Is it possible to disable VP8 error concealment for WebRTC?

Chrome appears to disable VP8 error concealment when rtcp-fb nack is negotiated when setting up a connection (SIP / SDP). I have not been able to get Firefox to disable error concealment. I am also unable get Firefox to enable rtcp-fb nack though I am not certain this will disable VP8 error concealment as on Chrome.

Is it possible to disable the screen saver just while a certain application is running?
The app seems to crash when the screen saver comes on.
Just so you know, application I'm using is Hogwasher; a newsgroup reader.

Not really. Just disable it manually when you run that application. Then, send off a bug report to the app's developer and tell him to update it for the latest Tiger. Alternatively, use another newsgroup reader.

Is it possible to disable New Message sound for SPAM messages?

I inherited a role email account which receives an incredible amount of spam. Mail's SPAM filters do a good job or routing these messages to the SPAM box and keeping them out of my inbox, but I still receive a "New Message" sound notification every time a new SPAM message arrives. Is it possible to disable the "New Message" sound alert for SPAM messages while still receiving the alert for new messages that arrive in my inbox?

Try this:
Go into Preferences -> General and uncheck the box that says "Play sounds for other mail actions".
I'm not sure if it will work since that's really still "new" mail, but it might be worth trying.

Is it possible to disable visited link color for entire site.

I have a 20 page site and am using text links in a sidebar for site navigation between pages. I desire to for a red hover color to appear when mouse cursor is over link. All works well the first time page is visited, cursor placed over Link1 changes color of Link1 text to red. Now if I click on Link1 and then return to the page on which Link1 was located, the cursor placed over Link1 does not show the hover color because the link now has the visited color. while I know I can edit the CSS file for each page (there are 20 or so) CSS to remove the "a:visited....." code to disable the visited color from overriding the hover color, doing so is rather inconvenient since the site is in very active development.
Question: is there any way to globally disable the visited color or disable the visited color in iWeb?

I want to permanently stop msnbc.com from reloading. I've searched thoroughly with many keywords, and though I've found many extensions that will reload pages or set auto-reload intervals, I can't find anything that *stops* auto-reload. Not sure if I completely understand your dilema. I don't know of any way to pause a FMR, however, I may be able to help with plan B. I have a widget called Repo Playbar that allows you to reposition the playbar AND show/hide any playbar buttons, including the play/pause button. Have a look here.

You can't disable a trigger for just one session, no.
I'm not sure why you'd want to. Depending on the problem you're trying to solve, you could create a context, modify the trigger to check the values set in the context as a first step and just return if a particular value is set, and then set the context with this magic value in your session. No idea if that would solve whatever problem you're really trying to solve, though.

Jabber for Window, phone mode, how to disable "use my computer for calls"

We have a Citrix environment and only want to control the Cisco deskphone with Jabber for Windows in the phone mode.
We use CUCM 8.6.2 and I have installed Jabber for Windows 9.7.0 and all works fine, I can control my deskphone, make and receive calls, phonebook and Outlook integration works fine.
Is it possible to disable "use my computer for calls" as we do not want users to make calls via Citrix, but only use the deskphone for this.

Soft-phone mode cannot be disabled. Supported Features on Virtual Environment are the following.
Supported Features
    Instant messaging and presence with other Cisco Jabber clients
    Desk phone control
    Voicemail
    Presence integration with Microsoft Outlook 2007, 2010 and 2013
We have an existing defect which is in Terminated state because feature is not supported hence cannot be fixed.

However, I was wondering if it is possible to make an error checker for consecutive values of a particular variable.
That is, the first value and second value might be 100 and 100.5 respectively, but the third value might be 110, which is a wrong value. How do I discard the 110 point from being plotted?

Really difficult. How do you know the first two values aren't errors and
the third one is correct. If you're getting these sorts of values fromn
your A-D hardware, I'd suggest fixing the problem at the source.

the problem is if i include the setForwardURL my confirm messages dont work. if i dont include the setForward they work.
is there a way to do the setForwars so i can redirect the page and make the table inactive and also use the confimations. i can see its going past my system.prints. it just isnt popping up my confirmations as i believe its due to the IGNORE_MESSAGES.

SetForward*()...It lets the current page processing complete. Your following code will complete its processing, after that it will be forwarded to next page.
ForwardImmediately.... Forwards immediately without letting remaining code process.
However, a good thing is pageContext of the same page is forwarded. That means, if you did pageContext.putDialog(message), in current page, that will be forwarded in both the cases to next page. Hence, for your problem...
use putDialog method, as stated in previous post and
use forward url as CONFIRMATION, NOT AS ERROR OR IGNORE_MESSAGE.

I tend to roam between several wireless networks and hence have configured different smtp-servers in Mail. It often happens that I change the network and forget to change the server, which results in mail getting stuck to ourbox.
Is it possible to disable outbox? I would much rather see an error message and change to know that I need to change the server.

You could set policies which when a malware detected an action perform automatically without user interaction but there is no GPO which stop the notification, one reason could be that when notification keep appearing, then user will know something is wrong

Received this error (The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information.) recently on a workflow that was
working fine and no changes were made to the workflow.
I have tried a few suggestions, i.e. adding a pause before any ‘Update’ action (which didn’t help because the workflow past this action without incident); checked the data type being written
to the fields (the correct data types are being written); and we even checked the list schema to ensure the list names and the internal names are aligned (they
are), but we still cannot figure out why the workflow is still throwing this error.
We located the area within the workflow step where it is failing and we inserted a logging action to determine if the workflow would execute the logging action but it did not, but wrote the same error message.
The workflow is a Reusable Approval workflow designed in SharePoint Designer 2010 and attached to a content type.
The form associated with the list was modified in InfoPath 2010.
Approvers would provide their approval in the InfoPath form which is then read by the workflow.
Side note - items created after the workflow throws this Unknown Error some seem to be working fine.
We have deleted the item in question and re-added it with no effect.
Based on what we were able to determine there don’t seem to be any consistency with how this issue is behaving.
Any suggestions on how to further investigate this issue in order to find the root cause would be greatly appreciated?

I understand that the reusable workflow doesn’t work properly now. Have you tried to remove the Update list item action to see whether the workflow can run without issue?
If the workflow runs perfectly when the Update list item action is removed, then you need to check whether there are errors in the update action. Check whether the values have been changed.
