Is it possible to find information regarding system board 1897 72.66

Hello. I have a HP envy 6 and I'm hoping to upgrade the CPU from the i5-3317U to an i7-2630QM which I already have from a previouse laptop. I was hoping to find if it was possible to do so on this motherboard or even if it would fit inside the laptop. Thank you.

Hi,
Envy 6 is a series of many models, what is yours ? Upgrading a laptop is not similar to upgrading a desktop, sometimes you need the right part to be able to get your machine up and running. Please use the following link to work out the model/product of your machine:

  • Where to find information on system tables like SARI

I'm having problems with installing an addon that was created by a third party.  I'm seeing on the forum a table called SARI that contains some information regarding addons.
My question is a general one,  where can I find documentation on SARI and any other sbo-common tables, or system tables like OARI?
    Thanks

    Hi John,
I don't think I've seen any official documentation on the SARI table. The SARI table contains information on all addons installed on the system, including a copy of the installer in a binary field in the table. References to the OARI and ARI1 tables can be found in the SDK documentation but that's limited to the database reference section. As none of these tables are exposed via a DI API object, I guess SAP don't wish to provide detailed information as changing the data directly in the database is not allowed.
If an addon is not installing correctly and you suspect these tables then it would be best to contact SAP support.
    Kind Regards,
    Owen

  • Where can I find information regarding end of life or product lifecycle of Lenovo products

The psrefs files are chockful of great information, however,  as an IT Manager, I need to be able to anticipate when models will be available for purchase, and when not.  We use the Image Ultra Builder extensively to deploy or replace 5-600 laptops/ldesktops annually. If a particular model is no longer available, I have to not only forecast when I can order a certain model, but also allow a ramp-up time when I have to order a new model, build a new IUB, test it, before we introduce in the production environment. Thank you, in advance, for your help!

  • Is is the BIOS or the system board?

Hi.  I have a pc manufactued by a deceased company named Quantex.  The pc has a MSI MS-6199VA
system board with W6199VAFD v3.3 121799 Bios, an Intel P6C (Coppermine) Pentium III 733Mhz
processor and a VIA Apollo Pro 133 chipset.
I have been having some trouble with the pc over the last month.  It has an nVidia GeForce 256 video
card and around the middle of October I updated my install of Norton SystemWorks from NSW 2002 to
NSW 2003 as well as updating the nVidia drivers to the latest version (40.72).  Things have not been the
same since.  I started getting random system freezes and 0D or 0E Fata Exceptions as Windows 98SE
was starting to initialize and display the desktop and Windows signon.  I was always able to restart in
Safe Mode, but not always able to get around the Fatal Exception in normal mode.
Over the course of the next month, the pc never really attained stability.  Sometimes it ran fine for a while,
then would just freeze.  I started backing up more often and got PowerQuest Drive Image for disaster
recovery purposes.  I already had a tape drive, but sometimes the tape backup software would
freeze/stop functioning in the middle of a backup.
I then got a larger hard drive, so that I do Drive Image backups to HDD rather than CD-RW.  I got an
ATA-100 80 Gb drive but did not yet install it.
This past week I checked your website to see if I could find any additional information about my BIOS
and if it would support the new hard drive.  I saw that I was on v3.3 and that you have v3.5.  It also
appeared to me that v3.5 was needed for the new drive.  It also seemed to me that my issues could be
    hardware (ie, system board) related.
Anyway,  I used your v3.5 BIOS update utility to backup my existing BIOS.  Double checked my system
board and chipset and then tried the v3.5 update.  The flash update did not write completely (out of the
two full rows of white progress boxes around 6 of them were blue).  I restored the original bios and
regained some function.  However, I can no longer even get through the CMOS setup without the pc
    freezing.
I have reseated all cards and the processor as well as trying only one memory chip at a time.  Nothing
has changed the behavior.  I even reflashed the v3.5 BIOS, this time with a clean update (all white
    progress boxes).  Still no stability.
I am just looking for some advice.  It my system board gone?  Was it going or did I destroy it with the bios
update?  Since my original equipment manufacter is no longer in business I have nowhere to go for
hardware support.  Is it possible to find a replacement system board or better to cut my losses and get a
new pc.  I am fairly pc competent but not to the point where I would swap out a system board on my own.
    Vic

