Is it possible to do massive Delete of Revisions with Repository Manager

Hi,
I use UCM 11g.
I am planing to delete all the revisions that have the ContentType "DataSheet". That is about 10.000 revisions. I did start the Repository Manager and filtered all the content for ContentType "DataSheet".
My problem is that I can delete only 200 items at a time, cause Repository Manager is showing me only the first 200 revisions. This is very time consuming.
Is there another way to do this?

Use Archiver...
Define your export query to cath all the 'Data Sheet' items
make sue that you choose the option for All Revisions
Then when you choose Export from the Actions menu tick the checkbox to delete items after export
This way they will all be deleted and you will still have a handy back up of them in Archive on the file system - so if you need to you can restore.

To maintain a Z table ZCITY (Master Data), I created custom SE16 t-code ZSE16CITY (using SE93 - Transaction with parameters).
Is it possible to validate the deletion of data from ZCITY Table in custom SE16.
If ZCODE exists in any of the transaction table then deletion of the record is not allowed and display the message for user.
Is this functionality is doable in custom SE16 or I have to create a maintenance program using Dialog screen (SE51).

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have to iPod play a sound via iCloud.

Massive Deleting of Users in BO 5.1 Sun

Hi everybody,
Is it possibile in my environment (Business Objects 5.1 on Sun Solaris) to massively delete a list of users?
I know that in Windows Environment it can be done from the Supervisor using the Import functionality (On the File menu, I click Import Users and Groups), I couldn't find a similiar feature for Sun.
Any help would be appreciated.

My prob is solved regarding deleted details.
Can we avoid , user can't delete the Outbound Delivery after creation of Proforma Invoice and Excise invoice. because OD is related to PRof and Excise inv.
Actually In case of Sale Order's OD user cant delete OD's. but in case of STO it possible.

CRM - Is it possible to forbid address deletion when assigned to a type?

Hello,
When I try to delete an address in CRM Tr BP that is assigned to an address type, a popup window display this message :
"Address still in use, but can be deleted. Do you want to delete?"
Then it's possible to choose between : delete / Case of use / cancel
Is it possible to get a blocking message instead to force users to cancel assignation first, by using customizing (SPRO)?

I dont think its is possible not to show that error.
Actually that error occurs only when an address is created and assigned to another address usage in BP. Its a system message tht is been raised programatically.
For your requierement like blocking users not to assign at beginning itself.
You can do :
implement a new badi for BADI BUPA_ADDR_CHECK and in CHECK method you can check if a new address is been assigned programatically.
And then u can raise an error message to be shown on BP blocking the user tht he shudnt assign it.

I wonder to know if it is possible to cancel a delete event of activity record when some conditions are satisfied.
What I want to do is :
if the field "sub Type of activity" = "RT", then when clicking on delete button, an error message is displayed : You are not allowed to delete this activity. Otherwise, it is possible de delete all my activities.

Hi,
This behavior is not available for delete trigger and object activity. What you can try is to override delete button with js but I don't think it is feasable because of the effort. If you try it be sure you do it for all pages where activities are used and deleteable via button or link.

Under Object List of Request of the change request, there are so many entries that we find we can only delete one by one manually, is there massive deletion of all the object in the list?

Talk to ur security person , he can add that .
Apart from that 3 options before the cancel relocation transport u will have unlock objects option.
Try this thing I am not sure it will work but
goto se01 > there is the Tools button in the second line under the menu bar > click on that .
It will also take u to the same screen but sometimes it may bypass the security and take u to the original se03 screen
Try this and lemme know
and talk to security person to add that option to ur role

Cannot delete users from the Central Management Console

I cannot delete users from the Central Management Console. I'm logged in to Enterprise as administrator but still get the following error:
There was an error while writing data back to the server: Sorry, you do not have the right to 'Delete objects' (id - 22) for 'koberg' (id - 725415). Please contact your system or permissions administrator if you require this right.

Oops, my mistake, sorry. Ok, so the Administrator cannot delete user koberg.
Check top level:
Logon to CMC, browse to Home > Settings and select the Rights tab. These are your top level settings. Factory default will show only Administrators and Everyone. Select the Net Access "Advanced" for the Administrators group. NB: Do not select these group names links - they will jump you out of the top level! On the Advanced rights page, ensure the right to "Delete objects" is explicitly granted.
Then set for the Users top level folder:
In the CMC, browse to Home, and select Users. Select the "Rights" button. Again - NB: Do not select these group names links - they will jump you out of the Users top level folder! Set the Administrators group to "Full Control". Save.
That should be all you need. However, there is a possibility the previous admin was busy setting security not only at the account level, but on groups so we need to verify the user:
In the CMC, browse to Home, and select Users. In the User list, select koberg. In the koberg account page, select the Rights tab. If the Administrators is not set to (Inherited Rights), make it so, and when you select the "Update" button, you should see the Net Access update to "Full Control". If this is the case, you should follow these steps on each account and accomplish this.
And if you still can't delete it, verify the groups:
In the CMC, browse to Home, and select Users. In the User list, select koberg. In the koberg account page, select the "Member of" tab. Note all groups koberg is a member of. Then in the CMC, browse to Home, and select Groups. Select the name hyperlink for the group(s) that koberg belongs to. On the group page, select the Rights tab, and ensure the Administrators have (Inherited Rights) - Full Control on all of these, also. If not, set it.
Finally, I know you inherited this, but let's overview some basics of simplifying your deployment administration. Follow these guidelines, and your administration life will be so much easier.
1. The Everyone group should never have any subgroups. Ever. All accounts on the system are a member of the Everyone group. Adding subgroups to the Everyone group is redundant.
2. For simplicity's sake, Application level access should be set on the Adminstrators Group, and the Everyone group. I know there are customers who add groups to application rights. I don't understand why users would have an account on the system if they are not allowed access to InfoView, but it's your system.
3. From a report object perspective, the Everyone group should be set at the top level to "No Access". This will result in them having no rights on anything at all. You break this inheritance at the application level to give them access to InfoView and other apps. On folders and objects, you ADD groups, then assign (ADD) rights as desired.
4. If you can help it, never explicitly deny a right to any user or group for any object or application. Explicitly deny overrides any other setting. If a user belongs to group A and group B, and group A is explicitly denied a right, you can explicitly grant it for group B or the user all day long, and it will still be denied. Always try to put yourself in the position of adding groups/users, and adding rights, then inheriting as far down the folder tree as you can.

