Is it possible to exchange iPhone 5 for a different color once recieved?

I've given myself second thoughts, and concluded that the white iPhone 5 would be for me. When I called apple to ask for a change in color of the iPhone on the order, they said it couldn't be done unless I'd have canceled it. They suggested that I should go to Verizon when I receive my iPhone and ask if it would be possible to exchange my black iPhone for a white one. So, is it possible?

Doubtful. I personally think black looks much much better, but if you still want white I suppose you could sell it and buy a black one. Who knows, you might be able to exchange though, but I would be surprised.

  • Can I exchange the iPhone 5s for a different color?

My sister told me she bought me an iPhone 5s white/silver and verizon is having it shipped to me but the shipping info states it's the gold one. Is there a way to exchange/replace the phone for the silver/white colored one at no extra charge? It also already shipped around 2 hours ago.

If the phone you're getting isn't the phone that you want...and you want to try to avoid a restocking fee...just refuse the delivery.  Don't accept it and try to go the store to have it done...especially if VZW got it right and you're just wanting a different color out of preference.  Be advised that refusing the accept delivery of the phone will cause it to go back to VZW which you have to factor in time to ship it back, time for the warehouse to receive it, and time for it to be credited back to your sister.  All of this can be a long and tedious process.  Also be advised that if you do try this approach that calling, complaining, and ranting about the slow return process will not yield you any faster results.  No VZW rep online, in a store, on the phone, or via chat will be able to do anything to speed up the return process...it'll happen when it happens.  So...with that being said, is having a different color really worth it to you?  Armed with the knowledge you've gained here about the process, at least you can now make an informed decision.  Besides, most people cover the back of their device with some fancy or cute cover to protect their device so the back color is rarely seen.  Best of luck to you...

  • Could I exchange my iPod Touch 5g for a different color?

Hi! I have a Blue iPod Touch 5g there's engraving on it, I'm starting to dislike the color and I really want pink now, nothing is wrong with the iPod and everything works perfectly, I just really want a different color. Could I exchange it for a different color??

But the link does not list engraving as a reason for not getting a refund.
Apple can just place a new back on the iPod and sell it as a refurbished one. The say as if it was not engraved and opened and then returned.
    I would contact Apple.

  • Exchange iphone 4 for iphone 4S

can I return or exchange iphone 4 16 gb  bought at at&t store online for iphone 4s 16 gb at the apple store. But i m still in the contract. I still have a year left of my contract.

With a year left in your contract, that would imply that your phone is already a year old.  Within the first 30 days of purchase, you can reurn a phone under the "buyers remorse" clause, but after that, your best option is to try to sell your old phone to buy a new one.
With one year left on your contract, you would also not qualify for the "new discount" pricing, so you either pay the full price, or pay the "new discount" plus $250 and get a new 2 year contract.  This would mean that the 16GB iPhone 4S wouldn't cost you $199, but in fact $449 and you would have a new 2 year contract starting the day of your new purchase.

  • Can I Exchange My MW600 For A Different Colour?

Hi, I bought my MW600 less than 3 weeks ago in Singapore. At the point of sale, I asked the salesperson if a WHITE version is available, and he said that NO it is not. I then bought the Black version as I was eager to try out a Sony Ericsson Bluetooth headset as I read good reviews on forums and such. However, the very next day, I went back to request for an exchange because the device HANGED and could NOT be turned off. The salesperson  on duty then (a different person) told me that it is NOT possible and to go to Sony Ericsson Service Centre. What was an unpleasant surprise was, there were LOTS of white versions on display, and the sales guy told me that they "hid" them in the counter because it is very popular!
Due to the year end holidays, I have been unable to do so, and true to the experience of other owners, the headset could be restarted after draining out the battery. This lockup has occurred annoyingly THREE times since my fateful purchase that day.
My question is, can Sony Ericsson exchange my unit for me to the WHITE version, possibly with an upgraded firmware, on a goodwill basis? Thank you for reading.

You would need to speak with your local Sony Ericsson support team regarding this; however I have not heard of them swapping versions of a product before. The device can be looked at by a repair agent as it should carry the standard manufacturer’s warranty.

  • Can I exchange my Asus transformer pad for a different color?

