Is it possible to estimate how long battery will last in 5th Gen Nano based on playing time?

I just got a 5th gen ipod nano. It looks like it was never used. I tested the ipod as Apple suggests --It charges enough to play for 13 hours, not 24. Is it possible to estimate how long the battery will last from this point? Does the ability of the battery to take a charge fall off gradually, or is it a quick process? Thanks.

Let me first not say Ha ha but The fourth Gen photo people said the same thing about when the fifth gen came out and we all complained. Also now that gapless playback has come out we all complained. So all I have to say is that at least you got the quick letter thing when you scroll and the games as well as gapless where we got nothing. I have owned an Ipod since the first gen and let me say I am supprised that apple even gave you guys some update. For all of your complaining, get in line.

Not possible. You have to use a regular digital camera OR use an iPod Touch (4th gen or better) OR iPhone (3 or better)

The artwork turns black or the screen's backlight turns off? If the backlight turns off, simply disable the backlight timer, but keep in mind this will significantly reduce your iPod's playback time and battery life.

Since I have to get it fixed and I'm a college student and need my laptop asap, I just want to know how long it will take for my screen to get fixed so I can go back to doing my work.

No one here could possibly know... you'll have to take your machine to your local Apple Store or an AASP to even begin to get an idea as to how much time it could take to fix your machine.

The first back up to iCloud may take some considerable time. Just how long isn't really possible to say without knowing how much is in your back up and your connection speed.
What many people don't realise is that upload speeds are often significantly less than download speeds, so for example a user may have a download speed of 40 Mbps, but only 1 Mbps for uploading. As a rough guide it will take around 2 ¼ hours to upload 1 GB of data at 1 Mbps.

It should not take very long. Up to thirty seconds tops depending on your Wi-Fi network.
Try rebooting your Wi-Fi router. Turn off the router for 30 seconds then turn it back on. After the router completes its startup routine and indicates a good connection to the internet start you iPad again and see if it will connect.
If you still have problems you might try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network. Maybe one at your local coffee shop or library.

I was wondering how long photos will stay in shared photo streams. Do these fall under the same rules are regular photo streams or will they stay there until I delete them?

Warp Stabilising is a two part process.
Analysis and Stabilising.
Both have a banner across the Program Monitor during the process ( unless you have turned that off.
Analysis start automatically on forst application...but you can rock in there and start adjusting the parameters.
You may need to hit "Analyse" Button again.
You should see the number of frames and the estimated duration during this process.

FWIW, your profile shows that you are already on Lion - did you buy Mountain Lion?
If you purchase an OS from the Mac App Store, it will be listed under your Purchases and will be available to download again if you need it. Note: the license is only for you and is not transferable; if you sell your Mac, you must uninstall it and reinstall the original system.
If you did buy Lion - out of curiosity - since it is no longer showing in the app store, how did you buy it there? Or did you call Apple and they sent you a redemption code?