On Friday I decided to take everything apart; including removing the system board and then put it all back together.  Believe it or not, without any repairs since I last replied in this forum, my pc is now somewhat revived.  It appears as though my problem might have been that the processor was not completely seated in the slot.  Does that make sense?  The freezing during CMOS setup or OS startup has completely disappeared.
There are still some stability problems and there also appears to be a BIOS issue.
I think the stability problems are from corrupt OS files (Win98 SE) and I am thinking the only recovery for that is to reinstall.  Nothing like a perfect opportunity to move this hardware to Windows 2000.
Now for the BIOS question.  This board is an MS-6199VA.  The BIOS is W6199VMS v3.5 100200 with BIOS ID of 01/01/2000-692-596-W977-2A6LGM4BC-00.  At the tail end of the BIOS startup I get the following..
CMOS Checksum error - Defaults loaded.
    Warning! CPU has been changed.
Please re-enter CPU settings in the CMOS setup and   remember to save before quit.
Press F1 to continue or DEL to enter CMOS setup
I have gone through all the CMOS setup options, set them, changed some; like disabling a serial port and setting up a power on password, and save them.  Yet I still get this message every time.
Other than halting the startup until I press F1 or DEL there seems to be no other negatives.  Am I missing something or is there a storm coming?

  • Will an X230t system board fit in the standard X230?

Related to my other post about my 2306CTO X230 no longer powering up:  if I happen to find a replacement system board for the X230t tablet version, will it fit in my standard X230?
The FRU for my system board is 04Y1670.  Might have located a reasonably-priced replacement for an X230t, FRU 04W6804.
    Thanks!

If you use a dremel, maybe, but I recommend you to buy a X230 (non-Tablet) system board.

  • Where to find the information regarding relationships between the tables?

I am developing a Windows based app which among other things let’s users view SAP table schema and relationships.
If I use SAP GUI and dig up a bit on say the MARA table I can see that
Material Master (MARA) is related with
    1) MaterialDescription (MAKT) on columns MANDT and MATNR
    2) MaterialPlantData (MARC) on columns MANDT and MATNR
    and so on…
My question is - in which table the information regarding relationships between the tables is stored? There must be a data dictionary table which would be storing the relationships data. Which is it? Note: I will programatically access the table, NOT from the UI.

    Thanks a lot...
I am still working on it, but here are the current findings. DD05S, DD08L and DD08T: The schemas for these tables were very promising for the thing I was looking for. Unfortunately the data within dose not seem to serve my exact purpose.
I found another one DD26S, which has almost 90% of the relationships I wish to explore. Do you know what is it supposed to contain?
Thanks a lot for your help.

  • Windows Server 2012 - Hyper-V - Cluster Sharded Storage - VHDX unexpectedly gets copied to System Volume Information by "System", Virtual Machines stops respondig

We have a problem with one of our deployments of Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V with a 2 node cluster connected to a iSCSI SAN.
    Our setup:
Hosts - Both run Windows Server 2012 Standard and are clustered.
HP ProLiant G7, 24 GB RAM. This is the primary host and normaly all VMs run on this host.
HP ProLiant G5, 20 GB RAM. This is the secondary host that and is intended to be used in case of failure of the primary host.
We have no antivirus on the hosts and the scheduled ShadowCopy (previous version of files) is switched off.
    iSCSI SAN:
    QNAP NAS TS-869 Pro, 8 INTEL SSDSA2CW160G3 160 GB i a RAID 5 with a Host Spare. 2 Teamed NIC.
    Switch:
DLINK DGS-1210-16 - Both the network cards of the Hosts that are dedicated to the Storage and the Storage itself are connected to the same switch and nothing else is connected to this switch.
    Virtual Machines:
    3 Windows Server 2012 Standard - 1 DC, 1 FileServer, 1 Application Server.
1 Windows Server 2008 Standard Exchange Server.
All VMs are using dynamic disks (as recommended by Microsoft).
    Updates
We have applied the most resent updates to the Hosts, VMs and iSCSI SAN about 3 weeks ago with no change in our problem and we continually update the setup.
    Normal operation:
Normally this setup works just fine and we see no real difference in speed in startup, file copy and processing speed in LoB applications of this setup compared to a single host with two 10000 RPM Disks. Normal network speed is 10-200 Mbit, but occasionally
we see speeds up to 400 Mbit/s of combined read/write for instance during file repair.
    Our Problem:
Our problem is that for some reason a random VHDX gets copied to System Volume Information by "System" of the Clusterd Shared Storage (i.e. C:\ClusterStorage\Volume1\System Volume Information).
All VMs stops responding or responds very slowly during this copy process and you can for instance not send CTRL-ALT-DEL to a VM in the Hyper-V console, or for instance start task manager when already logged in.
This happens at random and not every day and different VHDX files from different VMs gets copied each time. Some time it happens during daytime wich causes a lot of problems, especially when a 200 GB file gets copied (which take a lot of time).
    What it is not:
We thought that this was connected to the backup, but the backup had finished 3 hours before the last time this happended and the backup never uses any of the files in System Volume Information so it is not the backup.
    An observation:
When this happend today I switched on ShadowCopy (previous files) and set it to only to use 320 MB of storage and then the Copy Process stopped and the virtual Machines started responding again. This could be unrelated since there is no way to see
how much of the VHDX that is left to be copied, so it might have been finished at the same time as I enabled  ShadowCopy (previos files).
    Our question:
Why is a VHDX copied to System Volume Information when scheduled ShadowCopy (previous version of files) is switched off? As far as I know, nothing should be copied to this folder when this functionis switched off?