How to delete the tracks with exclamation marks?

I have just moved about 10 gigabytes of music I don't listen to off my hard disk to an external hard drive. This was to declutter my hard drive and get me down to about 50% free. Itunes now has all the moved tracks still listed with exclamation marks next to them all now. I want rid of these songs from my Itunes view. How can I get rid of these moved tracks now without manually deleting the batches. Annoying that exclamation mark field is not sortable or would be easy to mass delete.
Anyone got a neat solution out there?

Yes, but now you have lost all your regular playlists, ratings, play counts, last played dates, non-embedded artwork etc.
Hope you don't miss them. If you do it might be possible to restore an earlier version of your library file and then bring it up-to-date with the free scripts at Doug's site.
An all iTunes, no loss of data approach would have been as follows:
Create a playlist called Found, select everything in Music and drag it into the Found playlist. Create a smart playlist called Lost matching All the rules Playlist is Music and Playlist is not Found. Your lost tracks will be in this playlist. You can delete them all with a Command-A to select them and Option-Delete to remove them. You can then delete the Lost & Found playlists.
I normally recommend the scripts as being an easier way to do things that you may want to do again.

How to delete an asset with a capitalization date inefaceable and no value?

Hi all,
An asset was created on the wrong asset class. I would like to erase it but this is impossible because of the capitalization date.
Indeed, I cannot change the fields status variant of the capitalization date, it is compulsory.
Furthermore, as this asset was an error, there are no values on it.
I tried to enter a deactivation date, but this is not possible because of no acquisition performed.
Therefore, I would like to know if it is possible to erase an asset even if a capitalization date has been entered in the master data?
If it is possible, how can I do?

Hi,
This is the drawback in asset master, when you make cap date as mandatory for AS01 transaction.
As a standard practice, cap date gets updated automatically when posting MIGO / F-90 only along with the qty.
In your case, first ask your ABAP member to delete the values from cap date field from table ANLA. (Field Name: AKTIV) for your questioned asset.
Then you can delete that asset with AS06 by choosing Physically delete the asset.
This will resolve your issue.
But if you make your field status as optional to cap date, then you must not got these kind of issues in the future.

WF10 with STO deleted form FRET with WF40

Hi gurus,
We have a requirement about Merchandise Distribution with flow-through.
We have created a collective PO with transaction WF10 related to several stock transport orders. But, because some items of one STO are wrong, we decided to delete the distribution with transaction WF40 (we know this transaction clean the FRET table). Then we modify the wrong items and save the STO.
If we run WF10 again, it doesn't consider the STO deleted before in WF40.
It is possible use the same STOs in WF10 again?, so we could a new colective PO.
If this is not possible and we don't have to use the transaction WF40, how could be solved this situation?, considering the client doesn't want to create all the STOs again just because one of the Stores created a wrong STO.

Hi,
Use WF30 to unblock the STO 's from PO.
Go to Wf30 . Enter the PO number. Exceute. Go to Edit u2013 Issue documents u2013 unblock delivery due list .
After that again u can use the same STO to create a collective PO.

Delete & full upload with seletion using DTP

Hi,
We have a scenario where we have to upload data everyday to cube for current month( scheduled job) . And there should be provision to upload data for any month any time also. Whenever upload for any month is complete we have to delete overlapping requests (with same month as selection) from cube.
Infopackage takes data everyday to PSA and then DTP (scheduled with current month as selection) runs and uploads data to cube, then Delete Overlapping request process runs which deletes requests which has been uploaded earlier.
This works fine.
Problem comes when user wants to upload data for any previous period. User is not able to change filter criteria in DTP as it is possible in Infopackage. And if filter criteria is not used in DTP, delete overlapping request does not work properly.
I would appreciate if experts throw some light on this and guide me .

Hi,
You can change DTP filter in 'Change Mode' of DTP only. You can change that in Display mode.
I assume , you are using single DTP for current month and previous period load. whether you are trying to chagne the DTP filter manually?, if so it is possible only in Change mode.
