Is it possible to export multiple sequences as one FLV?

My Premiere Pro project contains multiple sequences that I'd like to export to one FLV file. But the Adobe Media Encoder export settings for "range" only has the options of exporting entire sequence (the current sequence I'm working on) or exporting the work area. So I'm having to export each sequence to its own separate FLV file.
Is there any way to export all of the sequences together to get one FLV file? If there isn't a way to do this, is it possible to somehow join my sequences?

Sequences puzzled me for a while. Just create a new sequence and then drag the sequences you already have directly from the project window (the icons look like a couple of timelines) onto your new sequence timeline - they then show there as a single video and audio tracks butted together

  • Exporting multiple sequences from Premiere with Match Sequence Settings...

If I individually select a sequence in Premiere and Export Media I have the option of checking Match Sequence Settings but with multiple sequences selected the option goes away. So I have to individually select the sequence, check the Match Sequence Settings box and add to the queue for every. darn. sequence. All I want is to export multiple sequences to Media Encoder with Match Sequence Settings (or add multiple sequences to the Media Encoder queue, same thing). Am I missing something? This seems like it would be used a lot...

For PC users, of which I am one, the Preview Render codec in the Sequence is usually MPEG so best to avoid it. If you can actually use ProRes, then it's understandable that you'd want to "Match Sequence" if possible.

  • Using FCP server to batch export multiple sequences from a FCP file

Hi... I am researching to see if FCP Server will be useful for our work flow.
We are creating multiple sequences in one FCP project file, and I want to be able to drop that .fcp project file into a folder and have a "watch and respond" action on the folder that takes all the sequences in that project file and applies a compressor preset to each sequence inside the project file without me having to open the file and select all sequences and batch them through compressor manually.
If this is possible then FCPS is going to save us a lot of man hours... does anyone know from experience if this is possible? I know you can take a QT file and do this, but I am not sure if you can do this with a project file!
    Thank you
    Barry

We work with FCP projects that have 7 - 10 sequences. When the day is done we do a quick export current settings and drag them into the production that contains the fcp project. W also flag them "ready for review" and "send to the web app". Works great for me and costs about 2 minutes. Just about the time it takes to put on your coat and say goodbye to everybody in our little editshop.

  • Is it possible to export multiple sections of the art board as individual PNG's?

I have an art board full of GUI buttons and each button consists of an icon and a background sitting beneath it. the back ground is just a rectangle with some shading and made into a symbol repeated over and over again incase someone wants to change the color palette of the buttons in 1 go.
Is it possible to export every button (icon and background) as its own individual png? and have each png the size of the icon rather than the art board?
The equivalent of Photoshop's Generate>Image Asset.
***one key component i really need to know is if i can also have illustrator automatically create folders for these files to be exported or generated into***
in the same way that in Photoshop, if you name a layer "Folder1/Image1.png"  it will export that layer automatically as a png name Image1 inside a folder name Folder1.
    Thanks!

Try export to css. I believe that is the equivalent. It will create individual png files.

  • Export multiple tables into one flat file

I have data in multiple tables on a processing database that I need to move up to a production database. I want to export the data into a flat file, ftp it to the production server and have another job pick up the file and process it. I am looking for
design suggestions on how to get multiple tables into one flat file using SSIS?
    Thank You.

    Hey,
Without a bit more detail, as per Russels response, its difficult to give an exact recommendation.
Essentially, you would first add a data flow task to your control flow.  Create a source per table, then direct the output of each into an union all task.  The output from the union all task would then be directed to a flat file destination.
Within the union all task you can map the various input columns into the appropriate outputs.
If the sources are different, it would probably be easiest to add a derived column task in-between the source and the union all, adding columns as appropriate and setting a default value that can be easily identified later (again depending on your requirements).
    Hope that helps,
    Jamie

  • Multiple sequences on one table?

