Is it possible to export an HDMI image size?

Enter the required dimension in; Inspector >  document slide size.
1024 x 768 is HD-TV pixel dimension, but there are other graphics sizes you can set for higher resolution.
Note that you need to set up the slide size first before you add objects on the slide, otherwise they will be distorted when the size is changed.

  • Possible to export keywords for images in a catalog?

I have a fairly large catalog with scanned images (several thousands of images). The images have a number of keywords each and many have descriptions and titles. From this, I would like to create some sort of web site where this information is preserved. The web that I'm envisioning should list all the keywords that occurs in the catalog, and if you click on a keyword it should show all images tagged with the keyword.
However, with Lightroom 1.2 it doesn't seem to be possible to have the keywords included in the web gallery. Or am I wrong? Is it possible somehow?
My next way of attacking this problem was to use the xmp sidecar files. Since the keywords are stored in the sidecar xmp file, I thought that I would be able to retrieve the keywords from the xmp-file with the help of some scripts and XSLT. Yes, a little extra work involved of course, but still doable. Unfortunately, since I've got TIFF files and not RAW files, the xmp data is embedded in the TIFF file and not written in the sidecar xmp file. Is it possible to have the xmp data written to the sidecar file also for TIFF images?
Yes, it should be possible to extract the xmp data from the TIFF files, merge all this data into a big xml file and then process that with an XSLT script, but I would rather avoid poking inside the TIFF file, if at all possible.
If I can just get some sort of mapping between all images and the keywords, preferably in an xml format (html or plain text would also do) I should be able to build the web myself.
Any advice on how I can achieve this?

yes it is possible to do this, but it is a bit complicated. Under the share menu choose export media. In the dialog that appears you can choose audio only. There are options for AAC, AIFF etc. The problem is that it will export all of the audio from your project so if you want only audio from a particular clip to be exported you need to create a new project and then copy/paste the clip into the new project. You can then export that audio as described above. An alternative is to create a new empty compound clip in the browser and open it in a timeline and copy/paste your clip into it. You can then export audio only as above. Once you have edited the audio, import it into FCPX and add as attached clip to the original clip. You can either drag the volume of the original audio down so it is not audible or detach the original audio and delete it. Not as simple as in previous versions of FCP but do-able.

  • Adobe Bridge - Export - Manual Scale - Image Size Option

I would like to use Adobe Bridge to export a batch of images to a fixed height (e.g. 400px) where the width is dynamic. There are other software programs that would give me this option, but It would be wonderful if this "small feature" could somehow be added to adobe photoshop.
    Thank you,
    jjchinquist

Hello 1.csuebele, thanks for the comment.
I was surprised that this was in Photoshop and not in the Bridge, but that is ok.
I was not allowed to leave the width blank, nor enter -1 or 0 for variable. I worked around it by using a width that was so large, it would never be used because the maximum height would be used. For example width: 9000, height: 400.
Unfortunately in Photoshop scripts, there seem to be no method to override the image proportion so that I could force a thumbnail of 400 wide and 300 high.
After all that though, here is the result, thank you. http://www.ots.at/jahresrueckblick/2013/

  • Is it possible to reset the default image size for VIEW in photoshop elements EDIT menu?

When I go into the Edit menu, I have to click on "Fit on Screen" to enlarge the view.  Is there a way to change the default size of the  Edit image so that the larger size I get with "Fit on Screen" is the new default?"

Not as far as I know.  PSE opens a new image in the editing window according to its own internal formula for size.

    Hello
We have a very large report (100 pages long) and have a series of background images set on the report. When viewing through BO XI R2 DeskI you can see the images, you can print the report. However when saving the report to PDF format the background image is not included on the export.
Can you advise if it is possible to export the background image out to PDF through DeskI and / or Webi and if so how.
    Cheers

  • Is it possible to export a file from Organizer with the list of all the images in an album?

Is it possible to export a file from Organizer with a list of all the images in a certain album? In filling one of my albums I did not save my edited images to the same file... they are spread out a bit.... Now I want them to make a book with them (outside of Elements).

As far as I know, Elements does not have the ability to create lists.
The solution to your problem of making a book outside of Elements is to place all the desired photos in an Album and then select File->Export->As New Files which gives you the ability to make a copy of every photo in the album in a new folder, from which you would create your photobook.

  • Is it possible to export a Muse project as HTML to use locally inside a browser?

I am trrying to see if it possible to export a Muse project in the same way, for example, it is possible with Fireworks to export a PNG file with hotspots as HTML and Images.
I want to be able to look at the project hosted locally and still click on sections of the site, click on links within the site making it appear like a live web site, but locally in my machine.
    Thank you!

    Hello,
You can use File>Export as HTML option and  it will export your website to a local folder.
Then you can open the index.html page in a web browser and it will give you experience of your site with all active links.
    Hope this helps.