    Please note:
Please only answer our question and do not offer any general optimization tips that do not directly adress the issue! We want the problem to go away, not to finish a bit faster!

    Hallo Lawrence!
Thankyou for youre reply, some comments to help you and others who read this thread:
First of all, we use Windows Server 2012 and the VHDX as I wrote in the headline and in the text in my post. We have not had this problem in similar setups with Windows Server 2008 R2, so the problem seem to be introduced in Windows Server 2012.
These posts that you refer to seem to be outdated and/or do not apply to our configuration:
    The post about Dynamic Disks:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee941151(v=WS.10).aspx is only a recommendation for Windows Server 2008 R2 and the VHD format. Dynamic VHDX is indeed recommended by Microsoft when using Windows Server 2012 (please look in the optimization guide
    for Windows Server 2012).
Infact, if we use fixed VHDX then we would have a bigger problem since fixed VHDX are generaly larger then Dynamic Disks, i.e. more data would be copied and that would take longer time = the VMs would be unresponsive for a longer time.
The post "What's the deal with the System Volume Information folder"
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/oldnewthing/archive/2003/11/20/55764.aspx is for Windows XP / Windows Server 2003 and some things has changed since then. for instance In Windows Server 2012, Shadow Copies cannot be controlled by going to Control panel -> System.
Instead you right-click on a Drive (i.e. a Volume, for instance the C drive/Volume) in Computer and then click "Configure Shadow Copies".
Windows Server 2008 R2 Backup problem
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/windowsbackup/thread/0fc53adb-477d-425b-8c99-ad006e132336 - This post is about the Antivirus software trying to scan files used during backup that exists in the System Volume Information folder and we do not
have any antivirus software installed on our hosts as I stated in my post.
    Comment that might help us:
So according to “System Volume Information” definition, the operation you mentioned is Volume Shadow Copy. Check event viewer to find Volume Shadow Copy related event logs and post them.
    Why?
Furhter investigation suggests that a volume shadow copy is somehow created even though the Schedule for Shadows Copies is turned off for all drives. This happens at random and we have not found any pattern. Yesterday this operation took almost all available
disk space (over 200 GB), but all the disk space was released when I turned on scheduled Shadow Copies for the CSV.
    I therefore draw these conclusions:
The CSV Volume has about 600 GB of disk space and since Volume Shadows Copy used 200 GB, or about 33% of the disk space, and the default limit is 10% then I conclude that for some reason the unscheduled Volume Shadow Copy did not have any limit (or ignored
    the limit).
When I turned on the Schedule I also change the limit to the minimum amount which is 320 MB and this is probably what released the disk space. That is, the unscheduled Volume Shadow Copy operation was aborted and it adhered to the limit and deleted the
Volume Shadow Copy it had taken.
I have also set the limit for Volume Shadow Copies for all other volumes to 320 MB by using the "Configure Shadow Copies" Window that you open by right clicking on a drive (volume) in Computer and then selecting "Configure Shadow Copies...".
It is important to note that setting a limit for Shadow Copy Storage, and disabaling the Schedule are two different things! It is possible to have unlimited storage for Shadow Copies when the Schedule is disabled, however I do not know if this was the case
Before I enabled Shadow Copies on the CSV since I did not look for this.
I now have defined a limit for Shadow Copy Storage to 320 MB on all drives and then no VHDX should be copied to System Volume Information since they are all larger than 320 MB.
Does this sound about right or am I drawing the wrong conclusions?