I have a simple table with 3 columns: ID, DML_ID and VALUE. The table was designed to be a metadata table with values for certain DML_IDs. The table has been maintained by IT. However, now the users wants to have control over some of the values. Let's call it User_Maintained values. IT does DML on this table and migrate the change to acceptance and production. At the same time users do DML in production. This causes ID conflict between dev, acc and prod.
My solution is to use 2 sequences, one for IT_maintained IDs the other for User_maintained IDs. One of the sequences starts with a much bigger number like 1000000 to avoid the conflict. Create a before insert trigger on the table to pick the right sequence number depends on if the DML is IT or user maintained.
My question here is, is it ok to use 2 sequences on one table? Is it against best practice of Oracle?
Another idea from my co-worker is, use single sequence instead of 2. The sequence will reside in production database and all the 3 databases (dev, acc and prod) will get ID from the same sequence through dblink. Personally I don't like the idea because I don't think getting sequence from production to be used in development is the "best pratice" of Oracle. Although I don't know where I can find the document to support my opinion.
    Any idea is appreciated!!
    Sharon

I've discussed with the DBAs and some developers, we all have concern about the idea of one sequence on production being used by all 3 databases (dev, acc and prod). Database clone is one issue. Also making one database (dev or acc) relies on another (production) is not a good approach. Each database should be as independent as possible - only create the linkage when it's necessary. In this case I don't think it's necessary.
I will go with one sequence for user maintained values (in prod), and a manual increase number (max(id) of IT maintained value plus 1) for IT list.
I do all these because the table was a bad design from the first begining so I can't really come up with a correct solution to work around this.
Thanks for everybody who gave input here. Very appreciated!

  • Export multiple clips from one timeline

    Hi,
Is there a way to export multiple clips into separate files from the timeline. So, basically i have a time line with many clips which i need to export to individual files, not one long video. In FCP 7 I would drag all these clips into a new folder and then batch export. But in FCPX?
    Thanks!

Of course i's  not "half baked". Just because it lacks a feature that you want doesn't make it so.
There isn't  as NLE out there that doesn't attract  complaints from some users about its functionality in some area or other.
Fortunately, the fully functional  trial version gives us a good chance to find out first-hand whether the design meets our requirements.

  • Possible to have multiple microfeeds on one page?

    Hello,
I've been searching on this for a while now but I haven't been able to find a documented answer.
Is it possible to present multiple microfeeds (site feeds) on a publishing page where I target each feed webpart with different audience?
Please correct me if I'm wrong:
As far as my tests go, I can only add one "Microfeed" list by activating the site feeds feature. However we have a request where we should show feeds based on each country so you only see the feed for your own country.
Whould that be possible? I've also tried to add a site feed on a subsite but I can't figure out how to roll that one up on the front page with the content search webpart or something similar.
    Thanks for your help

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply. yeah it seems that there is no way to avoid this.
We would like to use it on our intranet (based on publishing template). It could be nice to show a newsfeed/sitefeed for earch country based on audence. I guess the correct solution then would be to create a subsite for each country and then activate the
feature there and make the default homepage http://<intraneturl>/<country>  for each users?
Anyone having further suggestions? If I have http://<intraneturl> as my default homepage how would I automatically be able to redirect all users from a specific country to http://<intraneturl>/<country>?
    Thanks

Oracle Order Management provides one to one mapping between Order and (orig_sys_document_ref & Order source). You may need to go for custom solution to consolidate requisitions to create a single internal sales order.

  • Exporting multiple clips from one sequence as separate files.

    Hello fellow editors!
I have about 100+ video files that I want to cut into shorter clips, edit a bit and then export in a Final Cut friendly format (currently they are AVCHD mts files) to send it to my friend, who is putting the whole movie together.
I dont want to use Final Cut for this ( I cannot, I have a windows machine) and I was hoping to work with premier CC and media encoder CC.
There is a way of putting all clips in one sequence and then nesting each one, then you can send them to Encoder CC and it will render them as separate files - thats is just not very productive, nesting clips one by one and it takes forever for Encoder to import sequences.
I was wondering if there is a better workflow? I heard that Final Cut has shortcuts to do this very easily, you just click on all those clips in sequence and "batch export" them, which puts them in some place as separate, already cut files.?
Anything? I love premier, let my feelings be justified!)