  • Is it possible to export multiple sections of the art board as individual PNG's?

I have an art board full of GUI buttons and each button consists of an icon and a background sitting beneath it. the back ground is just a rectangle with some shading and made into a symbol repeated over and over again incase someone wants to change the color palette of the buttons in 1 go.
Is it possible to export every button (icon and background) as its own individual png? and have each png the size of the icon rather than the art board?
The equivalent of Photoshop's Generate>Image Asset.
***one key component i really need to know is if i can also have illustrator automatically create folders for these files to be exported or generated into***
in the same way that in Photoshop, if you name a layer "Folder1/Image1.png"  it will export that layer automatically as a png name Image1 inside a folder name Folder1.
    Thanks!

Try export to css. I believe that is the equivalent. It will create individual png files.

  • Exported Raw Conversion Image Resolution and Assigning a Color Profile, etc

In Aperture 1.1, although I set the exported Raw conversion image resolution to 300 dpi in the preferences, it continues to come out at 72 dpi which is something of an inconvenience. Also, is it possible to assign a color profile to the "exported version" so that it is congruent to my PS CS2 color workspace (if that is what its called). Is this program capable of carrying out a conversion as a background operation? Finally, can the layout windows be configured so that they remember how they have been used in the past? Thanks.

    Iatrogenic huh! Cool!
Anyway, I'm not real clear on what it is you are trying to accomplish. Despite your obvious vocabulary skills, there seems to be some disconnect relative to what you are trying to accomplish. You are right that "exporting a version" in Aperture is roughly equivalent to what happens in ACR when you "Open" a RAW image into Photoshop. In both cases you have, hopefully, already done the adjusting of parameters you want prior to "exporting", or "opening". When you "open" or "export" you wind up with an "image" composed of pixels, whereas in the RAW adjustment phase you are just working with a temporary thumbnail and a set of mathematical instructions. Big difference, I suppose is that when you "open" and image from ACR into CS2, the resulting image is truly just pixels and has not had a "file type" applied to the file yet, until you "save" it, while in Aperture, if you "export" a file to CS2, or to the desktop, you end up with the file type already applied. Presuming you "export" a 16 bit TIFF or PSD, there is no operational difference.
I could be wrong, but with the new Bayer Demosaicing algorithms in Aperture 1.1, and the Camera RAW adjustments, you should be able to come up with an adjusted image that is VERY close if not identical to one done in ACR, with the possible exception of lens abberation adjustment. I was very critical of the RAW adjustments in 1.0.1, but I am very happy with the capabilites in 1.1. That said, I think there is still some room for improvement in user friendliness of some of the adjustments such as Levels.

Is it possible to export Azure VM(to local disk) and import that VM to another Azure subscription and use that successfully ?
    2
Is it possible to move VM from one subscription to another subscription directly ?

I think Yes. If you have the copy of OS (image) and data disk VHDs then you can copy that in your new subscription. And then create VM using that image. It has nothing to do with subscription.

  • Possible to export photos from Adobe Bridge directly to Lightroom?

I have thousands of images previously imported and processed in Adobe Bridge. I would like to open my original folders in Bridge, review the images and export only selected images directly to Lightroom. Is it possible to do this or must I import the original folder directly into Lightroom and make my selections by unchecking boxes?
I would also like to import my keywords list from Bridge into Lightroom and apparently that can be done under the Metadata tab in Lightroom, but how do I navigate to the keyword list in Bridge,? Where is it located? Thanks. Bernie M

    Judith:
Bridge does have a keyword hierarchy (Keyword sets). I'm not sure if it is brought in to LR as such, but the keywords do come into LR adequately for my purposes. Also, please remember that I am now only using Bridge for older archived folders that were originally processed in Bridge and all new photos are imported directly to Lightroom.
When I select images in Bridge and drag them into Lightroom, all unselected images remain in their original folders, as do the selected images. The selected images are just for my Lightroom Library -- for my normal working practice. If I understand LR, the images brought into LR are not new copies, they are in a sense "aliases" for working purposes and the originals reside in their original folders. In fact if you have the original folders on an external harddrive that is not connected, you cannot modify the images in LR until you reconnect the external drive. So, when you say you load everything into LR you should be aware that the original images are NOT in LR but remain in their original folder, wherever that resides.

  • Aperture - Export the edited images with changes

    Hello
I recently purchased Aperture and have a SLR camera (Pentax K-X) and a GPS logger (Holux M-241). I record my images in DNG format (Adobe RAW format).
I've tried to import my images into Aperture, where I've added commentary and edited my pictures. Now I would like to export my photos (originals), where I can either save images as "Include IPTC" or "Create IPTC4XMP sidecar file". I might have saved my comments, but the changes I've made the pictures are not appearing when I imported the images again from the folder where I have exported my edited images (related to exports, I have chosen "Create IPTC4XMP sidecar file "). Why can not I see my edited photos?
Is it not possible to save the XMP sidecar file as embedded in your DNG files, which I know you can do with Adobe Photoshop?

