Is it possible to get back all of your pictures that was on Lightroom after uninstalling and re-installing the software?

I recently had to get my Mac completely rebooted by having the OS reinstalled and the hard drive replaced, due to a conflict with Adobe and my Mac. I had to uninstall and reinstall all my softwares, including Photoshop and Lightroom. They didn't mention anything about losing all your files. And now, I am left with nothing on my lightroom; all the files I had were very important. I thought well since it is an app, there must be a way to restore all my files. Is there??

All of the files that you were working on and managing in Lightroom were not actually "in" Lightroom. Your files are stored in folders on your computer. Lightroom simply points to those files and displays them. Reinstalling Lightroom would not have any impact on your image files unless the hard drive(s) were reformatted in the process. Lightroom uses a catalog which is a database to keep track of where your images are located. It also stores all of the adjustments made to your images. If you backed up that catalog before reinstalling your software, and if you still have all of your images, then you should be able to open that catalog that you used previously and have all of your work still in place. If you don't have the catalog then I'm afraid you will just have to start over. Whether or not you still have your image files isn't clear.

I then decided to try and reload the Canon printer drivers and for some silly reason I deleted the existing Canon printer drive. Now I cannot load them from the CD provided with the printer or from downloads through the Apple store. If anyone out there could help me I would be greatly appreciated......

These Canon printer/scanner drivers from Apple - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL899 - should work. The MP250 is listed on the support page. Try downloading and installing them.

If your old version of iTunes is still working - then I sugest you stick with that.
iTunes 11 is a lousy update - It will not retain your playlists, you can't find and delete duplicates... and a whole arry of oyher issues. (have a look around this forum to see how many issues IT11 gives people)

How do you permanently (as long as possible) delete maleware pop ups on your safari-- that i know will eventually spread and attack my various computer files?? HELP HELP HELP! i haven't found a good enough solution!!

The old rule of thumb was to keep 10-12 GB free. Any lower than that and you will start to have trouble. I was very close to that for a long time and never had any complaints. Now, Lion "encourages" 20% free space (on my newer 250 GB drive) so I try to keep it with more than 50 GB free.
Do you still have the original memory in that machine too? The metal plate you have to remove in the battery compartment also provides access to the RAM. Your machine will take 2 GB of RAM, possibly 3. You definitely want to max that out too.
Regardless, you definitely need a new hard drive. When Apple switched to PC components, they had to take a quality hit. These 2.5" notebook hard drives are not very reliable. I'm surprised your hard drive hasn't died by now. I usually get a new hard drive with every major OS upgrade. A $ 50 investment every couple of years is no big deal.
Unfortunately, you (and I) suffer from being an early adopter in 2006. Those 32-bit machines only accept 2 GB RAM (maybe 3) and are only 32-bit so they can't be upgraded to Lion. Because of this limitation, you won't see as dramatic an improvement as you would with a 2007 machine. If you run more than a couple of applications, your hard drive is always going to have to be doing some VM work. My 2006 machine has even lost its bluetooth. I gave it to my brother. My very similar 2007 Macbook is still running great.
So, you must get a new hard drive because your old one is likely on death's door. If you don't have at least 2 GB - get it. If you can't afford a new machine, you might want to consider an SSD. That might help mitigate your RAM limitations. You can spend from $ 100 to $ 350 and get a dramatic speed improvement.

Look... I don't have my crystal ball handy. I don't know how or if you had your backup set up. You don't adequately describe what you're missing. Stating that "All I am left with is the content I had before I upgraded to iOS" doesn't tell me anything at all... When did you upgrade? Apparently, you had a backup from that time, and when you restored, you restored from that backup. If you had no other backups in between then and now, then anything since that time is gone. Permanently.

I think there might be a bug in FF18. After the upgrade, I would also get the error message and couldn't open any site, though using "No proxy" worked I believe. Turns out I had something set under network.proxy.socks (and network.proxy.socks_port) (leftovers of tests done a while back) and even though they shouldn't have been used (I believe, FF17 didn't & I'm using "Use system proxy settings") they obviously were, leading to the problem.
Just resetting those 2 options fixed things for me, and I didn't have time to look into it more, but there might be a bug in there somewhere...
Maybe try checking under about:config if you have any proxy settings set (that you don't need/use) (You don't seem to have any set, but I can't recall if they were visible in the Preferences window or not for me...), and if so reset them. Or just look for any (network) options not using its default value... (Assuming, as it did for me, that running FF18 with a brand new profile works fine.)

Trying to install autofills, now firefox add-ons are all out of whack. think i might need to uninstall and re-install add-onns?

I had been trying to add on autofills in firefox, and have managed to throw EVERYTHING out of kilter, and I don't know enough about the Firefox add-ons feature to know where to begin to repair it to normal conditions. Suffice to say that the autofill add on feature does not work at all.

Which autofill extension did you install?
Did you check for reported issues in the comments on its Add-on page?
If the extension isn't working properly then you need to uninstall this extension and possibly look for another extension.

Apple does not support downgrading the iOS. If there are edifice areas that are causing you problems you should ask about them on these forums and someone might be able to help. Let us know exactly what the problem is, what you might have done to correct it, and what, if any, error messages you received.

Any way to get music off of a computer that was stolen and not backed up

At one point all of a sudden all my old music that was lost appeared in my account out of the blue years later for a short time so there must be some kind of digital record of it. Well first you need to sync your iPhone 4 with your Mac/PC so that it will transfer all your music, apps, podcasts, etc. Then sync your iPod Touch and the media you selected during the sync should be there on your iPhone. If you have difficulty in transferring media from iPhone to your computer, try softwares like TransCopy. They will help in transferring data from your iphone to your computer. Dont forget to check that all the transferred data is in the iTunes media folder so that the iTunes can locate the files. Link to Transcopy software :
