Is it possible to do weekly closes in New GL?

We are doing requirements for our SAP implementation and would like to know if it is possible to do weekly closes in New GL. If this is possible what is involved?

Hi,
In closing there are many things which are associated, first of all you have to maintained your Fiscal Year variants on weakly basis and number of your posting period should crossponds to the number of weeks in ur fiscal year. This will effect over all functionality of the your company code. So be careful to take any decision. But with extended of new GL functionality its possible to have posting periods on weekly basis. Then you can perform your closing activities on weekly basis.

boot your MacBook Pro into Recovery mode by holding down a Command key and the R key as it starts up. Once the Mac OS X Utilities menu appears, select Disk Utility. On the left-hand side of the Disk Utility window, select your internal disk’s boot partition (typically called “Macintosh HD”). On the right-hand side, press the Verify Disk button if it’s not greyed out; if it is greyed out, or if it reports that errors were found, press the Repair Disk button. Once the verification/repair is completed, exit Disk Utility and select Restart from the Apple menu to restart in normal mode. Is it still very slow?

PP 2014 8.1.0 When I "Save As" my project, quit and close, the new project freezes on launching

Blackmagic 4K media working in 4K sequences.
In my current project, I've been experiencing very strange crashes upon launching PP. Before ending my work for the day, I usually save my current project manually, and then do a "Save As" with tomorrow's date at the end, (projectname_2014-12-02) so I have a fresh copy to begin the next day and still have yesterday's as a backup. I then quit PP as normal. No issues. In other words, it closes just fine without any crashing or odd behavior.
In the last week, a rather annoying issue has presented itself. Once in a while, that new project that I created with Save As, will not open. I opens to the point when I can see my bins and my timeline, but as I would expect it to begin propagating the timeline with media, I get the spinning beach ball. I can wait for hours, and the project never loads. I can go back to yesterdays project and open it just fine, but any project saved with Save As, very often seems to be corrupted.
Except, that I can open it up fine on another machine. So it's not really corrupted. And it doesn't happen every time. Just most of the time in the last week or two.
I've done the following troubleshooting several times. Restarted the computer. Repair disk permissions. Launch PP with the option key to clear preferences. Cleaned the media database. Tried launching the project with all media offline. Uninstalled and reinstalled PP. Booted from USB OS install drive and repaired permissions, repaired HD, and even reinstalled the OS (not a clean install, just over the top of the previous one).
Once a Save As project won't open, it's done and I have to go back to yesterday's project.
Now here's where it gets really weird. If I create a new project, and import one of the "won't open" projects, not just a sequence, but the whole project, it's fine. Which of course isn't entirely surprising.
What *is* surprising is that after I save and close that new project with the old imported project in it, I can now go back and open all of the projects that would freeze on opening just minutes earlier.
Everything is right as rain again. I'm glad I have a work around, but it's a little unnerving and random, not to mention time lost troubleshooting this bizarre one.
Anyone else had any weird issues like this? Thanks for any thoughts.

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. I just did a google search on this issue. OMG, I got a ton of videos on this or similar issues. Each one says in some way to clear the cache, reset the data, etc. Why in the world would this continue to happen and they not do a fix that resloves this without having to lose or stop what your doing. This is a very long and constant issue it seems with Android phones as there must have been pages and pages of what I now call "Unfortunately" So I am going to pray that Verizon helps me out and gets me away from this issue and helps me go back to iPhone or try the Samsung.

the PDF referred to mainly explains how to configure commands (within layout sets etc), but as far as I understand your question, you want to develop your own screenflows / command. First, I definitely would disadvise a beginner in the EP/KM area to start with such a task...

For more steps, you could start decompiling a command class of a command which is more or less similar to your needs (and the underlying classes) to get further insight.
If you really should get that far and have implemented your own command, you just can switch the implementation class if you want to change the logic for an existing command under System Admin - System Config - KM - CM - UI - Commands - UI Commands - <command in question> Java Class setting.

There should definitely be no issue. You can register more than one Apple device with the same Apple ID and get the same apps on both devices without having to pay for the apps again.
Alternatively, if you want all your settings to say the same, do a backup of your old iPod Touch and then whe you receive the new iPod, restore the backup on it and it'll save you the trouble from having to redownload everything.

Why is iTunes always a week behind in new releases.
The past couple of weeks/months whenever I click on for the full list of new
releases on tuesday its a week behind .
Right now its showing march 27, 2007.
Tomorrow it probably will show april 3, 2007.

The iTunes Store isn't a week behind in new releases themselves, it's just a week (or more) behind in the music New to iTunes summary listing. I've been told by the Apple Store that it's a problem with the utility that automatically generates that list and that they're aware of it, but clearly it's not fixed yet.

Where are MY ALERTS and weekly lists of new releases

I regret downloading Itunes 9. I know how difficult it is to undo it. There are many things I don't like, but particularly I can't seem to access my alerts nor to be able to browse the weekly lists of new releases. Judging by all the complaints I hope Apple comes out with a new release SOON.

The weekly new releases list is back; click on the Music tab at the top of any iTunes Store page and then look under the Quick Links at the right of the page for the Just Added link.

A PPC G5 cannot run any version of OS X beyond Leopard 10.5.8.
You should be able to find a Leopard retail (black) install disk on eBay. A grey update disk is machine specific and won't work.