What you want to do is a contradiction in itself - in Aperture you either export the originals or the versions. The originals will give you exactly the original images that you imported, optionally with IPTC added annotions, but without edits.
If you want to export the edited image, you will have to render the edited version and to export a version, not an original. You have many presets for the format of the edited version to choose from, but not a raw format. The closest you can get will be exporting as tiff or psd original size.

  • Does Export Version reduces image quality?

    Hi,
I got smaller file size when I "export version" at "original size". My master was jpeg of 5.1MB and I exported in jpeg format, I got 3.6MB. If I "export master", I do get 5.1MB. What does Aperture do to the jpeg image that reduces the file size?
Then I played around with "image quality", which is 10 by default. If I set it to 11, I got a file of 4.1 MB, still smaller than the original 5.1MB. Set it to 12 I got a file of 10.4MB. I am kind of confused. I guess the "image quality" relates to degree of jpeg compression, and a 12 setting means that Aperture compresses the jpeg image at a lower compression ratio than my camera? Does Aperture uncompress jpeg image and re-compress it when "export version"?
The bottom line is, how do I preserve image quality after adjustments? In other words, I would like to export at the same image quality as my original photo, or as close as possible (I assume Aperture reduces jpeg image quality a bit every time I apply adjustments to the image via export). Thanks much for your time.

    2) When I make adjustments in Aperture I actually work on the image Aperture produces out of the master file - which should be about 73MB in my computer memory as the size of the image is 2848 x 4272 and Aperture works in 16 bit.
Internally, Core Image (which Aperture uses) actually works in 32-bit, but your basic idea is right.
    3) When I export, Apertures compresses this 73MB image (assume adjustments don't make much difference to the image size) to a jpeg file.
First the image will be reduced to the bit depth of your export preset. Image adjustments will make quite a difference to the final file size because areas of high definition detail and a large tonal range will both increase the file size for a given compression setting. So any sharpening, for example, will increase the file size.
As a test, export an image with no sharpening applied, then add some edge sharpening and export it again. You should see a noticeable difference in file sizes.
    Correct?
    Pretty much.

  • WEB module export image size

    Team, I am
exporting just two images from the Web Mo
    dule...using the basis HTML
    gallery template.
The original image size is 4972K (4.9Mb)
After I select export in the web module, the resulting image is around
    200K in the content\images\large directory.
I have the "Large Images" Quality slider at 100
Is is the case...that no matter what...the image will be manipulated or reduced in size by the web module engine?
I would like the original image to be exported out to the content\images\large directory.
    Is this possible?
I was just on phone with support...close to two hours...disconnected twice...but the phone support folks were not aware of what I am doing.
I am using LR 3.3 in Windows...if that matters.

Beat, I have not made any adjustments.  Not sure where "Image Pages" are.  But, under the Web module, I have tried several "Large Images" quality settings under the "Output Settings"
You find this setting under the Appearance section:
I am getting the sense that no matter what...the LR Webgallery engine wants to "optimize" the images for web output.
I just want the people that visit the site, the ability to download the original image...unaltered.
I have not found a way to go beyond 2071 pixels for image width in Web Gallery.
From what i am reading so far, I think I should just let the galley engine do its work. Then come back and upload the original images under the content\images\large (or whatever the output destination might be).
That might be a way to achieve what you want. There might be side-effects regarding borders, watermarks etc.

  • Exporting keywords with image files

Using LR1.2 under Windows XP I now do most of my initial processing of scans and digital imports in LR before exporting the selected images for final batch processing and refined tuning in PS CS2. However, having completed copious key wording in LR, my exported files when viewed in Bridge do not contain my keywords. I have searched and found that it is possible to export metadata but that does not naturally link them with the appropriate pictures. Short of cutting and pasting chunks of keywords from LR, how can I arrange Bridge to incorporate keywords which were integral with the images exported from LR?
Thanks in advance to wiser heads than mine.
    DA

    >I do not have a 'cache' purge' option
I was talking about Bridge. Bridge's cache might be bad. The save metadata part in LR 1.3 is in the exact same location as in 1.2. I have never seen keywords not get written starting from LR 1.0. I know because I put lots of my images in online galleries and they always pick up my keywords.
    >As I suffered catalogue problems with my last LR upgrade
Perhaps this is the problem. You should try with a new fresh catalog, import a few images, tag em and export them and see if you get metadata written that way. Perhaps your main catalog is still corrupt.
