So the Open Directory does not have an entry for the users with your internal domain, which makes iCal Server see the user as an external one.

I have a filesystemwatcher app running to process files to a sql and ms access database. It works fairly well. However sometimes it goes down for really no particular reason that i can tell. So im trying to do two things if at
all possible.
1. send an email notification to our help desk if it breaks
2. restart the register event on a random timer
Any thoughts on this one ? Been googling all morning and nothing thus far.

Why not just fix your code. Why would the event stop. Events don't just stop happening unless you are doing something wrong in code. I saw some of your original code. You are not a programmer or a scripter and tend to make bad assumptions
and write code that is faulty.
It is not possible to know what is happening if you do not post the code. YOU are asking for a patch to an unknown situation. Try just asking for help fixing the broken script.
If you are trying to run a permanent monitor of files that never stops you will do better to use a WMI event because it is run by the system and does not require a user account or a process. That is why they exist. FSW is designed to do temporary
high efficiency monitoring. It I generally run by a UI applications to detect when a user does something although it can be used for other things.
I have successfully run FSW for months with no issues. We used this to load files received on a high speed FTP channel at the rate of about 6000 per hour.
Other things that you may have done to cause this failure is to just try to add this code to another very large script. This is not a good way to deploy the FSW. Decoupling event response from results can best be done via a WMI permanent event
subscription.
Right tool - good solution.

Hi Phil,
indeed, I should have mentioned in my initial post that I was able to get the RSS working.
However, I need to get several people notified when a new post is created as we would like to use the forum section as an interim process for "ticket creation" with our customer. I feel the RSS feed does not cover that need as it is still a Pull vs a Push. (i.e. if I go check a RSS feed, I can also directly go check the forum itself)