    Kevin Monahan ...
Lucid George is right ... select one trimmed clip, File->Export->Media, you can choose whether in-out or entire clip.
Select MORE than one clip, you get a completely different export box ...
These two selections were "exported" from that bin created by dragging the trimmed clips from the timeline to a new bin ... I don't know what else one is supposed to do. You can't even select multiples clips and batch sub-clipping, which would at least cut the steps down.

  • Is It Possible To Reposition Multiple Sequence Markers?

I'm woking a project where I had to split a long sequence into two so that it would fit into a DVD. But there are dozens of sequence markers that need to be moved along with the ripple edited half of the sequence. Dynamically linked in Encore. I have read a post on this issue dating back to 2007.  Was hoping this feature was available in CS6
I just realized, however, that the linked Encore chapter markers do ripple edit. If you don't ripple delete the gap in Premiere left by splitting the long sequence, you can still trim the empty part of the Encore timeline and slide to the zero point and the chapter markers follow. So, the problem is partly solved, except chapter markers timecodes will not match the corresponding markers in Premiere.
I know that some people add Encore markers last after editing is completed. Still, I would like to be able to select multiple markers in Premiere or have them ripple as I make edits.

A lot of us would like Encore markers to be tied to the specific frame of video, move with that frame, delete with that frame, copy and nest with that frame, etc.
    Hasn't happened yet, though.

  • Exporting multiple sequences

I made a project consisting of 2 sequences. When I export using quicktime conversion, only one of the sequences show up in the exported .mov file. What shall I do to make both sequences export into one file?

Make a new sequence and put the other two sequences in it. Or copy and paste the contents of the second sequence onto the end of the first.

  • Exporting multiple clips at one time

Hi, My school has asked me to convert old videos onto DVD media for archiving and for distribution amongst all teachers in my department. Yes I am sure some will mention legal stuff here but the videos are no long made and what we have is being held together with cellophane tape or cracking laserdisc videos (remember those?).
So far I have been able to import all the videos into iMovie. Each clip is about 1 minute or less in duration. I am now exporting one clip at a time into the requested WMV format but I can only export 1 clip at a time and I have several hundred to to. Is there a way to select multiple clips and export them one at a time without me having to select and export on clip at a time?
thanks in advance now back to exporting....

Never mind I am doing it one clip at a time. The school seems really happy about this since these video discs are no longer available for repurchase. Thanks.

  • Is it possible to manage multiple investments from one bank in one g/l acct

    HI,
My client has multiple investments in different plans with the same bank.
    eg:
KOTAK LIQUID (INSTITUTIONS) - DAILY DIVIDEND
KOTAK FLOATER LONG TERM - DAILY DIVIDEND
Is it possible to manage both of these in one G/l account.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sailesh Sinha

    Hi,
Maintaining multiple GL accounts is good way because you would not know clear picture for each type of investments in same bank.
Whenever management is asking for details for different type of investments in same bank, then it will give us trouble. If it is not required you happily use single GL for multple investments.

  • Export all sequences into one quicktime?

    I'm sure it's something silly I'm overlooking...but I'll ask nonetheless.
I have 6 sequences, each of varying length. How do I "join" all the sequences for an export to a single movie file? Surely I can't be stuck exporting each in turn. Otherwise, how will I be able to create a quicktime rough for importing into Sound Track and subsequent scoring?

thanks so much, Tom - that did the trick after a bit of confusion over what can be dragged and dropped. I didn't realize I could drag and drop the individual sequences into the timeline of a new sequence. I was trying to drag the sequences into the icon for a new sequence in the browser.
Love your FCE book BTW - you must never get tired of hearing that!