I recently (less than a week ago) bought an ASUS transfomer pad, which I LOVE! But, I saw that they are made in three colors although only one was available when I bought mine. Is it possible for you to order me a different color and then I could just exchange the one I have now. It's not a huge deal, but it would be nice. Thanks in advance.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

If we sell it and have some available at our regional warehouse, we should be able to order it in to the store for you or to ship to your home. Check with a Blue Shirt at your local Best Buy to see where we might have one in the right color floating around.

I have an iphone 4s I bought on October 2013 , i want to exchanged for  an iphone 5  or 5 s , so,can apple receive my 4s for the value of the iphone 5 or iphone 5s ?

If the phone is less than a month old, see if you can simply return it for a refund, then buy the new one.

  • Is it possible to buy iPhone 6 for Verizon at full price from apple?

If possible to buy it from apple, then is it possible to use it on another carrier even before activating it on Verizon?

That I am not 100% positive on. If the phone is unlocked from the factory I don't see why it would need to be activated on Verizon first before using another carrier's SIM. I would think that you can just pop in a AT&T (for example) SIM from the beginning and do the initial iPhone setup using that.
I do believe Verizon itself won't sell you the phone at all unless you connect it on a service plan. Not sure if Apple forces you to do the same at its stores.
Verizon and AT&T actually use the same exact model number iPhone.

  • Possible to exchange iphone 5

I have purchased and opened my new ip5 but it's only 16GB and I can see myself using this up quite fast.
Would apple exchange this to a 32GB once they arrive in stock?

If you are within the exchange period and pay the difference they will.  There will likely be a restocking fee.

  • IPhone asks for a different email to restore backup

    Hi,
I am trying to restore a backup to my iPhone 5 after and reseted it. After I choose the backup, it prompts me to "Enter the Apple ID password for **********@hotmail.com to use for store purchases (including the App Store, iTunes Store, and iBooks Store)."
The problem is that I have never seen that email address. Anyone might know what is happening?
    <Email Edited by Host>

When restoring an iCloud backup, previously purchased apps and other media are redownloaded from the iTunes (App) store.  Prior to doing so, you are required to enter the password for all Apple IDs associated with purchased media that was on the device at the time of the backup.  It sounds like there must have been something purchased with this ID on the device that was backed up or it would not be prompting you for the password when trying to restore it.  If you are given the option you can skip this and the associated purchase(s) will not be restored.

  • I want to trade in my 5c for a different color or a 5s

i have a blue iPhone 5c and I don't like it, I wanted a green one but they didn't have any left so I'm stuck.... What can I do ? I really don't want this phone
is is it possible for me to exchange for a 5s or a green 5c and pay the difference ?

No. Unless you are within the 14 day return window, you will have to sell your iPhone and buy the one you want.

  • How can I correct for 2 different color temperatures in one image?

    Hi,
In indoor architectural photography one may encounter mixed color temperatures in one image. If one could use gels and lamps to replace incoming natural daylight and force a uniform color temperature (for instance tungsten) then the problem would go away. Yet, sometimes this is not possible or practical and I was exploring what could be accomplished within Photoshop. Here is my proposal ( or beginning of it):
    shoot RAW
generate 2 versions of the image, each corrected for one of the color temperatures present (say WB dropper in "should be neutral" area where daylight dominates and another WB dropper in "should be neutral" area where tungsten dominates)
open them in Photoshop and move one of them as a layer on top of the other version
Try to blend the two layers
in one example, I used Hue blending mode and the photo fixed itself!! However this is not generalizable to other images
I also tried BlendIf for harder images but with no success
I presume selection is then a must which brings up the question:HOW CAN I SELECT DEPENDING ON COLOR TEMPERATURE? I mean, the layer where WB = daylight looks orange-casted in the areas where the main light source is tungsten, while the layer where WB = tungsten looks blue-casted in the areas lit mainly by sunlight. I must believe there should exist a best approach to select say the blue-casted areas or the orange-casted areas, and that approach should be simple if it somehow takes into consideration the predominant cast. I have tried Select Color Range but not very successfully. I just feel there must be a simpler way, taking advantage of the present casts.
    Masks seem also useful
All feedback will be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Juan

If you want to use multiple keepalives for a service, you must use a script. The alternative would be to create 2 content rules, and 2 sets of services, one for port 80 (or whatever) and one for port 443 (or whatever), and use http for one and ssl for the other.
