Is it possible to extract the text and images using PHP

Hi friends,
Is it possible to extract the text and images using PHP, in the same order as it is in the PDF?
Else is it possible extract the same as XML using PHP, or ASP
I googled it but its in vain, any help is appreciated.

I mean is it possible to parse the PDF line by line using the PHP.
I extracted the whole text but couldn't the images. Since the PDF's images are decoded using various methods like DCTDecode, JPXDecode, etc.
The text is decoded with FlateDecode, which i breaked using a function in PHP.

When I print a webpage from FF how can I make the text and images bigger?

I am trying to print an eticket for a flight. The text on the schedule comes out too small and the UPC symbol's black lines look ganged together. I know I can view it zoomed up, but how do I make the text and images stay zoomed so they will print out that way?

I upgraded but the problem remains. At least with Firefox I do have the option to print a selection even if it mangles the top and bottom lines. With Safari or Chrome I have no option to print a selection. At the moment the only way to get a complete copy of the selection is to copy to openoffice etc and print from there.

Drag and drop the text and image

Hi,
I need help in drag and drop text and image.
I am able to drag and drop the text and image in doc but i want to drag the text in text frame and image in image frame only.
For this how to get textframe id or is there any other way to do this. Pls help me if anyone know how to do this one.

To handle a drop in InDesign, you have to implement your own custom CDragDropTargetFlavorHelper. You can find a working example in SDK Sample. Take a look at BasicDragDrop.sdk project in the SDK.

In my project i have a image in that i have a
co-ordinate (x,y) I am still puzzled as to what you seek. It sounds to me like you have a point (x, y) represented by p. in java it's just p.getX() p.getY()

If I want out and took a picture of the US Declaration of Independence and then wanted the words on the parchement in the picture in text form, then I would run the picture through a software program and it would try to optically recognise what lettering and number were present in the picture. In the end, I would have a text of what is written on the US Declaration of Independence.

How to generate formated (defined position) text and image using pl/sql and

Hello,
I need to use pl/sql to create a dynamic html page (or image , if possible) with defined positions for text and bar code. It is necessary because the page will be printed and it should be able to be read by one other process , OCR, that needs to have all the data in defined positions.
Any suggestion are welcome.

I don't think it's that easy. Notice that if you put the insert into an actual pl/sql block, you don't get the correct column pointer anymore.

FF v. 4.0.1: Is it possible to change the text and background colours of the menubar please ?

The menubar (above the tabs) appears as dark grey text on a light grey background - it is very difficult to read !

You can revert to the Default theme.

The text and image are printing much smaller then what I selected.

I sized the canvas to 8.5 and 11. I layed the pic out and used 24pt type, but when I printed it, it came out tiny and looked like 1pt type.
What did I do wrong?

On the screen it might be that when using text the image is not zoomed to 100% and hence your text might look like big on screen but small when viewed at 100% of the image. Try viewing your image once at 100% and check if your font size is apporpriate. Else increase the font size and save and view in Photo Viewer or at 100% zoom in Editor and make sure it looks fine.
Also try to print on Adobe PDF prior to actual print out to make sure it works fine.

Have downloaded the newest Firefox problem is when I right click to open a new link in new tab the text and images always get larger in each time I open new link to get right size I must must constantly press " ctrl + 0 "

Starting Firefox in Safe Mode does indeed get rid of the behavior I find undesirable. Thank you.
However, I still wonder why one should have to go through the extra step (starting in Safe Mode) to avoid the second tab in the newly opened window.
I have not added any add-ons to Firefox on my PC.
The problem suddenly started occurring a while back, after an automatic update of Firefox to the latest version.
Any thoughts on WHY this is happening?

Disappearing text and image

I created letterhead in Pages for my lil brothers film production company. Saved. Exported the document to Word. Sent it to him. So far so good. Looks great. Each time he opens the document in WORD and trie to alter the text by selecting and typing over it both the text and the graphics disappear.
Is there any way to correct this? I really love the letterhead and have been having problems recreating it in other software.

Thanks for a quick response. I see yr point. The thing is I am setting up a table cell editor and a renderer. It is easy to set up the editor with a combo box. For the renderer, I am using a default cell renderer and I want to make it look like a combo box as well. Since the default cell renderer extends JLabel, I do something like

comboBoxRenderer.setIcon(image);
comboBoxRenderer.setHorizontalTextPosition(JLabel.LEADING);
which does not get me the effect I want. I can put more pixels between the text and image using setIconTextGap. But it is not fool proof. I think I will try yr approach, but then it gets a little complicated. Would have been good if there is simpler way. I will appreciate yr thoughts

I have hit on this setting through trial and error; larger and icons like the cursor get big and fuzzy. Smaller than 155% and text and images are tiny on the 32" wide screen. This time that procedure doesn't seem to work. The text and images remain too small regardless of setting, although the cursor icon gets big. I can manually zoom the pages, but that is clumsy and has to be redone. Does anyone know of an easy setting fix? I am not too smart about this stuff--mostly trial and error, but I do want to be able to enjoy my wide screen. Thanks!

Use the color fill option - select the inserted .pdf and assign a fill color of white to it using the Color Fill Menu on the Toolbar or the Color Picker Palette.

Can only see text and image outlines

I am new and got stuck!
When I run the fla, it runs fine. However I have hit some setting and all I can see is the texts and image outlines...

Your timeline is set to outline view. At the top of the timeline, in the section where the names of each layer are shown, there are three icons: an eye, a lock and a box. Click on the box icon to switch between outline and normal view.

Aligning text and images in a StyledDocument like 'middle' on img in HTML

I have a StyledDocument which is a document source for a JTextArea, into which I am inserting combinations of 22x22 images and text strings. This is just a nitpick, and I am hoping someone could assist.
What I would like to do is middle-align the text and images, so that the strings are vertically centered with the images.
You can reproduce this as such:

When I click "edit" to manage content on a web page, I see code instead of text and images. How can I fix this?

I edit content on www.fomh.org. Until recently, I could sign in as administrator, click "edit" in the editable area of a web page, and proceed to update text and images. I have been using Firefox to do this for several years. Now when I attempt to do this, I see all the html code in the editable area instead of the text and images.
I am using Mac OS 10.6.8
