Is it possible to downgrade from iOS 7.1.2 to iOS

i have an iPad 2 16 GB. Recently I updated as request of the system to iOS 7.1.2. I have sound problems in several apps with this update. Is it possible to go back and downgrade to the previous operating system?

No, downgrading the iOS version is not supported. You've checked to see if you have notifications muted :http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4085 ?

There has never been a legit way to downgrade.
It will always restore to the latest available software.

  • Can you downgrade from iOS 8.2 to 8.1.3?

Is it possible to downgrade from iOS 8.2 to 8.1.3 on iPhone 6? If so, how? After updating both my iPhone and iPad with iOS 8.2, I experienced several issues. The Bluetooth on my phobe is no longer workIng properly and will not sync with my car or any other Bluetooth device. The battery life for both devices has been reduced significantly. Also the update has caused glitches in several of my apps as welL. I don't plan on getting an Apple watch, so I don't need 8.2.

No, downgrading iOS levels is not supported.

  • How can you downgrade from ios 7.1.2 to 6.1.3

hello everyone can you please help me i need to downgrade from ios 7.1.2 to ios6.1.3 because my ipad dosent work realy well with it can you plese help me

Downgrading isn't possible. iTunes won't install iOS versions older than the latest compatible release, and if one's somehow installed anyway, Apple's servers won't activate the device afterwards.

  • Is it possible to downgrade my ios

ive been wondering if it was possible to downgrade my ios from 6.1.3 to an earlier ios

well we should be able to downgrade at least one step to trouble shoot when we think the ios is an issue, eg my ipad 2 wifi struggles to connect now, currently patiently waiting for a fix from apple, not doing all the BS reset router and stand on one leg with finger in ear currently floating round the net

i have one more doubt.I have a back up in I cloud When i was using my 7.1.2 version. Can i restore the Os from the ICloud.(8.1 to 7.1)
Not only will restoring the iCloud backup downgrade the iOS, here's something else.
Let's say that your only backup (iTunes or iCloud) was made will you were running iOS 8.1.2.  But you someone managed to downgrade the iOS anyways to iOS 7.1.2.  Then you would not be able to restore that data to your device.  And that is a far more catastrophic problem a short battery life problem.
Total data loss is worse than short battery life.

That is not possible. Apple does not support a downgrade path for iOS.

  • Make possibility to downgrade from iOS7 to iOS6!

Make possibility to downgrade from iOS7 to iOS6! Because iOS 7 is awful, have too much bugs and much more slowly!

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to Apple - If you want to leave feedback for them then you can do so via this page : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html
What bugs are you referring to ? If you have problems and the standard troubleshooting methods (closing apps via the multitasking bar, soft-reset, restore) haven't fixed them then if it's on third-party apps have you tried contacting the developers ?
In terms of things being slow, then if the above doesn't help, then have you tried adjusting your settings e.g. Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion 'on' ?

  • Downgrade from ios 5.1 to 5.0.1

How can I downgrade from iOS 5.1 to iOS 5.0.1?
    Thanks!

Yes, it is possible to do so but i cannot say bc of what NLeeTechGeek says is true. and why do you wanna downgrade? theyve fix the battery part in 5.1, in the IOS 5 and IOS 5.0.1 drains 30% power use over night meaning i didnt touch my ipod for more than 6-9hrs bc pple gotta sleep ya no and i lost 30% of my battery power not even being used at all and not even been Jailbroken. I used to have my ipod plugged in non stop till i downgraded my iPod back to 4.3.5 again till they had a better version out and i upgraded. So we ask why you wanna downgrade from this better version to 5.0.1

  • Is there a way to downgrade from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 4.1 without any unauthorised modifications (e.g. jailbreaking)?

I found this piece of information: http://osxdaily.com/2012/06/18/downgrade-ios-6-beta-to-ios-5/ Yes, it's about downgrading from iOS 6 beta, not iOS 6, but the way to downgrade to a previous version of iOS is basically the same.
I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1.1 and an iPod touch 4 running iOS 5.1.1 as well. None of them is 'jailbroken'. I upgraded my iPod touch to iOS 6 for exploring it a bit more and reverted back to iOS 5.1.1. How? I did it the way stated by the website I mentioned above: just by Option-Clicking the 'Restore' button on iTunes and select the iOS 5.1.1 software. No need to enter recovery mode or DFU mode whatsoever.
In fact, Apple doesn't allow users to downgrade to a previous version of iOS: 'Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported.' (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694) The reason why I could downgrade from iOS 6 to iOS 5.1.1 may be, as the above website said, 'Typically you can’t downgrade iOS versions so easily, but because Apple is still signing iOS 5.1.1 this allows downgrading to commence with minimal effort.'
I was wondering whether I could revert all the way from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 4.1 (the version that was shipped along with the launch of the iPod touch 4 in September 2010). (for experimental purposes)
I downloaded the iOS 4.1 (a list of iOS software: http://osxdaily.com/2010/10/30/download-ipod-touch-firmware-ipsw/) and tried Option-Clicking when restoring this iOS 4.1 — no luck. iTunes said 'This device is not eligible for the requested build'. And I did a bit of research and found that there are ways to downgrade from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 4.1, but it seems you have to jailbreak the device, which is complicated and I don't want to do.
So, is there a way to downgrade from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 4.1 without any unauthorised modifications (e.g. jailbreaking)? Thanks in advance.

No, downgrading from any version of iOS to an earlier version is not supported.

  • How to downgrade from ios 8.0.2

how come there is no way to downgrade from ios 8.0.2 to ios 7 !!! i don't think its legal from apple to close the way back
but let me ask may be there is something i don't know
is there any way back to ios 7.1.2 ????
    thanks
    kh

There is no way to downgrade. Apple probably doesn't allow it because then people would downgrade a lot. People rarely like the new update when they download it. Also, Apple doesn't support past iOS things…So if someone is on iOS 3, Apple wouldn't support fixing problems or whatever (if I remember right).
So, sadly there is no way to downgrade. Sorry!