There is something strange about the limits on the Secondary host!
I have not in any way changed the settings on the Secondary host and as you can see, the Secondary host has a maximum limit of only 35 MB storage on the CSV, but it also shows that this is 10% of the Volume. This is clearly not the case since 10% if 600
    GB = 60 GB!
The question is, why does it by default set a too small limit (i.e. < 320 MB) on the CSV and is this the cause of the problem? I.e. is the limit ignored since it is smaller than the smallest amount you can provide using the GUI?
Is the default 35 MB maximum Shadow Copy limit a bug, or is there any logical reason for setting a limit that according to the GUI is too small?

  • Using column value is it possible to find the table name in the database?

    Hi all,
using column value is it possible to find the table name in the database?
guys i need the table value
    Note:
    oracle-9i
    for example:
i don't know NIC(column value) in which table in the database.
    Thank you,

    Hi,
As far as I understand what you are asking for I would suggest 4 data dictionaries that will help you to know the table name from the column names
    1. USER_TAB_COLS
    2. ALL_TAB_COLS
    3. DBA_TAB_COLS
    4. COLS
These can give you detail information about the columns and respective tables at user, schema, dba level. Further information on the table can be found by querying ALL_OBJECTS table giving table_name as Object_name, or you can join the data dictionaries too.
    To know about various data dictionaries avalible in Oracle please query select * from cat;
Let us know if you need further assistance.

  • Is it possible to change the Logical System name in ID

    Hi,
I am doing a file to Idoc scenario. My requirement is to overwrite the logical system name, which is set in SLD for sender (system). Is it possible to overwrite it in ID or in mapping somewhere.
    Thanks,
    Dehra

    Hi Dehra,
Go through the below help file of SLD. It will give you information regarding logical name as well:

  • STOLEN IPHONE - IS IT POSSIBLE TO FIND IT?

Is it possible to find my stolen iPhone through the imie code? using iphone makes sense when you have an Apple ID. Is it possible to find my iPhone through IMEI if someone restored the pjone and connected it to a new Apple ID? That would mean that one IMEI is in two Apple Accounts. Is it possible to find out that?
Second question - I didn't have Find My Phone software on the stolen iPhone, but installed it on another (old one i have) and it showed both iphones the old one i am using now and the stolen one. The fact that the stolen device appears in my account means that the phone has not been restored or it could have been restored and now works in another account?
    Thanks for information in advance.

    Dear AnaMusic,
I read the infomration in the link you sent me, but there is no information about the option 'report a stolen device'. I can't see any option like that one. I can see only that I can look for it through 'Find My iPhone' application, which, I heard, is useless if the telephone has been restored.
Where can I report a stolen iphone?
    regards,
    Martin

  • Possible to connect multiple R3/Systems to one XI?

    Hi,
is it possible to connect mutiple R3-Systems to one XI?
    How does it work?
    Regards
    Stefan

    Stefan,
You can certainly connect multiple R/3 systems to one XI.
    1. If your R/3 system release is 4.7 then use point 8 from the configuration guide. (RZ70 transaction collects the system data and creates a technical system in the SLD)
    2. If your R/3 system release is < 4.7 (means 46c or 46B, 40B) then you should create a technical system in the SLD.
    3. For any other SAP product with ABAP stack (including R/3 47 system), you should check the SAP_BASIS release if it is 6.20 you should apply XI Add-on to use XI Proxy adapter. For SAP_BASIS < 620 you cannot have XI Proxy adapter. For SAP_BASIS > 6.20 you do not need any add-ons (from this point onwards it is NetWeaver)
To find SAP_BASIS release -> SPAM Transaction -> Click on Package Level.
Then create a business systems for each one of them and import them into the Int. Directory when needed.

    hi,
I have created the From .
when i try to run the application .i am getting the folllowing error .
Is there any solution for that?
WebDynpro Exception: The ADS call has failed. You can find information about the cause in the error.pdf on the application server.
    Regards

It sounds like your system is not properly configured for the connection to the Adobe Document Services.  Have your system admins confirm the setup.  Look for the error.pdf document mentioned in the exception for more details on the actual cause of the error. This error message is generic and could be caused by several different conditions - almost all of which are related to incomplete or incorrect configuration of the ADS/ADS Connectivity.

  • Is it possible to find out if a certain type of document is available inside a document-set by the help of workflows?

Is it possible to find out if a certain type of document is available inside a document-set by the help of workflows?

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to find out if a certain type of document is available inside a document-set.
Per my knowleadge, there is no out of the box way to accomplish this with SharePoint Designer Workflow.
To find the content type inside a document-set, there are two methods:
First, open a document set, click “New Document” option, then you can find the available content type in the document set.
Second, open the document set content type, open Document Set Settings Page, then you can see the available content type.
